During the summer (June-July), I currently have availability for weekday bookings only and am unavailable on weekends. I do my best to keep a consistent, calm routine so pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away! I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as possible while their owners are away. I will take time with the owners prior to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and specific needs so I can provide consistent care and help them feel at ease. Whether that means walks, playtime, cuddle time, feeding schedules, medication reminders, or simply keeping them company, I’m happy to adapt to what works best for your pet. Because my apartment has a 20-pound pet limit, most of my services must be provided in clients’ homes. For smaller dogs that meet my apartment requirements, I can also provide care in my home on a case-by-case basis.

I love to go on walks and play catch with the pets. I work from home full time and therefore have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I work in my apartment building that has a dog park across the street for easy play time! Excited to give them all the attention they will let me. My apartment is a smoke free place and we allow pets on our furniture.

About: I grew up with animals, including a beloved cat, Samantha, that lived for 21 years. My mom, brother and sister all have dogs or cats currently that I regularly sit for — including weeks-long stints, long walks around the neighborhood, swim time at the beach, or quick check-ins with some playtime. I’m extremely organized, dependable and responsible. I’ve taken dogs to urgent care when needed (once for a hot spot and once for an eye ulcer) and ensured they got the best care possible and followed the post-care protocol to the tee. I adore animals, but I’m just not ready to commit to my own just yet — would love to get the chance to play and care for yours soon! I currently work full time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, especially since I work California hours (starting at 11 AM). I try to take at least one good walk every day whether I have a dog to walk or not. I live in a gated apartment building, and have a small patio and rooftop with a small porch potty installed and an area to run around. I also live walking distance to 3 parks and a mile from the lakefront path. I have had different apartment setups depending on the dog and their specifications (slept in bed, slept in crate, made a special area in my guest bed, etc.).
