About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and had them as pets all my life. I frequently pet sit for all my friends and love spending time with fury babies! I just finished up my PhD and am taking some much needed rest time, therefore my schedule is very open. I live in Lakeview and am around most weekends as well. I absolutely adore pets and strive to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I understand it can be weird for the animals to have a stranger come visit them while their parent is away and I keep that in mind when interacting with them. I am patient and kind and wait for the pet to come to me for attention or love!

About: I have a one year old Australian Shepherd; she is the most loving and friendly dog that can get along with any dog. I grew up with dogs and have plenty of space in our apartment and take daily visits to the dog park near us! I work from home and can spend the whole day with your puppy! I take my puppy Clover to the dog park at least once a day and for walks every few hours. We are a 10 min walk from the lake and love to go on lake walks! I have a super friendly Australian Shepard to play with your dog all day. She is filled with energy but can also respect your dogs space when needed!

About: I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog and have watched/walked countless dogs throughout my 24yrs of life. From energetic to mellow, introverted to extroverted, and aggressive to gentle. I have always been able to breakthrough and bring out the sweethearts they are! I have experience working with mistreated Pit Bulls during my time in college. On top of that, I spent a summer volunteering in a dog van bathing service. Plain and simple, I have spent a lot of time with dogs! I truly love them and think they are all wonderful with the proper care and affection! Pet care is my primary focus as of now. Willing and able to work whenever possible! I recently graduated from Colorado State and will be attending Northwestern for my masters in the fall. Until then, I will be dog walking/sitting. I look forward to working with you all! I have a spacious three floor apartment with one roommate, who is also a huge dog lover and well experienced with dogs. We have an outdoor fenced in patio that is suitable for all dogs. We also have no other animals in the house. We are smoke free and all house plants are animal friendly. In terms of care, I first assure the dog feels safe and comfortable. Time is needed in order to let them become so. Secondly, I make sure simple needs are met: water, food, bathroom. It is all about being aware and open to a dog’s subtle gestures. The right environment is crucial to set the tone and mood of the dog! In my care, I hope to make every dog feel safe and loved!

About: Dog lover at heart! I have had two dogs of my own and loved taking care of them. I also cared for dogs and other pets in my neighborhood growing up for years and have since continued that. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, including senior dogs and dogs over 100 lbs. My fiancée works from home most days and I work from home 3 days of the week we are able to tend to dogs pretty flexibly! She is a dog lover as well and has tons of experience caring for dogs. We have a few parks nearby that we love taking our family and friends' dogs to, to throw a ball around or just let the dog run around. Would love to take care of your dog! I work from home in a very flexible job that allows me to be available almost all the time. I love getting outside for walks and going to the park. Generally, I love being active and have lots of free time to spend with dogs! I have a fairly spacious apartment that the dog will be free to roam if desired. We don’t have a yard, so any time outside will be walks / trips to parks. Your dog will always be leashed unless they are off leash trained and you are comfortable allowing me to let them off leash at the park. I am comfortable with almost any arrangement that will allow you to feel comfortable allowing your dog to stay in my care!
