Fun-loving, aspiring dog dad!

I started caring for my first dog (Bloo!) the day I turned 14 and since then, I have been the go-to-guy for friends and family who need a little help with watching their pets. With me, your dog(s) will be fed, join me for long walks, spoiled with treats (as directed, of course), and be met with the necessary love, snuggles, and respect all animals deserve.

Sage was great, took my last minute request and took care of Bruno, sent constant pictures, and always in touch, I will recommend Sage for any dog care, he is located in a very nice quite neighboorhood in the city north side,it was a perfect place and care for Bruno.

Sage and Olivia are some of the kindest people who will love your dog like it’s their own! My dog Allie who can be a little shy had no problem opening up and calling their place home. They send the best pics and I had zero worry about whether or not my dog was in good hands!!! 10/10

Sage was absolutely incredible with my dog while I was out of town! He made sure to ask about any callouts I had, sent regular updates, and was overall super attentive to my dog's needs and varying energy levels. I also really appreciated his flexibility when my travel plans were disrupted a bit. I would be more than happy for my dog to stay with him and his partner again in the future.

My dog's new home away from home! Sage was so attentive to my dog, giving frequent updates, asking questions as needed, and providing lots of cute pics. It was very fun to come pick up my dog and see how comfortable and happy he was with Sage. So happy to have found Sage!

House Sitting • Feb 27, 2026

Sage is an absolutely wonderful sitter. My goofy, 60-lb pittie mix, Trilli, stayed with Sage and his partner in their super cool condo for 2 weeks. Trilli was showered with love the whole time I was gone and fell in love with Sage. Sage did a meet-and-greet before I left and was so kind to pick up Trilli from my partner who doesn't drive. As I was leaving I got the kindest note about enjoying my trip and I got at least one update everyday with pictures (usually more!). Trilli was a bit of a pouty troublemaker while she was there and Sage and his partner were the absolute best about it -- totally rolled with it, adjusted and accommodated her moods, and kept me posted. Trilli is also a bit high maintenance (she arrived with 4 bags!) and Sage did everything she needed and wanted. My request was last minute and I was a bit nervous about having to find someone new to watch Trilli, and Sage and his partner put me at ease the minute I met them. Just truly kind, caring, and thoughtful folks. Everytime I got a message during the trip my partner would read it and he just kept saying how incredibly lucky I got. I give Sage my absolute highest recommendation! I will definitely call on him first the next time I travel. He is building his following on Rover, so reach out -- you'll be so happy you did.

Safety, trust & environment

I share a cozy two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Wrigleyville with my partner (who is also a Rover caretaker). We have enough space for multiple pets, crates, toys, and dog beds. When it’s time to get outside, our neighborhood is very safe and mostly quiet, so we are able to go for a walk at a moments notice any time of day. Depending on the dog, there are nearby parks and beaches where games of fetch can last all day. Thankfully, given my work schedule, I have the full capacity to do house-sitting, and will leave your home just I had found it, only leaving behind a new friend(s).

A typical day

A typical dayis filled with long walks, play sessions, games of fetch and play with toys, belly rubs, and plenty of cuddle breaks. I make every day engaging, active, and fun while keeping each pup safe and happy.

Before dog-sitting, I like to know each dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, walking habits, and any training commands. It’s also important to understand their temperament, medical needs, emergency contacts, house rules. Each dog has a unique personality and set of needs so anything that helps keep them comfortable and safe is worthy of notice.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
