Hi there! I'm so excited to be able to take care of your furry loved ones! I have always been an animal person since I was young, having neighbors and family friends reach out to me to pet when they go on vacation. Once I got into adulthood, I sought out other opportunities to be around animals. I worked at a dog boarding farm when I was in grad school and I always tell people that it was the best job I ever had! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter as well, playing and taking care of doggos waiting for adoption!

Melissa was very communicative, and had timely response to all of my messages. She was attentive to Groot’s needs which is my biggest concern since he is a deaf dog which is not for everyone. Best part was seeing him super tired after his day of fun! Definitely will book again

Schedule
I work from home as a mental health therapist so I have a flexible schedule during the day to be able to give the proper care your pup needs! I typically try to get all the pups out for a long walk during the day on my breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment building with a fenced in court yard and two side yards. I love taking pups out to play during my work breaks! I also have a small dog park behind our apartment unit that I can take your pups to as well if they are friendly around other dogs.
A typical day
I like to play with your pup, especially outside if the weather permits in our fenced in yard, so toys are encouraged! I love throwing the ball up and down our hallways, it's usually a hit with other doggos!

- If your pup tends to bark a lot or is a working/high energy dog, it may not be a good fit. Although I do work from home and here with your pup during the day, I am a mental health therapist so I am preoccupied during my sessions and it is preferable if your dog is able to be independent throughout the day. I also currently have a reoccurring pup that comes Tuesday-Thursday each week so I am only accepting bookings from Fridays-Mondays at this time. Since I am a mental health therapist, it's important that I generally have a quiet space so if your pup tends to bark a lot, it may not be a good fit.
