Hi, fellow dog lovers! I’m a lifelong animal lover and the go-to person for pet care among my friends and neighbors. Growing up, I was the kid everyone called when they found an injured animal or needed a reliable dog sitter. I absolutely love dogs, but I’m not quite ready to have one of my own again—so I thought this would be a great way to enjoy some doggie companionship while helping owners who need a trustworthy sitter. To make sure your pup feels safe and stress-free in a new environment, I only take one dog at a time (unless they’re from the same household). I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Whether you need care on weekends, weekdays, or holidays, I’m happy to help! Buddy was fantastic! He took great care of our two dogs and sent us lots of photos throughout their stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear they felt comfortable, settled in quickly, and enjoyed their time with him. They came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. I highly recommend Buddy if you’re looking for someone you can trust with your dogs. He keeps you updated while you’re away and genuinely cares about them. As a thoughtful bonus, he sent us home with two pieces of artwork, one of each of our dogs. It was such a nice personal touch.

Schedule
I currently work at home and am rarely out of the house for more than 2 hours a day. If your pet enjoys riding around in the car and running errands with me, then he/she will come along.

Safety, trust & environment
One of the many things I love about boarding a dog is it gets me out to exercise. I live close to the lake so I usually take dogs out on two longs walks, two short walks, and night/morning potty breaks (or more if needed). Also, please bring your dog's favorite toys and I will play fetch or hide-n-seek or tug-o-war in the house.
A typical day
I live two blocks away from the lake with lots of water, sand, grass, trees, and bushes to keep your dog engaged and stimulated. If your dog is dog friendly and is accustomed to dog parks and the dog beach, I love taking dogs out to the Prairie Wolf Dog Park in Lake Forest, IL. Also, if you make the grooming appointment, I'm more than happy to get your dog all cleaned up after our days of fun before you pick him/her up.
