About: We are two dog-smitten people who, after adopting our own dog Olive a few years ago, have continued fostering dogs and volunteering through local shelters and are now sitting for Rover. We love meeting new dogs and showering them with love and attention while they’re in our home. We have a soft spot for seniors and have experience working with shyer/anxious dogs. I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule, so there will almost always be someone around with your dog. We live in a duplex apartment with a small backyard and one block from a large park, where we walk nearly every day. We will update you with pics throughout your dog’s stay. Please bring whatever your dog needs to be comfortable—food, dog bed, special treats, sweaters or booties if cold weather, calming chews, etc. We take care that our dog and our guest get along well. Your dog will be the only guest in our home, alongside our resident dog. Our dog is mostly indifferent to other dogs but occasionally finds a playmate. We do feed dogs separately and place them in separate closed-door rooms when we leave. We’re happy to have the dogs meet for a short walk prior to booking.
