“Susan was wonderful! She was very caring with our little elder dog. Communication was great and we were happy to receive a photo of our dog having a comfortable stay with Susan. We appreciate you, Susan!”

“Our pup Albie had a great daycare day with Laura and Charles! Albie is often really nervous away from home but seemed quickly at ease! Laura and Charles sent us photos and videos and are clearly super thoughtful each dog and their needs. We look forward to having Albie stay there again!”

“Megan was a great host for our pups! Very willing to accommodate our schedule and responsive before and during our trip. Our two dogs had a great time during day care at her place and come home tuckered out both days they stated there. Thanks for taking such good care of them!”

“Robert was amazing watching my dog for the day. He took her on a long walk and she instantly was comfortable with him. He was also flexible when I was a little later to pick her up than expected - thank you Robert!”

About: I am home full-time, live in an apartment with 1 adorable dog. Dogs have been a part of my family since I was a little girl. I think they are the most adorable creatures and I love their personalities. I like playing with them, teaching them tricks and just hugging them all the time. Your dog will feel like it's their home when they are with me. Hope to see your dog soon. Have a great day! About this sitter: Love Animals! Why I love dog sitting Dogs have been in our home and a part of my life since I was a child. About my yard Yes, it is a small backyard. Several parks in the area for long walks. I work at home full time, so I have plenty of time to care and play with your pets. They will be comfortable and happy. I have a fenced yard and 1 dog. Your dog(s) will have play time and get plenty of exercise running around playing games, etc.,
About: I grew up with a Golden Retriever and have always loved caring for dogs. I've watched pets for friends and family and regularly care for my sister's dog, who has anxiety. I'm a great companion for dogs who need a little extra attention and care. Your pupper is in great, loving hands! I work from home and have lots of time to play with your pupper, take them on walks, and give them the attention they deserve. My schedule is very flexible :) I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of supervision throughout the day. If your dog is crate-trained, I have space in my office for a crate if needed. My apartment has steep stairs, but I use a dog gate for added safety and take dogs out using the back stairs which are less steep and have more traction. Dogs are welcome in every room. There are no off-limits spaces!
“Sarah and Walter have been such rockstars in helping us take care of our pup after his surgery! They are super responsive and flexible and great with taking care of special needs dogs. We are so appreciative of all of their work, and would definitely recommend them!”

About: Hi, I'm Sarah! I've been a trusted 5-star Rover sitter for nearly 10 years but dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! Now that I have a pup of my own, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust. While I love spending time with dogs, their safety and well-being always come first. Whether we're on a walk, at home, or around other dogs, I'm attentive to their individual needs and make thoughtful decisions to keep them safe and comfortable. I've cared for dogs of all personalities. From shy, fearful pups who need time to build trust, to reactive dogs who require patience and confidence, to happy-go-lucky companions who are just excited to make a new friend. Whether you're away for a weekend, a vacation, or just a night out, I'll treat your dog like they're one of my own and make sure you have peace of mind while you're away! I currently work a part-time full remote job so I am very flexible for timing. For boarding stays, that also means that someone is home 99% of the time! I have a spacious 1,400 sq. ft. apartment in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that's perfect for daily walks. My dog, Zinnia, is friendly, well-socialized, and great at reading other dogs' cues—she knows when to play and when to give space. All interactions are supervised and dogs are never left alone together. If your pup enjoys adventures, I'm happy to take them to the beach, dog park, or other outings with your approval. Zinnia also hates walks so if they require walks they will get me all to themselves!
About: Hi there! My name is Nicky (he/they) and I’ve been taking care of pets for my neighbors, friends, and family members for upwards of a decade and am commonly regarded as the go-to sitter in my community. I strive to treat every pet (and owner) with the utmost respect and kindness, and I’ll follow your instructions to a T! (The T stands for toe beans 🤓) Currently unemployed due to layoffs in my industry, so I’ll be able to give your fur bestie as much attention as possible! I can do overnights, multiple nights in a row, or just a drop-in/walk; whatever you need - I got you! :) I have a fenced yard in front of my apartment complex so your fur bestie can run free and tire themselves out before beddybye! I can crate your pup if you provide one or they can get some shut-eye on the couch or wherever they’re comfy!
About: Hey there! If you're reading this that most likely means you are going on a trip. If this is vacation, Congrats! You've earned it! If you're headed on a work trip, well then I hope the food is good! Either way, I would love to look after your furry friend while you're gone! I have been looking after pups for about 8 years and have had dogs of my own. I am more than happy to send regular updates so you don't miss your friend too much. I currently work part-time and from home, therefore I will be around all day to check in on your pet and keep them entertained while you are gone. After working with a family member who is a professional dog trainer, I have learned how to care for dogs with various temperaments. I can care for a shy doggie and play with a high energy puppy. I am no stranger to the intricacies of doggie care and will not shy away from strict guidelines. I truly care for the health of animals and want to do the best we can to give your furry friend some well deserved love and exercise.
“This was the second time that Nancy watched Bentley for us, and the first time we ever repeated a sitter on Rover. We usually feel guilty about leaving him knowing that he’s likely to be miserable, but not with Nancy! He really enjoys staying with her. It’s such a relief not to worry about Bentley and actually get to enjoy a nice day out.”

“Brad was timely with communications, sent me the cadence of updates I asked for while I was gone, and everything appeared to be a-okay when I returned from my trip. I would definitely recommend booking Brad for taking care of your fur baby!”

“Meli had a wonderful time with Tara and her family. I received pictures and an update of Meli during the day. She was accommodating and flexible with my schedule. Would definitely reccomend.”

“Kate was an absolute pleasure! So flexible with my last minute booking and I really appreciate how I received updates and pics throughout the day. As an anxious pet mom, this truly means a lot to me. Kate was great with Pearl and was able to get her to feel relaxed in a very short period of time. Will definitely book again!”

“Zev loves his daycare with Natalia and her fur-daughter Bella. She sends lots of updates and pictures with tails high and wagging. Now on walks, Zev is always pulling towards Natalia's house. Thank you Natalia for always being flexible and responsive!”

About: We are two dog-smitten people who, after adopting our own dog Olive a few years ago, have continued fostering dogs and volunteering through local shelters and are now sitting for Rover. We love meeting new dogs and showering them with love and attention while they’re in our home. We have a soft spot for seniors and have experience working with shyer/anxious dogs. I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule, so there will almost always be someone around with your dog. We live in a duplex apartment with a small backyard and one block from a large park, where we walk nearly every day. We will update you with pics throughout your dog’s stay. Please bring whatever your dog needs to be comfortable—food, dog bed, special treats, sweaters or booties if cold weather, calming chews, etc. We take care that our dog and our guest get along well. Your dog will be the only guest in our home, alongside our resident dog. Our dog is mostly indifferent to other dogs but occasionally finds a playmate. We do feed dogs separately and place them in separate closed-door rooms when we leave. We’re happy to have the dogs meet for a short walk prior to booking.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lincoln Square
Nicholas and family are amazing! Our first connect with them was when Harry was a little pup during a family emergency. They helped him with separation anxiety and Harry is happy when he sees them. They continue to help support our family during an ongoing health journey - can’t thank them enough! Highly recommend this family for any services - great home away from home for your pups! 🐾

Karlea was the absolute best!!!! She was so flexible and kind while watching our pup. We had unexpected things come up so we were late to pick him up, and Karlea offered to keep him overnight for us so we wouldn’t have to rush back. We were so grateful we booked with someone so understanding! Would absolutely recommend and rebook with her in the future!
