About: I think what sets me apart is that I never take it personally when animals like to keep to themselves. If they need time to warm up to me before they allow me to cuddle them, I respect their boundaries and leave them alone until they seek me out. I have a cat that doesn't really like anyone aside from me, and it really bothers me when people continue to try to pet him when he clearly doesn't like it. I also don't appreciate it when people yell or hiss at my cat when he hisses at them (because he's being territorial). It almost feels like they're arguing with a baby. I respect their boundaries the same way I respect a human's boundaries. This is my only job at the moment, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I just lost someone close to me, and I think spending time with all the pets will be very healing for me. The way I care for pets in a client's home is by making sure they are fed, have clean water, and that they get plenty of playtime and cuddles.

If you have a fenced yard and it is ok with you, I will play with your dog in the yard. If you prefer to keep your dog crated over night, I will do this as well! Any request you have, I will honor, so let’s make sure we communicate! I do not host dogs in my own home.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I spent two years working at a local dog shelter, where I cared for dogs of all breeds and personalities, and I’ve also grown up with both cats and dogs of my own. That experience taught me how to handle pets with patience, understanding, and care—whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between. What sets me apart is how much I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their people are away. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! I recently finished school, so my schedule is super flexible, and I love spending that extra time with animals. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I always make their safety and comfort my top priorities. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, from feeding routines to walking routes, and make sure pets are never left unsupervised in unsafe situations. I also pay close attention to how each pet is feeling, giving them space if they’re nervous and plenty of attention if they’re social. My goal is always to make your pet feel secure, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

About: I have been a huge fan of animals since childhood and usually find them better company than some people. I have done pet sitting for 6 years on and off for my neighbors--housesitting for their cats and walking their dogs. I've taken care of a wide range of pets including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, fish, and even turtles! I have a cat named Bitly and a small dog named Penny. I take care of all of their needs, including feeding, walking, and playing with them. Outside of pet-sitting, I am also fear-free certified and currently volunteer at a large animal shelter in Chicago. I regularly walk and socialize different breeds of dogs and clean kennels and enclosures. I have been told that I am communicative and adaptable so whatever your pet's needs are, please don't hesitate to let me know!
