“Michelle is so awesome with our French bulldog Toby! She came over for a meet and greet because we needed someone to watch Toby while we’re away for 2 weeks next month. She made us feel so much better about leaving our pup because she is very knowledgeable, kind, and Toby loved her immediately! She came over to walk Toby today and provided multiple updates and photos. She is very communicative. We know Toby will love being with her for our upcoming trip and knowing she is taking care of him gives us so much reassurance!”

“Kaitlan helped us in a pinch and was great with our senior dog. We met beforehand for a meet-and-greet so I could walk her through our dog's needs and quirks. She was patient with him and communicated well before, during, and after each walk. I trust Kaitlan and she will be the first person I reach out to if I need another dog walker in the future.”

“She's amazing! I'll definitely use her again. Hoping this will become a regular thing! My dog just fell to the floor as soon as he came back from the walk. Completely worth it. She is so friendly too!!”

“Shira did an amazing job taking care of my dogs! Enjoyed seeing the updates and photos of them from her! Since it is winter, she made sure my golden retriever booties were on which does take time getting them on. I’m very thankful for Shira taking such good care of my Dogs!”

“Josephine is the sweetest, this is my first time using the service and she helped me to make sure I was doing everything on my end correctly and Niko immediately took a liking to her as soon as them met. I would definitely rebook with her again! It was such a last minute request and I’m so thankful she was able to assis!”

About: I have had dogs all my life growing up. In high school I would regularly pet sit for multiple days for neighbors. In college my roommate (who is a veterinarian student) and I fostered cats with a variety of needs and I would assist with feeding and medication. As a recent Loyola graduate still looking for a full time position, I have lots of time to spend walking, playing with and caring for pets. My schedule is very flexible and can be adjusted to your needs. I will follow all guidelines set by pet owners. I ask all owners leave a vet contact and general instructions on how to best care for your pet(s). I provide walking services, home visits, and sitter care.
“I had surgery and needed help with dog walks. Alex was able to accommodate my last minute request for the meet and greet to get the ball rolling quickly. He was very kind and thoughtful, and my dog immediately took to him! I appreciate that Alex was always on time for the walks and kept me informed of how they went. Even though I’m back on my feet, I’m relieved to have found a very reliable dog walker in the neighborhood!”

About: I was raised on a farm in Bloomington, Indiana where our family would own or foster upwards of 6 dogs at any given time, of all sizes and breeds. I am familiar with rescues requiring extra patience and understanding, service dogs, large dogs, and breeds that have unique instincts + needs, such as herding dogs. I have also been a cat owner for over two decades (no cats in my apartment currently) and work especially well with cats with attitude, or who are known to be finicky in temperament. I can adapt to whatever special needs your animal might have and ensure they have the best care possible. My schedule is free at the moment (with a few exceptions), so feel free to reach out to see if a day / time works. I may be limited in long distance dog walking and high intensity play between June 3rd to June 15th, but standard walks and light play or visits to dog parks are fine. I have a spacious apartment with lots of room for animals to roam or lounge. There is a back deck and narrow fenced in area behind the building for lounging. The area I am in (Andersonville) is very dog friendly and walkable. I would suggest bringing blankets, beds, toys, etc as I don't have these items in my space at the moment. I am home all day / night for caretaking and happy to spend as much time with them as they need. If your pet requires special attention, just let me know and I will ensure they receive it. I also provide pictures and regular updates!
“Jena is flexible and was able to accommodate a last minute work trip that popped up. She makes me feel at ease going into the office and traveling for work knowing she’s there to give my pup some exercise and attention.”

“Houston treats Hank like he is her own dog. Hank is always calm and happy after she takes care of him. i couldn't do my job without her valuable and reliable help!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals since the day I was born. I have had experience with dogs and cats, young and old, large and small, trained and untrained. I am prepared for anything, and so excited to provide reliable, responsible, loving, and patient care for all animals. I will treat your animal as my own! I am currently the dog mom to Luna (Australian Shepherd), who lives in the suburbs with my parents, and cat mom to Rupaw, who lives in the city, here, with me. I create my own work schedule, so if flexibility is important to you, we can make anything work! I can do overnight care, both daytime and nighttime drop-in visits, and dog-walking at any time. My schedule is as flexible as you need it to be! I want to treat your pets with the care and love that I would my own! I will follow any routine that you provide for your fur baby, and lines of communication will be open at all points, should you have any special requests for me, as I am sitting. I am incredibly punctual, safe, patient, and experienced with all ages, sizes, and breeds of animal.

She loves other dogs and is very friendly to them. I provide house sitting, dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Please note that all services provided at my house my dog would be present. My partner and I have a huge apartment with multiple rooms for all your dog's needs, and a fenced in back yard. I plan to take care of your dog just like I take care of mine. So no matter how big or small or how much anxiety they may have I am the one for the job. i'm currently going to school and run my own business. I have plenty of time to take your dog and my dog on a walk. Play with them and give the cuddles. and my partner is here to help as well. i have a fenced in yard and a big dog to keep your dog company. Three bedroom apartment for the dogs to run around. Plenty of space.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a kid and have always loved them. I have two of my own and am super excited to spend some time with your pup! I love meeting new pets and can’t wait to provide them with structure and joy! My work schedule varies but I’m always happy to make sure I spend quality time with your dog. Remove hazards, secure doors and gates, provide comfortable bedding, supervise play, use non-toxic cleaning supplies, and ensure access to fresh water. Follow the pet's routine and monitor their behavior.

“Seriously, I can't say enough positive things about Tony. As a first time Rover user, I was initially reluctant about finding someone off the internet to stay in my house, with my two German Shepherds after our regular dogwalker/sitter was unavailable. After a couple of friends suggested Rover, I looked into and poured over reviews hoping to find someone experienced with big dogs. Tony's reviews are fabulous -- and for good reason. He took the time to come over and meet with my dogs, spending time with both them and us. My boy is big and a bit skittish but he and Tony were fast friends. The updates and photos of my pups made me feel so much more ease while we were away. I'd give him 6 stars if the option was available.”

Michelle was the absolute best with my girl Lou. She was communicative, timely, and sent lots of photos. She also was accompanying if I had sudden schedule changes. I could tell she took the time to earn my dog’s trust, and she was so excited to see Michelle each time. Would highly recommendb

Amelia has truly been the best dog walker! Always on time, if not a few minutes early, communicative, and lots of wonderful photos and detailed updates! Rango is always really excited to go on walks with her and returns home content with his adventures out with Amelia. Your friend will be in great hands with Amelia -we cannot cannot recommend her enough!

Madison is very sweet with our girl and super responsive. She has great communication with us and sends perfect updates and pics. She even helped us out when we had a last minute time change and a rain storm. We appreciate her very much and will confine to use her services.

Roxy is a dream! My senior dog was sick earlier in the week and needed some extra attention when Roxy walked him. Think extra food, medicine, walks, etc. Roxy handled the whole thing like a champ AND agreed to watch him on extremely short notice. 1000% would book again!

Maya was delightful from start to finish. We had a last minute booking which she accommodated with no stress. I’m recovering from a surgery so I needed her for 4 walks a day for 3 days. She showed up on time every time and was so positive and full of good energy every time. She was also very amenable to a few time changes I needed to make. She’s very sweet with my pups and I will most definitely work with her again.
