Dogs are very good at showing people what they like: their favorite toys, preferred routes, the speed at which they like to walk. It's easy to adjust to the dog's needs. I would also encourage your dog to explore new places during our walks.

I enjoy interacting with animals: cats, dogs, horses, even snakes. I make sure that they feel safe and comfortable with me, and I provide plenty of exercise when possible. I have a deep respect for people who are taking care of their pets, and I'm happy to help you with that. I have plenty of experience pre-Rover: as a child, I had a boxer dog, and I have an old cat now. My friends often ask me to walk and feed their dogs or take care of their cats when they are away.

Catherine was great! During our meet-and-greet, she took detailed notes and even brought some cat treats and toys to help connect with the kitties while we were still home. Even though it was a short trip, we could tell that Catherine really cared about the cats and went above and beyond to make them comfortable. We loved receiving all the pictures she sent, and were amazed that she was able to get both of our kitties—who are usually very shy—to come out and play when she dropped in.
