Dog Boarding Edgewater

Ian was very communicative from the beginning. He made sure to share lots of photos of my pup while I was away. My pup came home happy, healthy and exhausted. He had so much fun staying with Ian and playing with the other pups for a few days.

Justin is truly the best sitter! I was away for three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever been apart from Zen, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. I had a tracker on Zen, so I got to see all the fun adventures they went on together every day, and it made me smile knowing he was so happy and loved. When Zen was dropped off, he came back fresh, clean, and so well cared for. Honestly, it was like he hadn’t missed us at all! he was having such a great time that he didn’t even want to leave Justin! That says everything about the love, attention, and care given. Knowing Zen was so happy gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I would trust Justin again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend him enough!

Tarin is the best! Our baby can be anxious in new environments and he knew exactly what to do and put her at ease. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Marcos and Cinthia took great care of my pup when I was out of town. I had just gotten her 2 weeks prior and was nervous about leaving her. They sent pictures regularly and were very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Miranda gets my highest recommendations! First, she was kind enough in even considering quite a lengthy first-time stay over a holiday. We had a nice meet-and-greet, and I came away feeling that Oliver would be in pretty good hands. From the questions she asked me and a few of her comments about some of the other dogs she's watched, I could tell that she's familiar with quite a wide array of dog behavior and has been able to handle and adapt to anything that's come up. And she has a really nice place, with an open living area and furniture setup that's very conducive to dogs, so no worries there. And for me, personally, her location is really nice - we've lived in the suburbs the last few years, so Oliver doesn't get to see nearly as many dogs on our walks, so I really like that he was able to get much more interaction with Miranda being in the city. That she also works from home like I do was also a huge plus - since Oliver's used to me being in his house for most of the day, finding a sitter in the same situation was important to me. Just before the stay, a potential crisis was averted - Oliver got skunked the night prior to drop-off, and since I wouldn't have felt good about dropping him off in that condition, I let her know about it right away - Miranda graciously said she'd still be open to the stay if I was able to get most of the smell out. Thankfully I did two baths later, and at drop-off neither Miranda nor her roommate could smell it on him, so the stay was able to commence! All throughout the stay, I felt really good about Oliver being there. Miranda sent plenty of pictures at her place, on walks, with her roommates, and even fulfilled my request for a shot of Oliver in front of Wrigley Field! She was also very communicative about how things were going the entire time, which made me feel really good about the care and attention Oliver was receiving. There were a couple of issues that came up - one involving a component of his food that I forgot to include, and a bit of an unexpected behavioral issue - that she handled wonderfully. I truly couldn't ask for anything more from anyone! And pickup was a breeze - since it was a long stay, I left quite a bit of Oliver's things with Miranda, and everything was super organized and ready to go when I got there. And since then (two nights ago), Oliver has been completely pooped, so I know it was a great stay! All in all, from the pictures, texts, and seeing their interactions in person, I know Miranda really cared about Oliver's well-being the entire time he was there. Oliver and I were very lucky to have found Miranda - your pups will love her!

Amanda was great once again. Definitely trust her with my pup. This was the second time my dog stayed with Amanda and Sage was definitely excited to see her again. Amanda even gave my dog her meds for her ear infection.

We appreciate the daily updates/photos. Knowing that the boys were comfortable and enjoying their stay with Tammy made us at ease. She's super accommodating and patient.

Amy & Christopher (and their children) were great! It was the first time my dog has stayed with someone she didn't already know and she seemed to have a great time. I'd book with Amy & Christopher again in a heartbeat!

Coni was great! Esti seemed happy and I got photos and updates. Coni was calm and professional and clearly loves dogs. Would book with Coni again.

Sofia did an amazing job watching Lola for me! Lola can be quite a handful, and Sofia took great care of her. She sent photo updates, followed all instructions, and Lola came back a very happy girl! Will certainly be re-booking with Sofia the next time Lola needs to be boarded 🥰

Cagatay and Busra were awesome with June. They send us daily updates and June had a great time with them!

We left our dog, Winston, with Cheri for a weekend away, and it was a wonderful experience. We were a little nervous leaving him for the first time since he’s still a puppy, but Cheri immediately put our minds at ease. Winston was very well cared for, and Cheri kept us updated throughout the weekend with messages and photos. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Winston with Cheri again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter.

Matthew was excellent, flexible, and communicative throughout the whole process. He treated my pup with respect and care and provided updates everyday. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!

Darla and Greg and Shandy are the best! We have had our dog stay with them twice and he comes back refreshed and happy each time. They are so patient with dogs that are acclimating to a new environment and the updates throughout the stay are much appreciated!

Erick was top notch and we greatly appreciate his flexibility with drop off and pick up for the doggies. He was extremely responsive, shared timely updates, and was great about asking details on the routine that we had been using with our doggies. Looking forward to using him again in the future! :)

Ethan was a great sitter! They were very patient as Howl was a bit scared and overstimulated when we got to their place. They let us take our time going up. He sent pictures and Howl seems like he had a great time!
