Hi! My name is Vanessa. I have grown up with two white german shepherds, and I've become the go-to family member for petsitting. I am known for my patience, compassion, and reliability. I have experience teaching the family dogs regardless of their age the basic skills such as sit, lay, stay, and paw. I enjoy treating any dog as my own. From belly scratches to tug-a-war to going for a long walk, I am happy to do what your dog enjoys most! I live in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment (top floor of a 3-story apartment building with stairs only) with two comfy couches and bed for them to snuggle up on. I do have a roommate who is hesitant with dogs, so calm and trained dogs are preferred. If you have any questions don’t be afraid to shoot me a message and ask away. As of now, my availability is limited but please feel free to check in if you’re in need. I can be flexible or I can refer you to another sitter I trust!

She stayed at our home and took impeccable care of both Chico and the house while we were away, giving us complete peace of mind throughout the trip. She was so kind, friendly, communicative, and thoughtful, and we especially appreciated all of the updates and photos she shared while we were gone. It was clear Chico was happy, comfortable, and truly cared for the entire time. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can only hope we’ll be lucky enough to use Vanessa again in the future.
Vanessa was beyond exceptional from start to finish—from communciation, to her care for my pup. She was super understanding of canela's natural shyness and temperament, which made me feel really comfortable stepping away while she was in her care. Would look to work with her every time!
