About: I have cared for my own shared pets in past relationships and now serve as the regular dog sitter for friends who travel often for work. Dogs under 60 pounds are preferred as I am a smaller frame. I work from home full time and love to have a furry friend to take on walks and get me outside throughout the day. I can accommodate any schedule needs with this flexibility. I have a large patio for dogs who enjoy sun tanning and fresh air, and large windows for bird watching on the colder days. I live on a safe, tree lined street with lots of paths for walking and sniffing. I am happy to let dogs sleep anywhere, but would prefer to have a crate if I run out for errands.
“Roxy was amazing with our two dogs. She was kind, patient, accommodating and very communicative. Our dogs can be a bit of drama queens (guarding food, being reactive on leash) and Roxy took excellent care of them on the walks and in our home. We also had to make some changes to the schedule and Roxy went out of her way to meet our needs. I would highly recommend Roxy’s service! Thank you so much.”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I have experience giving medication, following feeding schedules, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I also enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. I’m currently a full time pre-nursing student and work PRN as a switchboard operator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.

Otherwise, please read below: After 8/19: I am available Mondays-Fridays mornings + afternoons + evenings until 9/15 when I begin graduate school. I am occasionally available on weekend days (Saturdays and Sundays) to walk or dog sit your furry friend, please refer to my calendar with the most up-to-date availability! I make sure my dog Casey’s bowls are full, take her outside whenever needs the bathroom, and make sure she gets good play time whenever she isn’t napping.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life and enjoy spending time with them! I have 2 dachshunds at my family’s house. I have also previously fostered kittens and older cats. I’m studying for my national certification exam, so I currently have lots of flexibility in my schedule. Would love to schedule lots of walks to be outside for often! I want your animals to be as comfortable as possible and would love to be able to stick to any routine you already have set up for them, whether that’s treats after walks or certain times they go in crates. I’m very flexible.
“Desiree! So fantastic. Really flexible, willing to help us out last minute. Spent a good amount of time snuggling, playing with our doggo when we introduced them. She's clearly in tune with animals and didn't show any fear for our big lug. Thanks, Desiree! You'll be hearing from us again. ♥️”

About: I've taken care of my family and friend's dogs for 8 years. I'm comfortable working with dogs with special needs as my own maltipoo went through spinal surgery and recovery. I'm currently working part time from home so my schedule is very flexible and I have lots of time to provide quality care for your pet. I have a fenced yard and live near Winnemac park for great walks. I also have a calm and friendly maltipoo to keep your pet company. I am an attentive pet owner and caregiver who will make accommodations according to your pets needs.
“Nicole was punctual, communicative, and great with our pup who instantly warmed up to her. Clearly experienced with a variety of pups. We look forward to using her services again!”

“Erica is AWESOME!! She made us feel super comfortable and I can tell by the photos that our dog was loving all the attention! Erica is very communicative and reliable. If you’re choosing someone - Erica is your gal! 😊”

“Valerie is wonderful! Her communication is top tier and my dog loves her already. She is patient with him and always makes sure to give him a full 30 mins of enrichment even on rainy days when he is hesitant to stay outside. She is the best!”

“Ragen is absolutely amazing! She walks my dog, Moose, twice a week, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Moose is a big guy at around 75 pounds, and Ragen does an incredible job handling him with confidence, patience, and care. She is always reliable, and I really appreciate that she sends pictures during his walks so I can see how much fun he’s having. It’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does and treats Moose like he’s her own. I always feel comfortable knowing he’s in great hands with her. I highly recommend Ragen to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog walker!”

“Rebecca has filled in for my usual walker (who has disappeared off the face of the earth) multiple times and is great! My dog got into the trash before she came over for the walk...and sent me hilarious pictures and even tidied up the mess a bit (definitely didn't need to but much appreciated. I will definitely go with her again!”

About: Animals have always been a special part of my life. My home has never been without something furry or scaled or shelled. In addition to caring for my own dogs and cats over the years, I have enjoyed walking dogs and doing dog sitting and cat sitting for many friends and neighbors. I am loving, reliable and safety focused. I am also conscientious to clean up any pet mess and respect your home. I am home based and looking to fill my days and my heart with animals. My kids are in school so my schedule revolves around dropping them off and picking them up in the morning in the afternoon. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how much you care about your fur baby. I love mine too. I take a very safe, loving and risk adverse approach to pet care. I will take the time to learn from you about your pet to understand the specifics of how you want care to be handled and will follow those instructions. I am able to do walks, water checks, feedings, play time and accident clean-up if needed. I am comfortable working with pets on skills that need to be practiced and am comfortable administering oral medications if needed. I also have experience with rabbits and turtles. I look forward to loving your pet.

“Maeve is always great to work with. She responds quickly to our requests and is flexible when we have to change our plans. She takes great care of our animals and our house. We will continue to use her services!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Center
Michelle has been giving midday walks to Bruno for several weeks now when I am away at work, and she’s been super reliable and attentive to any specific info I have provided. I booked the first walk when I was home so she could meet my dog first, as I was a little nervous about hiring a dog walker for the first time, and I could tell she’s experienced and good at calmly handling my energetic pup. This gave me some peace of mind. I’ll be happy to keep booking Michelle.
