About: I do take up to 3 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing, exercising and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. About: I’ve done over 60 sits since Jan ‘25. During this time, I’ve cared for many special needs dogs with health and anxiety issues, as well as all kinds of cats. I have a calm demeanor and patience while pets take time to feel safe around me. I tune into their behaviors to help me understand what they need. I’m attentive and love to cuddle and play. I wfh from 8am-4pm. My arrival and leave time from sits can be flexible, but need to be arranged around my job. I can do either overnight sits or check on pets daily. I care for pets in client's home only, following all the directions from pet owners on how to care for their animals. All my belongings are kept in safe places where the pets can't swallow anything or hurt themselves. I make sure there is emergency contact information available including a pet hospital, if I were to need it.

About: Animals have always been a special part of my life. My home has never been without something furry or scaled or shelled. In addition to caring for my own dogs and cats over the years, I have enjoyed walking dogs and doing dog sitting and cat sitting for many friends and neighbors. My 11-year-old puppy Shelby was having some pain and limping due to her arthritis acting up so we had to limit her activity and usual routine of staying at her friends house during the day while we work. I contacted Allison and she replied promptly. I explained all the little quirks my puppy has as well as specific instructions (use of harness when walking down stairs etc) I asked her to follow to make sure Shelby could stay pain free and safe. Allison never made me feel like I was asking for too much, she was kind and understanding. She gave us daily detailed reports of how Shelby was doing as well as great pics of their time together! Allison really helped me and my pup pass a difficult week in the best way possible!! Shelby seems to be doing better now thankfully but if at any point in the future we should need a helping hand I would not hesitate to ask Allison to help us out. Im super grateful for her and Rovers services!!”
About: My background is in training service dogs in training both as a foster for 5 years (some of my fosters are in the pictures on my profile) and working as a dog behaviorist at the nonprofit agency, 4 Paws for Ability, for a year. I was in charge of "support cases" for behavioral concerns that could influence a puppy becoming a service dog and many of my case dogs became fabulous flunkies as we figured out they didn't like working! I feel very comfortable navigating behavioral support (like jumping, certain types of reactivity, barking, pulling, stopping on walks, etc.). My goal is to set your pet up for success with clear communication if there are certain triggers or environments they would not enjoy while on walks to get the enrichment, care, and exercise they need. I've been housesitting/pet sitting since I was a kid and have been so lucky to love on dozens of cats and dogs over the years through references, Rover, and Trusted Housesitters. I'm comfortable administering medication, navigating elderly animals, dogs working on potty training, young animals and everything in between. Sometimes I'd even help the vets administer vaccines at the agency! I'm starting a Master's program in the fall and petsitting in Chicago for the summer and currently have open availability! Through July and August, I'm very flexible to last minute drop-ins and walks as I'm taking the months off from home/vacation sits. I am fully equipped to handle dogs throughout my years of experience being with a service dog agency and the training they have provided me.
