“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

About: I grew up in a family surrounded by dogs, my grandmother currently has 3 great danes and my aunt runs a pet sitting business that I sometimes help out with. I love working with your lil ones :) On weekends i usually go help with our family business of pet sitting but I know pet owners don’t always want to send their lil ones to a boarding place. He shared a bed with a sweet little dog who was missing a leg. Chachi likes the big yard to roam around; he's older so he does not play but he still likes the opportunity to go free in the fenced in yard. Ian can well accommodate little ones, big ones and handicapped ones all together for a nice time to be had by all. Ian offers food on time and often, sets out clean full water (I know other places that do not set out water the whole day) and he accommodates each individual dog's needs.”
About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. I will send you super cute updated images so you can see what fun your fur baby is up to :) . I also have a fenced small backyard incase your pup wants to do some light leash free jogging with me.
About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: I’ve had/been around/taken care of dogs most of my life, and eventually had one of my own. Looking to spend time with some temporary dog friends before I adopt another. I have years of experience with dog and cat sitting for friends and family. I have weekends open and love having dogs over! I have the occasional workout class or grocery run but stay home on days and nights when I’m boarding. I can't wait to bond with your best friend! Caring for pups is the main thing I do currently, other than driving Uber when I'm not booked, and some house chores or studying from home. I will be at home with your pups at all times and I will have plenty of free time to play and interact with them. We have a large porch and fully fenced back-yard with a large tree where all pups love to run around and play. If the weather is nice, we are likely to spend most of the day outside, either at home or Palmer's park across the street. We allow our pups and guest pups on the couches and beds. I make sure the pups get a lot of attention and interactions, and also some needed down-time.

About: A little bit about myself and my love for animals, (dogs especially)! Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets. Yet, I always seemed to house orphaned strays that I'd find, from baby bunnies to stray kittens. My love for animals has no end. It was so exciting for me when I rescued my first dog, Gizmo! My second dog, Oreo and my third dog, Brody. I honestly will say that of all the people I know, that I am definitely the soft hearted type. If I ever won the lottery, I'd have my own NO-KILL, RESCUE Dog shelter with a lot of open land for them to be...DOGS! I became a stay at-home mom in 2019 when our little boy came into our lives. I often find that housing a dog in my own home provides a sense of relief for paw-rents. Being a dog owner myself, I know that for me and my husband having our pooch cared for at home or in someone else's is a MUST! We are not fans of doggie day cares, but it is what we resorted to when there was nobody to call upon. We don't do that anymore because our dogs came back stressed and with questionable accidents. I have cared for 15+ dogs since 2014. We look forward to opening our home up to your furbabies! We live on the Chicago Riverwalk. We are a dog friendly neighborhood area, an added bonus for the furry visitors in our home! We have a gated area, so your pooch will be extra safe!! We also share our furniture with furry guests. This is a dog friendly home! Our dogs (Oreo/RIP) and Brody are great with other dogs, too! They love to play and know when to give a pooch their space. We love to get outdoors for at least 6-8 walks per day. We love fresh air! I'm looking forward to hosting your lovies in my home and giving them a Staycation they'll look forward to returning to, time and time again! I have references for anyone that would like that, too. I'm a stay at-home mom and always home. I am available to your dog on a daily basis. We like going out for at least 5-6 walks per day, for 20-30mins. (On hot days they are shorter).We get our steps in! All of our guests have free roam of our home. My home is their home. My dogs are welcome to coming up on our furniture or any of our dog beds. I have a basket of toys on every floor. This is a free roam home. Patio doors are open on all decks and the pups are free to sun bathe at their leisure. Cool water bowls are always accesible to my furry crew.

About: I have cared for my own shared pets in past relationships and now serve as the regular dog sitter for friends who travel often for work. Dogs under 60 pounds are preferred as I am a smaller frame. I work from home full time and love to have a furry friend to take on walks and get me outside throughout the day. I can accommodate any schedule needs with this flexibility. I have a large patio for dogs who enjoy sun tanning and fresh air, and large windows for bird watching on the colder days. About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.

“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”

“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”
“Sharon was fantastic with our bernedoodle. She was very responsive, took her on plenty of walks even when the weather wasn’t great, and made sure she got lots of fetch-her absolute favorite! We really appreciated the frequent updates and photos, and it was clear that our dog quickly felt comfortable and became part of Sharon’s pack. Her dog Berry was also incredibly sweet and a great companion. We’d absolutely book with Sharon again and highly recommend her.”
