About: Hi! I'm a seasoned pet caretaker with experience caring for dogs and cats, including puppies, senior pets, and pets with special medical or behavioral needs. I grew up with dogs and have been a petsitter, dog walker, and a pet foster mom for many years. I have experience training dogs, administering medication, and preparing meals for special diets. I know that every dog or cat is different, and I tailor my care to their specific needs and personalities. I provide the level of experience you can trust and the loving care your pet will enjoy! I work from home and have a flexible schedule during the week. When petsitting, I'm able to accommodate as many walks as your dog prefers and lots and lots of play time! I'm also free on weekends. I strive to keep your pet's routine and comfort level the same as if you were there. I know consistency is key to a happy cat or dog! For dogs that I board, I live right next to beautiful Winnemac Park, which pups really love (on a leash, of course). I do live in a third floor walk-up, so boarded dogs would need to be able to handle stairs, or be comfortable with/small enough to be carried. Also, please note: I have a full-time remote job. It's very flexible and leaves me with lots of time for walks, potty breaks, meds, feeding, play time, etc. But on weekdays I will need to be at my computer (including occasional 30-60 min zoom calls) throughout the day. On weekends, I will not be working.

“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”

Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”
