Retired Mom with Love for Dogs!
I have been watching dogs for over a decade, and I have now been on Rover for almost 2 years. I have many clients who trust and rely on me to watch their pups for long periods, even up to 3 weeks at a time! I know all the skills of being a full time dog owner with things like bathing, going to the vet, giving medicine, etc. Being an empty nester and stay at home mom, I have more than enough time, attention, and love to give to your pups! I love being active and going on plenty of walks, so that will not be an issue at all. Walking to the lakefront and 606 Trail, even in the winter, is something I do often with the dogs, and I am more than happy to walk with them the whole way or put them in my dog-stroller. I also live right near a park where there are always dogs running around and playing. I love to take the dog I am watching to the park to get some fresh air, be social, and explore! I also have a fenced dog-fetch area in my backyard to provide exercise for the dogs off leash. On the flip side, I also enjoy having a chill day watching some Netflix and relaxing with the dogs on the couch. I promise that your dog could not be in better care!

We're so grateful to have found Jiyeon to care for our puppy, Nellie! Jiyeon sent plenty of pictures and videos throughout Nellie's stay and she was very communicative with us throughout our time away. We did a meet and greet prior to Nellie staying with Jiyeon and Jiyeon showed us all around so we knew exactly what Nellie would be doing while we were away. We're excited to have Jiyeon as a future dog sitter for Nellie!
Jiyeon is really good about sending photos and videos of walks and hanging out. Pick up and drop off always smooth.
We had such a great experience with Jiyeon! She was able to watch Molly last minute after our original sitter canceled over a holiday weekend, and we are so grateful she was available. She took such great care of Molly, kept us updated throughout her stay, and sent us lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Molly clearly had a great time and was very well cared for. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely reach out to her again!
Jiyeon was wonderful with Bodhi! She sent so many updates, photos, and videos, and she was so responsive. I could tell Bodhi was happy and well cared for!
Our puppy Splash had the BEST time with Jiyeon! Jiyeon was very communicative and gave us a tour of her place when we dropped off Splash (her home is amazing!! It’s like a doggy resort—giant doggy bed couch, lots of area to play outside, lots of toys, very organized and clean!). During Splash’s 3-day stay, Jiyeon sent us lots of photo updates, which were much appreciated! My partner and I felt at ease knowing Splash was in great hands and having such a wonderful time. Definitely recommend!!!
Jiyeon is the best! We had her watch our 6 year old dog, Oakley for a week and Oakley had the best time. jiyeon sent photos and videos everyday which helped ease my mind! I knew Oakley was in the great hands and will be rebooking with Jiyeon again☺️ We also had multiple delayed flights when coming home and Jiyeon was very helpful and watched Oakley for longer than she was supposed. She made it a smooth process. Thank you, again! ☺️

I am an empty nester, retired mom that has plenty of free time to give exceptional care to your pups. I even sleep with all your pups in my living room to give them a loving, safe environment!

I have a fenced-in yard around the entire property with many gates installed. Additionally, there are many gates inside the house so the pups are always safe. I also make sure to feed the pets separately during meal times so they do not get into each others food.

A typical day
I love being active and going on plenty of walks, so that will not be an issue at all. I utilize the fenced-in yard as a ball-fetching area to provide exercise and fun times for your pups. - Let me know if your dog has any special behaviors. I've watched dogs with bad separation anxiety and difficulty eating, and I understand how it can be hard to leave your dog when they have these issues. I am very accommodating!
