Your Dog Will Love Our Back Yard!
My husband and I own a 2 flat in Lincoln Square. We both grew up with dogs in our families. In 2013, we adopted our own rescue pup. She LOVES to play with other dogs, and so do we! We are excited to welcome your dog into our home! We have a HUGE back yard (by city standards) that is a great play area for dogs. It is completely fenced. Pups are never left unattended while playing in the backyard. We both work a typical 9- 5 job during the weekdays so your dog will not have 24/7 supervision but don't worry we will make up for it with lots of love and attention during the mornings/evenings and weekends! We work from home most weekdays. Depending on what your dog is used to, we are willing to let them relax and roam free in our home while we are at work, or we can crate them if you (they) prefer. In addition to the back yard, we are always willing and ready to go for walks/runs around the neighborhood or at the park with your dog. Our rates are based per day (24 hour period). Please check our calendar for availability and then schedule a "Meet And Greet" so we can get things started. We do require a meet and greet for all first time guests. We cannot wait to meet you and your pup! As you can see from the photos, Shandy is always excited to meet new friends!

Gipper had an amazing week with Darla and Greg! As always, Gipper was so happy when we dropped him off. They sent us adorable pictures every day, and we were able to relax and really enjoy our vacation knowing that Gipper was being so well cared for and having as much fun as we were!
Darla and Greg took wonderful care of our dog while we were away on vacation. He is not particularly social and does not adjust easily to change, but they made sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed. They also shared regular updates, which gave us great peace of mind. We have trusted only Darla and Greg with our dog during vacations because they are reliable, flexible, and always easy to coordinate with. Darla and Greg, you are awesome—thank you!
I left my little guy for 12 nights and he was very well taken care of. Nice to have reliable care close to home!

Darla and Greg dog-sat my 11yr old collie/shepherd mix, Cooper, while I was away for the weekend. They were great at communicating, punctual and easy to work with! They sent pictures of cooper every day along with updates on how the stay was going. They really took a lot of stress off my mind knowing Cooper was in the hands of two total dog lovers. Cooper has a hard time on stairs lately and you guys went above and beyond making sure he was safe going up and down. Thank you again so much, would 10/10 recommend and use in the future!

Schedule
We work from home a most days so we are able to spend time with your pup during the day and take them out multiple times per day. Pups generally have play time in the yard at least 4 times a day before and after work on the weekdays.

We have a fenced in yard so dogs will mostly be off leash playing in the yard. We never leave pups unattended in the yard.
