About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have two family dogs, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’ve pet-sat and walked dogs for family and friends, and my family adopted a puppy a year ago, giving me experience with both playful puppies and senior pets who need extra care. I’m calm, patient, and reliable, but I also love helping dogs get their energy out. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, leash walking, basic medications, and cleaning accidents, and I’m especially confident working with smaller dogs. I’m a nursing student busy on Mondays and Tuesdays, but otherwise pretty flexible and available to give your pet plenty of attention and love. I always put a pet’s safety and comfort first. I stick closely to their usual routine and follow all care instructions so they feel at home. In a client’s home, I’m careful about doors, leashes, and keeping everything secure and tidy. I take a calm, patient approach, use positive reinforcement, and adjust to each pet’s personality and energy level. I also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands.

About: From a very young age I was surrounded by animals. I cared for sheep, pigs, horses, rabbits, cats, and dogs on a daily basis. Most of the animals were rescues so I'm comfortable with all personalities and have experience with those who may need time to warm up. My experience with dog sitting became more consistent while I was living in Seattle. Now that I’m established in Chicago I’m looking to meet more furry friends. I work part-time as an aesthetician so my schedule is very flexible. I’m currently working part-time so my schedule is flexible. On days that I have to go to work I will still be available to visit in the morning and at night. I want to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while making sure you are at ease during your time away from them. This means sticking to routines and learning their quirks. Is there a silly dance we have to do to get them to eat dinner? Send me the choreography. Do they prefer to be left alone but you’d like them to have some social time? I’ll find a quiet spot in the house and wait for them to decide if they’d like to engage. Is there a street we need to avoid because a neighbor has a reactive dog in the yard? I’ll be sure we walk the normal route and hit all their favorite spots.

About: I have cared for my own shared pets in past relationships and now serve as the regular dog sitter for friends who travel often for work. Dogs under 60 pounds are preferred as I am a smaller frame. I work from home full time and love to have a furry friend to take on walks and get me outside throughout the day. I can accommodate any schedule needs with this flexibility. I have a large patio for dogs who enjoy sun tanning and fresh air, and large windows for bird watching on the colder days. I live on a safe, tree lined street with lots of paths for walking and sniffing. I am happy to let dogs sleep anywhere, but would prefer to have a crate if I run out for errands.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my graduate degree from National Louis University. In My Client’s Home: When I care for pets in their own home, I keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding instructions, walk routes, play preferences, and any special care needs. I’m respectful of the home, reliable with timing, and make sure pets get the same love and attention they’re used to.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and personally have 2 cats of my own, so I have experience with both! In college I worked at a local humane society to help animals get adopted and after college I volunteered once a week at the local humane society to walk dogs and play/socialize the cats. I love all animals and know how important it is to have a trusted pet sitter for your animals. I work full time from home so have plenty of time for quick day time visits and don’t have to commute so am available to help after work while people are still traveling home. I spend my weekends with friends or at home with my cats so have weekend availability for walks or home visits. I know how scary it can be to trust someone else to care for your pets and love them how you love them. Safety is super important so I am always cautious to make sure your dog is safe on walks and home visits and that your cat is getting play time while also safely inside.
