About: I grew up with multiple dogs and have a cat now, so being around animals has always been part of my everyday life. I’m used to different personalities and energy levels, and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and basic grooming. I’ve also boarded dogs before, so I understand how to help pets settle in and feel safe in a new environment. What sets me apart is how attentive and patient I am. I really pay attention to small behavior changes and make sure to follow any instructions closely, because I know every pet has their own routine. I try to make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible while you’re away. I can’t board right now, but I’m very reliable with drop-ins and walks and will treat your pet like my own. My weekly routine is flexible, which makes it easy for me to commit to walks or drop-in visits consistently. I’m organized and reliable, so once I commit to a schedule, I stick to it. I try to keep things as close to your pet’s normal routine as possible. In your home, I’ll follow feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions you leave. I always make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention. On walks, I prioritize safety, a secure leash, staying aware of surroundings, and making sure your dog feels comfortable the whole time. For drop-ins, I balance playtime and attention with giving them space if they need it (especially for cats who like to warm up on their own time). Overall, I just want them to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up raising all types of animals including but not limited to cats, dogs, ducks, turtles, and hermit crabs. My experience includes volunteering at the Human Society in high school, and a current volunteer for One Tail At A Time. I am often the friend chosen to watch over my friend’s cats and dogs when they are out of town. Nothing makes me happier than visiting my fur-nephews and nieces who get time with the auntie who has the good gossip. I’m experienced in walks, good ol playtime, feedings and taking amazing pet photos to send to their owners. I understand the love and care that goes into having not only a pet but a member of your family. As a lifelong animal lover I approach animals with the respect and kindness they deserve. Your pet may see me as that lady with cute aggression in her voice, googly eyes, and keeper of pats and pets. They’ll be happy to know that I would love to play with them (if they want to haha) or if not we can hangout in peace. I’m cool with that too. My overall priority will be making sure your pet is happy, cared for and safe, just like a long lost friend. *I put my years of experience is as paid experience* I’m working part-time and for the most part flexible with time. Mondays I will be unavailable due to rec sports. I typically receive my work schedule two weeks in advance, and will do my best to work with you on scheduling. I am an experienced dog walker and live in a dog friendly area with many options around such as the 606, Palmer Square Park, and Thaddeus Park (to the north). If you’re looking for someone who likes long walks, that’s me! Experienced in specific dietary feedings of cats and dogs, litter cleaning and refilling, and play. Transportation - No vehicle, just a bike and/or my legs. Experienced in dog and cat behavior (via training through the Humane Society & OTAT).
