About: I’m a life long animal lover who has had cats and dogs my whole life besides the last few years while I raised my twins. My kids are now in school and I’m looking to do drop-ins and walks during the school day (11am-3pm). I volunteered with cats at Evanston animal shelter for several years. I have done drop-ins for cats and dogs through the years as well. My last pet, Mina, was a feral cat who needed extra love and care but slowly came out of her shell and thrived. I have also walked and cared for my friends and extended family’s dogs. I am a stay at home mom, and my kids are now in full day school, so I have time to spend with your pets. I am available from 11-3pm all weekdays except Thursday. I like being active so am looking forward to walks. I currently have no pets, so look forward to caring for yours. I can do drop-in visits and walks for your pets during the day. I have done drop-ins and walks for friends and family members over the years so feel comfortable with a range of animals. My home is not available for boarding.

Have a brand new puppy full of (too much) energy? I’ll take him to a park and let him play, and bring you back a sleepy puppy that won’t tear apart your couch. Got an older pup who moves a little slower? I’m happy to move at any pace(or lack thereof) your doggo needs. I’m an all around dog lover who unfortunately can’t have one of my own right now, so give me a chance and I’ll make playtime with your pup nothing but fun and personal care! I’m a student, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I can do most mornings and evenings, and am frequently available for mid day walkies and check-ins Every animal has their own unique preferences and needs. I’ve been around cats and dogs long enough to understand that what’s best for one might not be good for another, and I respect each animal’s preferences. That being said, I love a cuddly critter and will dote on your fur child if that’s what they like

About: - We adopted our dog, Olive, in late August '23. - My significant other's parents have a dog who we frequently sit for and walk. He is dog-reactive so I do have experience navigating walks safely with him. We also had experience taking care of their senior dog. - I grew up in a household with two cats and have experience cat- and dog-sitting for multiple different households throughout the neighborhood in high school. I am available on weekends though I do work full-time. My hours are consistent though aren't typical work hours! This is my usual availability: - Saturdays and Sundays - Monday and Wednesday mornings before 9:30AM and nights after 8PM - Tuesday and Thursday afternoons/nights after 4-4:30PM - Friday mornings before 8AM and evenings/nights after 6PM I am available to sit for your pet or take your dog out for walks! I have my own 2 year old dog, Olive, who loves every dog she meets. If our dogs get along and if agreed upon, she would love to join in on walks but does not have to!

I have full availability on Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends. No pets of my own at the moment so I’m very flexible when it comes to overnight care for your pet! I am fully available on Thursdays, Fridays and weekends to care for your pet in the form of visits and walking. However, I’m completely flexible when it comes to overnight care! While I cannot host your pet in my own home, I will make the utmost effort to respect your space and use it as you would like me to. About: I’ve been around pets as long as I can remember! I grew up with big dogs and sassy cats, which gave me a good foundation to watch friends and families’ pets as well. I find that my approach to pets centers around patience and play — I like to give them as much time as they need to express themselves, and I love to figure out what gets them excited to play! I am endlessly entertained by their personalities. I currently work from home and care for two little stinkers of my own (two cats named Simon and Marsh). I have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs, and I am comfortable with pets of all ages. I currently work part time from home! I am always available from 6-10a and after 4p. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am available all day. I’d like to incorporate a handful of walks and/or drop in visits into my weekly routine. I have experience walking a reactive dog so my safety practices default to that experience! In general, I avoid other dogs on walks (unless otherwise instructed by you!) to minimize potential conflicts. For cats, my number one priority is making sure they stay inside! I have two little guys who like to dash out any open door, so I’m always keeping an eye on them. I am also familiar with dangerous foods/florals for both dogs and cats.

About: Ever since I was 7, I've experienced life with animals— I've had reptiles, fish, cats, dogs, chickens, a guinea pig, birds, and even a pig. So I'd like to say I'm very familiar with all sorts of animals and can provide more than adequate care for your pet! I also have non-professional experience in training cats and dogs! As well as experience administering medication orally for cats (liquids and powders). I am currently home full-time and work remotely so I have fairly open availability. I am most available during the weekdays (M-F 7am-4pm); however, I am flexible with scheduling if your preferred time is outside of that so always feel free to let me know what's best for you and your fur-baby! (I am available rain, snow, or shine, unless it's absolutely insane/unsafe weather such as storms and floods.) For overnight care, please reach out 24-48 hours in advance. When I pet sit at another's home, I ensure that the environment is safe for the pet (i.e.: if the owner forgot to blow out a candle, there's loose string on the ground, etc) and that the pet has their needs met before I leave the home. If I ever have concerns or questions about things within the home or pet-care, I reach out to the client to ensure that I am providing the best care to their fur-baby.

About: I have cats and dogs since i was a kid and love their company so much! They will be safe with my Lulu and Ruffles. With the end of year holidays, I now have the possibility of taking care of our furry friends every day of the week without any problem. I'll be home all day, so they'll never be alone. I have a very friendly cat and a dachshund that likes to play with other dogs. We live on an apartment with safe closed yard.

“Shante is an amazing, kind-hearted and talented sitter! It was my first time using Rover. She definitely helped educate me on the process and was communicative throughout the stay taking plenty of pictures and sending updates on our two cats. You can tell she is a true cat person. Most importantly, it was clear our pets adored her. Each cat looked so relaxed and cheerful in the pictures, and when we returned home they seemed more relaxed then they've ever been after we vacation--even compared to when their regular sitter (my partner's sister) watches them. To me, this is what really justifies having a pet sitter, knowing your beloved animals are being well cared for in your absence. If I could, I would give her 6 stars, especially for any home with cats!”
