Hi! I’m Melissa, a 27-year-old social media coordinator working from home in Chicago. I’ve been pet sitting through Rover on and off since 2019, but I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for years before that as well. I’m very comfortable with pets of all personalities and always try to meet animals where they are, especially when it comes to affection, trust and personal space. I know every pet is different, and I never want them to feel pressured or uncomfortable. I have pets of my own, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for them. I’ll always treat your pets with the same love, patience and respect I’d want for my own because they really are part of the family! I live right by Winnemac Park and would especially love to connect with families nearby for dog walks and cat check-ins.

Schedule
I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible throughout the week and I’m able to fit in walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I live right by Winnemac Park, so I’m especially available for pets in the surrounding neighborhood and can usually accommodate morning, afternoon or evening visits depending on the day.
