I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager in England and have always grown up around them. Since moving to the United States, I really miss my family dog, so spending time with dogs here means a lot to me. I have experience with breeds including French Bulldogs and Akitas, and I’m comfortable with different personalities and care needs.

Niamh is an incredible sitter! We were visiting from out of town, and she even offered a virtual meet-and-greet before we arrived, which immediately put us at ease. From that first conversation, I knew our Golden Retriever would feel right at home with her. Throughout the stay, Niamh kept us updated with photos and messages, and it was clear our pup was having the best time. She was so attentive, caring, and genuinely loving toward our dog, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were traveling. We'll absolutely be reaching out to Niamh the next time we're in Chicago. We couldn't recommend her more highly!

Niamh was the sweetest with my pup! I last minute needed to bring him on a work trip to Chicago and she instantly put me at ease, knowing we wouldn't be able to do a meet n greet beforehand. From the video call, to dropping him off, Niamh was very communicative and provided updates throughout the day. Highly recommend her if you are in the Chicago area or traveling with your pet and need someone reliable to watch them!

Schedule
I offer flexible, reliable availability seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. I am the co founder of my business and work from home. I don’t have any other responsibilities so I am happy to tailor my schedule to suit your dog’s needs and routine.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I provide a calm, clean, and secure home environment where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements to ensure they feel safe and well cared for. I don’t have a yard but next door to our apartment is a dog park so there is green space nearby.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs, whether it’s with toys or fetch in the park - whichever they find most enjoyable and comfortable. I try to get dogs outside as much as possible.
