R.I.P Dobby you're my inspiration ❤
I started Rover wanting to still give out that puppy love I had for my childhood dog Dobby who passed away. I grew up with him and not having a dog around makes the house feel very weird. Showing dogs love and affection while their owners are gone sounded like a great idea and honestly, its been lots of fun! As a Mom of two little girls, we go out quite a lot. We usually go out 3-4x a day. Esmeralda is 6 now and is experienced with reading dogs body language and behavior. She very sweet and gentle, might give your dog a hug or even a kiss. Esmeralda enjoys giving treats when they sit or give paw so expect your dog to come home with a treat or 2 in their belly. Sofia is barley 1 yr old and she doesn't seem to give dogs much attention yet which is why I can't watch over hyper dogs, to avoid any accidents. I also have regular clients as well as in and out traffic from time to time so please friendly dogs only. Eckhart Park is right up the street from our house. There's also fenced area next door where Esmeralda rides her battery powered bike, perfect for playing ball with our 30 foot leash. At home I'm loaded with toys, poop bags, dog bowls and treats but if your dog has something special feel free to bring it. Please advise if there's any medication or dieting. I do have experience with senior and disabled fur babies. My husband and I switch off so there is always someone home. If there's a long errand that needs to be made, I'm aloud to bring your fur baby to my office which is super close to Larrabee Dog Park. Don't worry about your baby being lonely or unloved, we will care for them as our own and send you lots of pictures. Please message me with any questions. Used this rover a few times and she has no respect for your time. Would always let her know when I was about 5 minutes away for pickup/dropoff. Despite that I would always be waiting outside for her for a minimum of 10 minutes. The final straw was when I had a 6 am dropoff that she confirmed a week prior. The morning of she completely ghosted me and I ended up missing my flight. A week later I still haven’t heard back from her. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable.
Thank you Barbara and family. Amazing hosts and Bailey was so comfortable and well taken care of, even cleaner coming home:) we look forward to Bailey staying next time.
Barbara and her daughter were so great with my dog, Valentino. I could tell he was getting extra love while away from us ❤️ Would definitely recommend them!

Barbara took GREAT care of my pup, sending a few vids during the sitting. And I could tell he had a great day, was tuckered out, as he usually is when he's been active. Very appreciative of her care, especially on such short notice.

Schedule
Morning walks are done while Esmeralda gets ready for school between 6-7am. I make sure everyone is fed breakfast before heading to work. My husband goes for the afternoon walks around noon-1pm. I'll come home for dinner and evening walks. Later my husband takes the last walk of the night. They will not miss a meal or a walk and will for sure have fun if I have others dogs in. If my husband needs to run errands during the day, I am aloud to bring your fur baby to work with me. Larrabee Dog Park is down the street.

Safety, trust & environment
I've taken care of different dogs with different needs and personalities. I make sure they take their meds or vitamins. I have food toppers for picky eaters, Bones and kongs for anxious chewers, and a 5 gal water dispenser to ensure your fur baby stays hydrated. Of course lots of cuddles and belly rubs! I try to have your dog feel as welcomed and at home as possible. I do have a large dog pen and a gate to section parts of the house in case there is an issue with another dog (which I haven't had to unless its feeding time.) All dogs get fed separately to avoid any issues.
A typical day
We'll be going on walks at Eckhart Park. With your permission we have a 30 ft leash we can use in the field. There's a small track by my house and we also walk around the neighborhood to enjoy the sun and fresh air. With your permission, Larrabee Dog Park is not far. Love playing ball & tug of war and like any dog lover we like to pet them all over!

- I will be having a other dogs over. Please let me know if your fur baby can be territorial with toys or food. Do they chase birds or small animals? Are they table or counter surfers? Do they go through the trash if not being watched? Are they very food motivated? Not deal breakers but I want to ensure both our and your dog's safety. Any breed, as long as they're not aggressive or unpredictable.
