“once again SO grateful for Joerg and Lake taking Luna in!! they watched her over christmas and even got her something to open for christmas morning since they always have something for their pup that morning too. they take such good care of her every time she stays with them and she is always so tired from all of the playing with their dog Lizzy! she has had some issues with eating recently and when she ran out of the chicken breast I brought for her to mix with her food they gave her some wet food to help her stay interested in eating and even gave me a package of the same kind to keep mixing in once we were back home. Joerg and Lake are stand up humans and I am so grateful any time Luna gets to stay with them!”

“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

About: Hi! I'm so excited to hang out with your pups (and cats)! I work from home, so am looking for some adorable furry friends to keep me company and keep active throughout the day. I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and miss having them around. My family owns 2 Cavalier King Charles that I visit and babysit anytime I have the chance. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have been cat-sitting since childhood. I have a fenced off patio and live near several dog-friendly parks. Because I don’t have any pets living in my house, Rover has been the best way to hang out and play :) I currently work from home most days of the week (I have the option to work from home at any time). Happy to do overnight sitting as well. Given my experience with dogs who require special care, medical attention, and social/behavioral attention, I follow directions from owners to a T. I nannied for 6 years and worked in behavioral treatment, and treat all of the pets I watch with the same care as any child I worked with. I send updates often, never leave dogs outside unsupervised (but do have a fenced in patio), and can fence off open areas of my house as needed. The bedrooms are carpeted, but the main common areas are hard wood.

About: I have experience with small puppies, high energy furry friends, and senior dogs who need extra love and attention when getting around. I am very active, and love taking dogs for walks and to go play/ get outside time. I love creating a calming space for any guest that comes through so that they feel comfortable during their stay I currently work from home almost 5 days a week, so I will be home most the time to have around the clock care. I love to keep things on a schedule (please provide if there is a specific one you follow) to keep the pet(s) on their regular routine that they would expect. I have a relatively large studio that is about .25 miles from a medium size dog park. I am more than happy to crate your dog, but tend to follow the lead of the owners routine. I am not super picky about having dogs on my furniture so I can leave that to owners discretion

“When Juan and Don agreed to dog sit for my dog in their home, it was shortly after he was diagnosed with a serious disease. BJ was sick and needed constant supervision and exercise. Juan and Don were wonderful with BJ and their communication about his day, activity, needs and health were detailed and reflected the care and concern as if BJ were their own. Although BJ passed away within a month, I am not sure they will ever know the comfort and security they gave me to be able to go to work and not worry about my dog. To care for a sick dog says volumes about Juan and Don's character as people. I cannot say enough great things about them.”
