About: I grew up with family dogs and have had mine since he was 8 weeks old (he will be 17 years old this August!). Experience with puppies through senior dogs. Large breeds and small! Would love to take care of yours. I work full time from home, so I have ample amount of time to hang out with your pups (no matter the age, dogs are forever pups in my eyes!). I have an almost 17 year old pup who naps most of the day but is always excited for his walks! I live in a low traffic area and just down the street from a fenced grass area we play in. In case there’s rain, I have a covered area to take the pups out so they still get some fresh air.

He accepted our request last minute and was incredibly understanding of my situation. From the beginning, he genuinely wanted to help, which meant so much to me. Ruben was so kind and even offered to show me his place beforehand and clearly explain how everything works while he dog sits. He communicated so well throughout Tsuki’s 3 day stay and consistently gave me updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. One moment that really stood out to me was on the 3rd day when I realized I had forgotten to pack Tsuki’s food. I was already feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and Ruben immediately offered to feed her rice and chicken. It may seem like a small thing, but it genuinely meant so much to me in that moment and really showed me how willing he was to help and make sure Tsuki was taken care of. You can genuinely tell that Ruben cares about the dogs he watches. The way he talks about them and the way he gives updates felt so genuine. You can tell that he really takes the time to get to know each dog, pays attention to their needs, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. It was clear to me that his care for Tsuki wasn’t just because she was staying with him it’s genuinely how he treats the dogs he dog sits for. Ruben is such a great guy with a kind heart and a really good attitude. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and support he gave Tsuki and for how reassuring he was throughout her 3 day stay. About: I’ve have ample experience raising dogs- though now I find myself a cat mom of 4 haha! I’m originally from Houston and would volunteer at the rodeo and shelter pretty adamantly. I’d enjoy my time advocating and caring for animals at the shelter and spay/neuter pop up events for those in need. In my neighborhood I managed to TNR over a dozen colony cats in my area and was able to send a couple young ones to happy homes :) Additionally, I have my Fear Free Shelter certification and am CPR and First Aid certified, too. My motto has always been there are no bad pets just sticky situations and certain accommodations we need to make to keep them at peace.
