About: Hi! My name is Monica and I recently graduated from Indiana University. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I was in college, I fostered through local animal shelters, which gave me experience caring for animals with all different personalities, ages, and needs. I’m also currently a volunteer at the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago, where I help care for animals and support the shelter. I work from home, so I’m able to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. Your pet will never be left alone for long. My dad is also recently retired and home most of the time, so there’s always someone around to give extra attention, playtime, and care. I have a small Yorkie named Tucker and a cat named Penny. They’re both very friendly and used to being around other animals. Tucker is great at matching other dogs’ energy (whether they want to play or relax), and Penny is very calm and tends to mind her own business. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away! I recently graduated from Indiana University and am now back home in Chicago full-time. My dad is retired and home all day, and I spend most of my time at home too, so your pet will always have company and attention. I’m not super busy and genuinely love being around animals — it’s the perfect setup! I have a private, fully fenced yard and never let pets outside without supervision. My home is spacious, and pets are welcome to relax anywhere they’d like. I also have a 2-year-old, 4.5-pound Yorkie who mostly keeps to himself but is always up for a little playtime if your pet wants a buddy! I’m happy to crate your dog at night if you prefer, or they’re welcome to sleep with me — I’d love that too!
“Gabriel was an excellent dog sitter for Walnut. He was attentive, patient, and very professional throughout the entire experience. He communicated clearly, provided updates, and always confirmed details, which gave me great peace of mind. Walnut seemed very happy and comfortable with him, and it was clear he genuinely enjoyed spending time with Gabriel. I truly felt that Walnut was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Gabriel and would love for him to continue sitting for us in the future.”

“Ashley was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure that my dog was comfortable with his stay at her house while I worked. She was very communicative, made sure to have full understanding of his care, and gave him lots of love! From the moment I dropped him off, I can tell she really cares about the pets she and her daughter care for, when I picked Echo up at the end of the day, he was so sad to leave! I’ll definitely be booking with Ashley again! :)”

“Jennifer took great care of Kashi. I got plenty of pictures and videos for his one day daycare stay. I picked him up and he was in great spirits. I would definitely use her again!”

“Timothy is our puppy’s favorite sitter (and ours too!). It’s clear he really understands and empathizes with dogs of all ages and sizes. We’ve had multiple stays at Timothy’s place, and every time our dog comes home happy, well-cared for and occasionally having made new dog friends! We especially appreciate the way he handles our rambunctious labrador puppy- calm, kind, and confident. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in good hands. We’re grateful to have found him, highly recommend!”

“We had an amazing experience with Bobby’s daycare! E took excellent care of him, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. Bobby came back happy and well-exercised. We truly appreciated about her attention to detail and care. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and loving daycare for their dog!”

About: What sets me aside from other sitters is the love i have for animals. Since i was a little girl I've always loved being around animals they were and still are very therapeutic to me. I've had big dogs from Pitbull's, Dobermann, American bullies, all the way down to tiny dogs; yorkies, shitzu etc. even different kinds of cats you name it. As I've gotten older I've gained sooo much experience to the point I've had at home births with my dogs and cats all by myself; even home training my own animals as well. My goal here is to gain a work related reputation where i can truly start doing what i love and make a name for myself until i can become that super Veterinarian I've always dreamed of being. So far all i have is personal experience with dealing with animals at home and at my job(My residents animals). This would truly mean a lot if i can show off my skills and how genuine i am with animals and even people. Pet Care currently fits for me during the week days. I work doubles every Saturday and Sunday; whereas for school i do online Vet courses which is self pace. Which means i am free during the week Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm if communicated at least at least 30min-1hr in advanced i could stay later if needed. Although, I am a mother which means i can not do any services past 7pm nor any over night services. I also am located downtown Chicago but I am willing to travel!! One thing about me i will spoil your baby(s) haha; I am very hands on and affectionate with animals unless they require space lol. I have never been a crate animal person BUT i know every household is different and every animal requires different training. Again, animals bring a lot of joy to my heart; very therapeutic for me and if given the chance you wouldn't be disappointed i promise!.

“I have known Monica and Calvin for about 2 years now and they have been truly amazing, caring, kind, and professional to my dogs! I had a fluctuating schedule so had to keep communicating with them to make arrangements and I really appreciated their understanding and flexibility. Most importantly, they shared a report card at the end of the day with pictures and short summary and they were all very helpful. Thank you so much always!”

“Diamond is an amazing sitter! She truly cares for the dogs she looks after and keeps you at ease with regular updates. My Leo came back home so tired and happy-which says everything, and he honestly didn’t even want to leave her place! Her dogs are wonderful as well and got along perfectly with mine, which made the whole experience even better. Diamond is reliable, punctual, and clearly passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

“Katrina was amazing with our Charlie! He's a high need dog with separation anxiety, medication and is a senior. She made the who experience comfortable for us and him. He came back to us calm and happy. I really appreciated how communicative Katrina was. She really goes above and beyond. Highly reccomend!!”

“I was looking for daycare for my dog and am happy to have found Tamara! She’s great with communication and has been flexible which has been very helpful. And my dogs tail is always wagging when we walk up.”

About: I’ve taken care of or have had animals since I was a child. Currently I have a cat named Ida who is very sweet & affectionate. I’m a grad school student & interning as a hospital social worker Monday, Wednesday, and a half day Friday. I have availability Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday. On my free days, I can prioritize your pets needs! My environment is animal friendly. I have a fenced in back yard and live near a park. I have a cat named Ida who is welcoming to new animals inside our home. I allow animals on my bed and furniture.

“Vick is the best! Flexible, easy to communicate with, super nice, dependable, thoughtful, and caring! Best of all, he treated my old, anxious, nearly blind dog with kindness and expertise. She really loved staying at his house. It's obvious that he really loves and understands dogs. He's an amazing dog sitter. Thank you!”

“Will was great with our dog, Olivia!!! He sent pictures checking in and was very responsive- our girl seemed like she had the best time!! We will definitely be reaching out again next time we need a sitter!”

“David took such amazing care of our baby!!! He is still a puppy and I was nervous about who was going to take care of him for 3 days while we work in Chicago. I needed someone to be with him the whole day and not leave him alone and he even reached out to his brother to help him when he needed to leave. My dog clearly loved him because every day that I would drop him off he would get so excited to see David. He kept me updated with photos and notes about how he was doing, which I appreciated. I will 1000% leave my dog with David again if we are back in Chicago! Thank you SOO much!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs (small mostly) since I was 11. I grew up with two chihuahuas and am currently fully in love with my mom’s current weenie dog. I’ve fostered 3 small/medium dogs in the past 2 years and am trusted with my friends and families dogs for walking and sitting. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and am usually home most weekends (unless I’m traveling). I’m able to be home with the dog and take on walks for most of the day. I live less than a block from Harrison Park, so I will be able to take the dog for a walk and some exercise daily. I also happy to lounge on the couch and bed with the dog if they need plenty of company and rest. Dogs are little fur babies to me and they will be the royalty in the home. Be prepared for many pictures.
“Amy provided exceptional care for Maeve during her time at daycare. Maeve had an amazing time playing with her new friend Frank, and Amy treated her with the same warmth and attention as if she were her own. I highly recommend Amy and look forward to booking with her again!”

McKinley Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was our puppy’s very first sitting experience. We needed a sitter for a few hours during our trip to Chicago. From the moment we arrived, Zuma jumped right into Rachael’s arms, which immediately made us feel that she was experienced with dogs and had a calming presence. He seemed to feel safe and comfortable with her right away. It looks like he was able to relax and enjoy his time there. We would definitely recommend Rachael to other pet parents.

Yasmine was wonderful with my very energetic dog. Her own dog is well-behaved and serves as a great role model for other dogs. When my dog came home, he was happy, tired, and completely content, a clear sign that he had a fantastic time. She lives close to a large dog park where dogs can run, play, and burn off their energy while having the time of their lives. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog with Yasmine and plan to do so regularly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter and excellent company for their dog.

Jennifer took great care of my two dogs during their first boarding experience. As first-time boarders, I was a little nervous, but Jennifer made the whole process easy and reassuring. She kept me updated regularly with photos and videos, and always let me know how the dogs were doing. It was clear that my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay. Jennifer is responsible, communicative, and genuinely loves animals. I really appreciated the attention and care she gave my dogs, and I would not hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommended! Thank you, Jennifer, for treating Turbo and Boomboom like your own pets! We truly appreciate everything you did for them. 🐾💙

Betsy took such wonderful care of Maeve during daycare and made us feel completely at ease from the very start. She is patient, attentive, and truly understanding of Maeve’s needs; it was clear how much she genuinely cares about Maeve’s comfort and well-being. Leo is such a great companion as well, and we love that Maeve has a new friend in the neighborhood! Maeve came home relaxed, happy, and so well cared for, which says everything. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust Betsy again without hesitation!

Amazing sitter, we travel for work so our girl meets new people often. Evee was visibly excited to get to Rafael’s and tired when we got her every night! With an active dog breed this is a dream! He took her on runs and gave her plenty of love! I would leave my baby here worry free anytime and definitely recommend to anybody else!

Timothy is our puppy’s favorite sitter (and ours too!). We’re grateful to have found him, highly recommend!

Michael was awesome with our two dogs, Lex and Libby, who aren’t the most well behaved. He went out of his way to stay away from other dogs when walking them. They normally don’t warm up to people quickly, but by the end of the day they were both getting lots of well accepted pets from Mike. We wouldn’t definitely ask him to watch the dogs again.
