“We moved to Chicago just a few weeks before a two week trip to Australia, so needless to say we were a bit worried about leaving our cat. I got in touch with Nicole before we even moved and she was great right from the start. Throughout our trip, she sent pictures at least twice a day and was very communicative. She asked if her boyfriend could stay with her and since we were gone for two weeks, we agreed to that. They stayed at our apartment for two weeks and treated both our cat and our apartment with care. You could barely tell anyone had stayed there when we got back. I also left them a novel of instructions and they followed it all (although I could've been more clear on how many treats he should get, he got spoiled!). As soon as she got to our house at the start of our booking, our anxieties about leaving our cat were gone. Can't recommend booking Nicole enough.”

About: I’ve taken care of or have had animals since I was a child. Currently I have a cat named Ida who is very sweet & affectionate. I always strive for a 5-star experience, but my top priority will always be the safety of the pets in my care. I chose to refuse a request to take a cat outside without a harness, as the flight risk was far too high. It resulted in a low rating, but I will never compromise an animal's safety. I just graduated with a Master’s of Social Work. Before beginning my career, I’m taking some down time and taking care of animals. This gives me the ability to prioritize your pets needs! My environment is animal friendly. I have a fenced in back yard and live near a park. I have a cat named Ida who is welcoming to new animals inside our home. I allow animals on my bed and furniture.

We received lots of updates and pictures while we were away and came home to a very clean apartment. Our dog seemed very satisfied with all the walks and playtime which he needed. About: I’ve worked with young kids and dogs for years. I babysit and petsit in people’s homes and I have trained my seven year old dog. I also have experience with cats and giving them space while letting them warm up to me. On weekdays I work full-time until 4pm and then I’m all free to play with your pets or feed them. Weekends I’m free all day to properly care for your pets. I have a fenced grass front yard and a 7 year old mini schnauzer if your pet is okay with socializing, but not necessary for house sitting or walking.

About: I love animals! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I currently work from home Tuesdays and Fridays so I’m available anytime those days for walking and play dates. I am available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after 3:00 and any time on the weekends. He brings so much joy and happiness to my life. Seeing his little faces everyday just puts a smile on my face! I will walk and care for you pet as if they are my own. I am trustworthy, reliable and always punctual so if you need someone to a walk your dog while you are at work, working late, venturing on a night on the town or just need someone to check in on them and play I am your girl. I will send pictures and videos to let you know they are in good hands.

About: I am trained as a Certified Veterinary Technician that has given me the skills and knowledge to provide safe, attentive care. I’m better equipped to recognize potential health concerns, handle unexpected situations, and know when a pet may need veterinary attention. I truly love caring for animals and meeting new pets, taking the time to learn their unique personalities and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I currently work part-time at a veterinary clinic four days a week. Your pet must be okay with being alone during normal work hours, but otherwise I can provide plenty of companionship, care, and attention. I do not offer boarding in my home, but I am happy to provide house sitting in your home. I will treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own, leaving everything just as I found it.
