About: I’ve always had a dog in my household and understand the need for love, play, and care. My parents have a samoyed and border collie, which are highly active dogs, and I make it my priority to spend time with them outside whenever I visit home. I’m currently unemployed so I’m available from 9-4 during the weekdays. I can also do weekends, but my schedule changes every so often but can be worked out! I have plenty of toys, trees, scratchers, and space to watch your pets. I do not use plug-in scents, candles, or any harsh cleaning chemicals.

About: I’ve taken care of or have had animals since I was a child. Currently I have a cat named Ida who is very sweet & affectionate. I always strive for a 5-star experience, but my top priority will always be the safety of the pets in my care. I chose to refuse a request to take a cat outside without a harness, as the flight risk was far too high. It resulted in a low rating, but I will never compromise an animal's safety. I just graduated with a Master’s of Social Work. Before beginning my career, I’m taking some down time and taking care of animals. This gives me the ability to prioritize your pets needs! About: Animals have always been a huge part of my family. Growing up we had dogs and cats that were central to our lives. We even rescued a possum that we raised for 2 years. Six years ago, my partner and I adopted our corgi, Pippin. He is truly my child and the household revolves around him. Pippin unfortunately has some neurological issues that we have worked diligently through, working with trainers, vets, and behaviorists to give him the best quality of life possible. I have become very attuned to dog body behavior and managing fear-based aggression as well as resource guarding. I also am familiar with finding a “job” for herding breeds and can teach different commands, tricks, and games. I am comfortable administering oral, eye, and ear medications. I have experience with everything from letting a puppy out in the middle of the night to helping my parents take care of their large breed senior dogs. While dogs are more center stage in my life today, I also have a lot of love for all cats, from cuddle bugs to independent hermits. I believe It’s important that we adapt to each individual animal’s needs and focus on setting them up for success. I have a flexible in-office schedule and can work remotely as needed with enough notice. I am happy to work from your home if a full pet sit is needed or drop by for walks and play, depending on what kind of care you’re looking for. I will follow the directions you leave for taking care of your pet in your home. Whether that means they have full roam or are crated at times, I’m happy to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’m also happy to get on the floor and play or go for a long walk in the afternoon or evening.

About: I’ve lived with dogs since I was little and have always had a love for animals! I now have a pet cat of my own and often pet sit for family and friends of mine.
