“Could not recommend Brianna enough!! She house sat for my cat Marvin while I was having surgery out of town and was super accommodating to last minute travel changes, gave great updates, and my apartment was so clean when I got back which made traveling a breeze! Already booking my next sitting :)”

“Nicole was an amazing caretaker for our Cane Corso. It wad the first time we left our pup with anyone else besides her regular sitter and we were at ease the whole time. Nicole stayed in our home and provided video and photo updates throughout the day. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Emily — a dependable and caring animal lover based in Chicago. I’ve had medium to large dogs my whole life, so I’m very comfortable handling different energy levels, personalities, and needs. I also volunteer at PAWS Chicago, where I spend time caring for and working with dogs of different temperaments. This has given me experience reading dog behavior and helping them feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I currently don’t have a dog of my own at home, which allows me to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for and be flexible with scheduling. My family dog Bella likes to come for a visit here and there for a few days in a row. She will not be with on our walks or home visits. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, or just some company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very responsive, detail-oriented, and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to make the experience stress-free for both you and your dog. Feel free to reach out with any questions — I’d love to meet you and your pup! I work in education so during the school year Monday-Friday I am free after about 4pm. I open on the weekends. During June-August I have a free schedule I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment whether I’m in your home or out on walks. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walking, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced with medium to large dogs and comfortable handling different energy levels and personalities. I prioritize safety on walks by using secure leashing and staying aware of surroundings, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also very communicative and will send regular updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.
“For a first time Rover user, I was a bit nervous to have someone stay at my home as well as look after my little buddy. With in the first 5 minutes of speaking with Jade, my nerves were completely gone. She is kind, soft spoken and professional. My condo was perfect when I returned and my boy blue (who struggles with anxiety) was happy and wondering where his new friend went! Thank you, Jade. I will be going with her again!”

“Connie was communicative and easily bonded with our dogs! She also sent pictures of them! I felt comfortable leaving my dogs with her and knew they were in good hands. Thank you for taking care of our dogs! Came back to happy puppies!”

About: I have lived with my best friend’s 3-year-old dog for the past couple of years and love to take care of him anytime she’s away - I have always wanted a dog of my own so I take my dog aunt duties very seriously. I also helped my parents raise their puppy, who is now 1 years old and by far the favorite child. I’m currently a student on summer break, so I will have plenty of flexibility to work with your schedule and time needs. Since I am not otherwise employed I am able to give your dog my full undivided attention. I live on the second story of a spacious Chicago three-flat with two dog-loving roommates and a small 14lb playful dog who loves to cuddle.
“Elizabeth is always so great with my dog! I really appreciate the consistent pictures and updates while I’m gone, it really puts my mind at ease. This is my second time having her house sit and both times have been amazing!”

About: I love animals! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I currently work from home Tuesdays and Fridays so I’m available anytime those days for walking and play dates. I am available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after 3:00 and any time on the weekends. I have a Boston Terrier of my own name Jax – love him so much !! I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "fur baby". I couldn't imagine my life without Jax. He brings so much joy and happiness to my life. Seeing his little faces everyday just puts a smile on my face! I will walk and care for you pet as if they are my own. I am trustworthy, reliable and always punctual so if you need someone to a walk your dog while you are at work, working late, venturing on a night on the town or just need someone to check in on them and play I am your girl. I will send pictures and videos to let you know they are in good hands.
“Annie watched our French Bulldog, Fiona, for 7 days. It was also a holiday weekend which is a big deal. She did a great job with Fiona! She would send pictures and Fiona looked like she was in her element at home. I felt so comfortable with Annie taking care of Fiona that I didn't feel the need to check in constantly (which is a big thing for me). She also left the apartment just as clean as we had left it! She was great!”

“Allison is hands down the best pet sitter! We had her stay in our home over a long weekend with our two senior pups. She provided excellent communication and photos to keep us at ease while we were on vacation. The power went out in our home and she asked if it was okay if she took the pups to her place which had power. Of course we said yes, anything for her and our pups comfort. She is highly recommended and put this protective dog mom at ease. Thank you Allison for being so wonderful. Rizzo and Oscar appreciated your company and we appreciated your professionalism. ”
“Gabriela is great. Sent me pictures, followed all the instructions, very punctual and responsible. I have no complaints and would definitely ask her to take care of Babushka again if I am in need of dog sitter.”

“Lauren was great with our high anxiety dog, Bo! She stayed at our house with Bo, and she did a great job taking care of our house, watering our plants, etc. too. She communicated with us daily and kept our worries at bay. Her love for dogs was evident from the first time she met us and Bo. I would definitely recommend her and use her again.”

“Jorie was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover for an overnight stay, and she made the entire experience so easy and comforting. We met in person for a meet-and-greet, and she was incredibly friendly and truly engaged in getting to know my pup, which meant so much to me. I left detailed instructions, and she followed everything perfectly. She also left my home exactly how she found it, which I really appreciated. Jorie kept me consistently updated with texts, photos, and messages after every walk, which gave me so much peace of mind. Leaving my puppy is always hard, and the worry is real but Jorie completely eased my anxiety. I’m so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and kind. ❤️”

“Hunter was so amazing! When we arrived back home it was as if we never left. He provided daily updates and our girls were so happy when we got home. Plus he picked up all the poop in the yard which I appreciate so much!! Thank you so much Hunter!”

About: I’m a proud dog mom to two sweet pups - a 6-year-old Pomeranian and a 1.3-year-old Shiba Inu. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I’d be happy to walk, play with, and care for your dog, giving them the same love, attention, and kindness I give my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I plan my days around walks, playtime, and quality care, so your dog will get real attention, not just a quick visit. I’m flexible and reliable. I treat every dog like my own. I always follow the owner’s instructions, keep dogs safe on walks, and make sure they feel calm and comfortable at home. Your dog’s well-being comes first.
“Kexin was great with my pup! She was very communicative and asked many questions to make sure that my puppy was properly taken care of and happy. She is super sweet and I would absolutely recommend her!”

“Jayden always does such a phenomenal job with my senior cat. My kitty is rather incontinent and very old, so naturally it is difficult to leave her with many people, but Jayden always treats her so well. They always ask specifically what my cat needs, keep me well updated, and my house cleaner than I left it. I never feel like I'm bothering them when I text and ask for updates. They really understand how hard it can be to leave your pet and that makes it so much easier to relax on vacation. Jayden is the only pet sitter we will use!!”

Bridgeport pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mairead was fantastic! She was so good with my dogs and sent me tons of pictures and updates. My dogs can be a bit anxious the first day with a new person and she handled it perfectly. She was so good about questions if something came up and letting me know how the dogs were doing each day. I never worried that my dogs were in the best hands!

Anni was amazing with our two dogs! She truly went above and beyond for their care—even taking a trip to the vet to pick up medication for our anxious dog. She was so patient and kind with them, I cannot think of anyone taking better care of them in our absence. Cannot recommend more!

Lauren was a DREAM! My partner and I have lived in Chicago for almost a year and haven't went out of town together yet because we were nervous about someone new taking care of our two girls. One is a bit finicky. At the first meet-up, the finicky one started loving on Lauren almost immediately. When we were finally out of town, Lauren sent us so many pictures, gave us consistent updates, and seemed to listen to every instruction we had to the detail. She also did an amazing job cleaning up after herself, where our house was spotless and she took out trash and such (we didn't ask this of her!) for when we got back. To top it all off, Lauren is one of those people you meet who just has a kind soul. We are so thankful we found her and will definitely be giving her a call first the next time we have a trip planned!

Donatella did an AMAZING job!! Not only was she fantastic with communicating, I could tell she is truly a dog lover and she went the extra mile. She sent great pics and updates, and went above and beyond with keeping my velcro dog happy and entertained while I was away. I have been looking for a sitter like her for close to a year since moving into the neighborhood, and I really can't recommend her enough!! Thank you thank you thank you Donatella!!!!
