“Strong communicator and sweet energy with my pets. I was nervous about hiring a dog walker and Mariam helped put me at ease by demonstrating her trustworthiness.”

“We are very grateful we found Mike! He is great with our two large dogs and has worked hard on keeping us updated on their walks, and working with them on listening better while walking. He is very responsive and respectful of our home, and we look forward to working with him again.”

“Netiya is a wonderful dog walker! She came over to meet Guapo the night before his walk just to make sure she knew all his quirks! He is a 80 lb Olde English Bulldog and I get very nervous whenever he has a new walker because he has behaviors that need correcting (eg pulling, occasional dog aggression, etc). She was wonderful with Guapo and has a ton of experience with bigger dogs. Netiya also watched my friends cat before and my friend said she did an excellent job. You can tell that she cares a lot about all of her clients and puts a lot of thought into her interactions with your animal. And as a bonus she sends the best pictures! If you're in Bridgeport / the surrounding area and looking for a walker or pet sitter look no further!”

About: I grew up with two dogs who are now over the rainbow bridge. . Two Yorkshire Terriers named Buddy and Beary! Many of my friends have dogs, and I grew up around dogs of all sizes and breeds. Additionally, I had a senior medically challenging cat for about 8 years. He recently passed on January 3rd, 2023. He was the love of my life and I did all the things needed to care from him. I have experience administering medication both orally and through shots, giving fluids subcutaneously, and giving animals hygiene care. I am adaptable and willing to work with any animal. I am able to bathe, walk, feed, administer medicine, and play with your pet. I am available mostly on weekends and in the evenings during the week after 5pm. I am a high school science teacher who loves to explore the world with curiosity and loves all things, especially animals and science. I am hoping to get some extra income for the holidays and summer! Rates are flexible, just trying to get started with Rover! I am a high school science teacher and trying to boost my income as well as play with some animals. After losing my cat, I enjoy the company of all fur babies. I will treat the pet as my own. At my home, my home had to be adapted around my cat. As a senior animal he had step stools , multiple litter boxes that are cleaned daily, and a specific diet and medications that take time to administer. I will happily meet your pets needs as best I can.
About: While I do not currently share my life with a dog of my own (it's a matter of being unable to adopt every dog I lay my eyes on!), I dearly love helping pet parents keep their dogs happy and healthy and preferably in their own homes while their owners are away. I love to travel, and love to spend time with as many dogs as I can possibly fit into my day. You can often find me chatting with others about their animals, and I am always interested in hearing about every little detail. I enjoy helping people get a greater understanding regarding the welfare of their animals, and sometimes bore my friends with random and obscure dog breeds, and what I know of their temperament and behavior. I'm proud to say I try to research as many breeds as I can so that I know what to expect, and hey, it's always fun to just know why and how a breed came into existence! I happen to also be studying veterinary technology, for the knowledge of nutrition and behavior, since surgery is more information than I want. :D I am also very happy to drop by or stay with your cats, and am quite used to the varying personalities of these small creatures: the ones who like to play hide and seek, the aloof, the playful, and the grumpy. I don't mind at all, as long as the cat is comfortable, eating, and using their litter box, all is well! I can work my day around your dog or cat, as I am a dedicated sitter, and much prefer to spend my time enjoying the company of cats and dogs as much as I can. I much prefer to stay with the dog or cat in their own home, as having their familiar surroundings help them remain peaceful, happy, and comfortable.
“I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care Chauntrell gave my pup while I was away! From the moment we connected, he was communicative, kind, and clearly passionate about animals. He sent daily updates, photos, and even little notes about how my dog was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. Chauntrell was so patient and gentle with him it didn’t take long before he was completely comfortable and excited for their walks. He treated my pup like he was their own, and that means the world to me. I highly recommend Chauntrell to anyone looking for someone dependable, loving, and professional. I will absolutely be booking with him again in the future! Thank you again for everything my friend! 🐾❤️”

“Andres has been absolutely amazing! He has been amazing to work with. My pittie mix absolutely loves going for his walks with Andres. He is always on time and very professional. Would highly recommend.”

“Annie is an absolute dream. She is friendly, courteous, and responsive. I never worried because I knew she was taking good care of them. My older dog has random health issues and Annie would always alert us to any changes and check up on him afterwards. Omar is great! He’s walked my dog a few times and will be watching both my dogs while I’m on vacation next week. He’s responsive and friendly. He’s on time. He follows all my instructions and was great with my dogs. I’m looking forward to having him as my permanent sitter!! 10/10 recommend.

Annie is an absolute gem. From day one, she’s been kind, reliable, and so clearly passionate about animals. My dog Mabel lights up the moment Annie walks through the door — she quite literally sprints to her leash! Annie has such an intuitive way with dogs; she understands Mabel’s quirks, matches her energy, and makes every walk fun and enriching. Her communication is excellent — I always get thoughtful updates and the cutest photos that capture how happy Mabel is. It’s such a comfort knowing my pup is in caring, capable hands. Annie doesn’t just walk dogs — she builds real connections with them. If you’re lucky enough to book her, you’ll quickly see why Mabel and I trust her completely. She’s the kind of walker every pet parent hopes to find.

Great dog walker. I hired Janiyah to assist with dog walking while I am working long hours and she has been so so helpful! She has been trustworthy entering my home, following my directions with my pup, & making sure that she gets in great walks while learning new things. Would definitely recommend.
