About: If you're looking for an experienced pet caregiver who cares about the health, safety and care of the animals she looks after, you're in great hands. I have previously worked for Houston Dog Butler where I cared where I focused on cat sitting and dog walking. I will learn about your pet's personality and quirks before we develop a lasting friendship together. I will, without a doubt, give the upmost care for your loved one. I’m currently full time pet-sitting on Rover and have plenty of availability throughout the weekdays and weekends. Send me a request and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible! ❤️ As a cat parent to two myself, I know it takes time and patience to get most cats to warm up to you and I love to learn each pet’s individual quirks.
About: I grew up with cats and Golden Retrievers and now have 4 Boston Terriers and 2 new kittens, who are my whole world! I am also an approved dog-walker / caregiver for Chicago Animal Care and Control, trained in their strict techniques, so I am comfortable caring for, walking, and exhausting small to large dogs. Currently working part time, so have lots of time to dedicate to your pups! I am mostly available for walks during weekdays: Mon - Fri, 9a - 5p Happy to care for your pup where they are most comfortable, in your home! Even if you have a fully fenced yard, you can trust that I'll never leave them unsupervised and unleashed, outside. If you do not have a fenced yard, we will have lots of fun getting our steps in, around the neighborhood! Comfortable getting your pup in and out of crates/kennels if needed, and getting them harnessed up for walks. Will *always* pick up any and all poop your pup leaves, whether in your yard or on our walks.

I’m patient, reliable, and attentive — making sure every pet feels loved while their owners are away. Expert in freesbie, fetchies & tug- I have a working breed at home so very familiar with their requirements. I currently work a full time job with plenty of flexibility which includes working from home. I am able to provide walkies/check-ins Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Weekends can be arranged upon requests ahead of time. At my house, walks and play time are typically structured and we always have a paw clean up routine when returning home. When someone is caring for my pet, I love to get photo updates as I’m sure all pet parents would. I have a good amount of experience with reactive/nervous pups and especially on walks so I’m aware of how to handle triggers. Attentive to outside factors- other dogs garbage/food on the floor, etc

About: I have been a proud dog mom for the past 9 years, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life! I live a very active lifestyle and truly believe our pets deserve to enjoy that same energy, whether that means a long walk, playtime, or simply getting some extra love and attention throughout the day. Over the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs and have regularly dog-sat for friends and neighbors. I recently moved to Chicago and am excited to bring my love for dogs to Rover! I’m especially comfortable with big dogs and high-energy pups who need a little extra exercise, structure, and attention. My goal is to make every pup feel happy, safe, loved, and right at home while they’re in my care. 🐾 I manage & teach at a Pilates studio so my schedule is pretty flexible! I am also a very early riser 🌞 I also have a car, so transportation will never be an issue. Communication is the most important part of caring for your pet! I’ll make sure we’re aligned on your dog’s routine, needs, and preferences, and I’ll keep you updated throughout their time with me. Your pup’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.

I do work a full-time job, so I only have specific hours I can sit/walk. I do work consistent hours, so I am more suited for a regular schedule to help support you during your work or school hours. I am otherwise flexible and do not mind plans being changed the day of, just please clear the time with me prior to scheduling! I cannot keep pets in my home due to lease restrictions. I am happy to sit and feed pets at your home, or just keep them company. I don't mind watering a few plants here or there either!

About: i’m patient, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. i take the time to make shy or anxious pets feel safe and comfortable, and i adjust my approach depending on their energy level and needs. i’m also very reliable with routines and communication, so you can trust your pet is getting consistent care and attention. pet care is part of my everyday routine, as i currently care for two kittens with consistent feeding, cleaning, and play schedules. i’m used to planning my day around their needs, so incorporating additional pet care is something i can do reliably & consistently. when caring for pets in a client’s home, i focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. i follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific preferences your pet has. i take the time to understand each cat’s personality—whether they’re social or more independent—and adjust my approach so they feel comfortable in their own space. i also keep the home tidy and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, mainly my own, but I’ve also taken care of friend’s and family friend’s dogs in these past 3 years, so I understand the anxiety or fear of leaving a part of your family in the care of someone that isn’t you and won’t treat your pet like you will. That’s why I always adjust and accommodate my services to every pet’s needs. When it comes to basic care of pets, I always take puppies and dogs on walks at whichever time of day that they need to go out, always making sure to bring snacks and water so they always stay hydrated and healthy. I make sure they have enough playtime inside and outside so they don’t get bored and are entertained. I understand that not every dog wants to play or can’t move too much, so I of course adjust these activities to accommodate every pet’s individual needs so they’re always comfortable and happy. I also have experience with senior care, specifically giving dogs the medicines they need at the intended hours of the day or night. It goes without saying that my main priority are the pets in my care so I also make sure to always check up on every pet at different hours and times, rarely leaving them out of my sight (while also keeping my distance if they’re resting) to ensure they’re always okay. I work part-time remotely since I finished university in March of 2024. So I have no issues with times and days that will work best for you and your pets! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to! I’m simply there to ensure every pet is taken care of while also having time to play and give them their space, after all, it’s their home and they need to feel the most comfortable and safe in their own space.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brighton Park
Melissa is the best🩷 — we absolutely love her! She is so sweet with my baby, spoils him, takes amazing care of him, and always keeps me updated on how everything is going. My favorite part is that she’s always sharing videos and photos with me! She even plays with him and makes little blanket forts 🥹 We can truly tell she does this with so much love for dogs. She always goes the extra mile. Thank you so much, Melissa!✨🤗

Melanie was new to my dogs, Leo and Gigi, so I was a little nervous at first—but any worries disappeared immediately. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely kind, and my dogs clearly felt comfortable with her right away. Melanie was so gentle and attentive, always following their rhythm and needs. She also provided thoughtful daily updates after each walk, which gave me total peace of mind. It was clear Leo and Gigi were in great hands, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
