About: Ive worked with animals throughout my youth. First experience working with animals outside of my home was at a doggy day care in the south side suburbs of Chicago. I worked with small dogs and soon took responsibility of larger dogs, and moved into grooming. I worked alongside the owner with socializing and transitioning boarded dogs to be comfortable in kennels for overnight stays. I loved this job and wanted to turn it into a career at the time. I later volunteered at animal shelters and have always been my friends and family first person to call to babysit their pups. This summer I have taken a step back and left my full time job and am out of school. I currently work part time at a restaurant with a liberal and flexible schedule. Before leaving my job, I considered going back to the shelter with the intention of fostering, till a friend recommended how my lifestyle may better accommodate an app like Rover. Work with variety of animals and breeds and more-so be on call and work with owners who share a love and care for their pet. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a fenced in backyard and generous sized porch on the main level of my building. There are no stairs necessary to enter my home. Besides myself I live with a rabbit who has free roam to my home. When boarding or having in-home visits with your pet I will keep my rabbit separated at all times in my spare bedroom. My neighborhood is dog friendly and I’d have 24/7 supervision over the safety, comfortability, and happiness of your pet!
9. Montserrat J.
“I have witnessed how caring and loving she is when taking care of pets, she treats them like they are her own. She's always gone the extra mile to make sure they are comfortable and loves taking them on walks so they can get some fresh air. She's always been responsible with pets especially making sure they eat on time and have their water bowl always full.”
10. Lisette S.
“I hired Lisette to walk and care for my 6 year old golden retriever/pit bull mix rescue dog Lucy whenever I would go out of town for business. Lisette is the daughter of my co-worker, the first time she met my best friend Lucy, Lucy was a bit standoffish due to her being uneasy around strangers. After a few hours Lucy loved Lisette and felt comfortable around her. Lisette would care for Lucy for 2 weeks every month while I was away, she would send me daily pictures of their walks or when they were just hanging out. Sometimes Lucy wouldn't want to leave Lisette's apartment. Although I don't travel as much I still employ Lisette to walk Lucy just so that Lucy can see her good friend Lisette. I definitely recommend Lisette to care for your 4 legged friends. Lisette would also watch over my 3 year old cat Benito. Although Benito does not need much maintenance Lisette always makes time to play with him and ensures he eats his food. Lisette also recommended for me to add water to his wet food to ensure he drinks more water for health reasons. I cannot recommend Lisette enough, she is good at what she does, I have also recommended her to other friends who do not have time to walk tbeir 4 legged friends.”
11. Alyssa L.
“Alyssa's first day on the job was not an easy one, (it rained!) but she took care of my dogs superbly! She was on time and available at a moment's notice for a second walk. I have a special needs dog and Alyssa worked really hard to make his day a good one. I have her booked permanently.”
12. Yanely O.
“We love Yanely! She was very responsive with my request, confirmed she understood instructions (my building is a labyrinth), and became fast friends with my giant dog. Will rebook Yanely every time her schedule can accommodate us! Highly recommended.”
13. Cristian S.
“Cristian is great! We needed some help with lunchtime walks 3x a week for a couple months after a foot surgery, and we feel so lucky to have found Cristian. He is super communicative, took great pics every visit, and wrote up thorough notes about our girl. He is super patient with our high energy girl, and would even jog with her on some days to tire her out! We highly recommend Cristian and will definitely be reaching out to him in the future when we need a dogwalker!”
14. Serenity N.
“Serenity was flexible and kind! My dog was happy to go with her on walks.”
15. Kabura K.
“Kay is the best dog walker and dog sitter! She takes care of my pet with ease! On time and very caring and works from home so no conflicts in schedules”
16. Cassie H.
“Cassie was excellent with our dog Meatball! She was very loving and caring with him and he can’t wait to see her again! She was very flexible working with us so Meatball could get the proper care while we were on vacation! Very dependable, clean and caring, we would definitely recommend her!”
17. Pam P.
“Pam was amazing! She bonded with my Husky Leo quickly and he bonded with her. She took the best care of him and was very timely with her arrival. I am so glad I found someone trustworthy and reliable to take care of my Leo.”

I have the patience and love for animals. I am currently home full time- working from home! I give my dog Samson (Alaskan malamute/ German shepherd.mix)2-3 walks a day and lots of yard time. I like to live an active lifestyle with Samson I usually do morning and evening walks/jogs (can do quick walk around the block or if high energy dog a few miles in morning I like) I have a safe and fun environment for your pet with lots of toys, treats and cozy beds for naps and bedtime. 19. Ewan G.
About: My childhood dog was Yorkie named bam bam, yes like the flintstones. All my life I’ve been caring for all sorts of beautiful animals, dogs especially. Each dog as a personality of their own . I’ve always taken care of family dogs, from big pit bulls to chihuahuas. I only work three days a week , and am a full time nursing student. Currently my classes are online so I have plenty of free time on my hands. I enjoy the outdoors, it is a good way to take a break from stressors. I have experience with caring for older dogs and those that might require a little extra attention. I do have some experience with caring for dogs that might require basic medications in pill forms. I love all dogs , and caring for them as if their my own family.
