My pet care journey began at age 12, when I started dog sitting for my aunt while she was out of town. From then on, I knew caring for animals was something I genuinely enjoyed. I don’t just walk dogs or feed cats—I build real connections with every animal I care for. My approach is rooted in patience, attentiveness, and understanding each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet companionship, I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe and loved while their people are away. I also prioritize communication with pet parents—daily updates, photos, and check-ins are always part of the package. I currently have a sweet gray cat named Nala, but I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs—and I can’t wait to share my care and attention with more of them!

Melanie was new to my dogs, Leo and Gigi, so I was a little nervous at first—but any worries disappeared immediately. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely kind, and my dogs clearly felt comfortable with her right away. Melanie was so gentle and attentive, always following their rhythm and needs. She also provided thoughtful daily updates after each walk, which gave me total peace of mind. It was clear Leo and Gigi were in great hands, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Mellanie was great! I was so worried having to go on a work trip after a forced move due to a building fire but she navigated the mess and clutter so wonderfully to help give Mimi all the attention she could need. Highly recommend!!

Mellanie has been an excellent caregiver to our dog and cat. She is very attentive to their needs and doesn’t ever rush the job when she comes over. She talks to them and spends real quality time with them each visit. Our dog Tarzan and cat Flash love to see Mellanie when she comes!
