About: My first cat's name was Princess. I had her for two years and was even present when she gave birth to her first litter. Unfortunately, we had to part ways when my parents decided to separate. About: I have been a dog parent for the last 13 years. I have experience with dogs with disabilities (I live with a three-legged baby, Mabel) and leash-reactive furbabies. As a sitter, I have taken care of all kinds of dogs but prefer a nice temperament if a dog comes to my home so he or she can get along with my own dogs. I am knowledgeable of dog training techniques and are observant of dog behaviors. I work from phone so your dog will rarely be alone. They will have consistent use of the yard throughout the day (under my supervision, never alone) and will have playmates in my two female dogs, Iris and Mabel (both very playful, mid-energy, mild temperament, zero dog/toy/foodnaggression, spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines). I work remotely so I am usually home. My two dogs are super friendly and love to play. I am also able to separate dogs if needed with dog gates while still allowing for all dogs to be comfortable! I love dogs so it is very important to me to provide everything they need while their parents are away. I live with two dogs myself and they are my life, and I will treat your dog in the same way. As a dog mom who has used sitters in the past, I understand the importance of respecting my client's home and only spend time on site as needed to take care of your angel. My goal is to be the person I would trust to take care of my own doggies (and my expectations of sitters are *pretty* high). Lastly, I am very detailed in following rules and care instructions, no matter how irrational your friends tell you they are. My care instructions for my own dogs is 4 pages long; I understand. About: I grew up taking care and even sitting some of my mom's friends dogs. In my teens I would take care and sit a few family members dogs. I then volunteered at a puppy adoption center in Mexico. I live with my partner, Mike, who also has grown up with dogs, and we’re looking forward to adopting our own one day. We are an active and outdoorsy couple especially in the summertime, and enjoy going for long walks in the neighborhood, parks, or by the lake. Nitya works from home during the week and goes for a couple walks throughout the day, so she would love to take your dog out as needed. Mike is home Friday-Sunday so we’d also love to spend time with your dog together on the weekends. We have a small two bedroom apartment, with an open living room and kitchen. Your dog could spend time with Nitya in the apartment during the work day. There’s a fenced backyard between our building and the garage/coach house in the back, so we can always pop down there at anytime during the day or night. Our building neighbors have indoor cats, and there are a few alley cats that pass through the backyard occasionally. For walking, we are just a few blocks away from Harrison Park, and a about a 20 minute walk to Dvorak park.

About: I have had dogs ever since I was a kid, I had a high energy yellow lab before and now I have 2 pitbull mixes and one of them is deaf. I use to volunteer at PAWS Chicago a few years ago, so I have been trained with reading a dog’s body language, deescalation tactics, and dog safety measures! I currently am focusing on my education which is fully remote via online. So, my schedule is open unless otherwise stated in the calendar. You let me know what your beloved pet schedule is and I will include them into my schedule if I am not already booked. I have had my previous dog rusty since he was a puppy, so I have had first-hand experience with potting training, teaching them how to sit and stay, and have experience with high-energy dogs. I now have 2 pitbulls / mixed breeds. One since a puppy and the other since 2025 when she found us and ran at me from a alleyway. The alleyway dog "Joy" is deaf, so my experience includes dogs with little to no hearing. I will take your dog out on walks and give them all the pets and attention they want. If they want to play fetch outside, I will do that at a local dog park or in the yard, whatever you are most comfortable with.

It goes without saying that my main priority are the pets in my care so I also make sure to always check up on every pet at different hours and times, rarely leaving them out of my sight (while also keeping my distance if they’re resting) to ensure they’re always okay. I work part-time remotely since I finished university in March of 2024. So I have no issues with times and days that will work best for you and your pets! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to! I’m simply there to ensure every pet is taken care of while also having time to play and give them their space, after all, it’s their home and they need to feel the most comfortable and safe in their own space.

As a freelance farmer, educator, and researcher, I make my own schedule and I am able to flexibly adjust my routine for most pet care needs. I am at the farm 3-4 days per week and home on other days. My days are generally structured around animal care. I start with my morning chores, making the rounds for each pet and farm animal. Through midday I balance my research and freelance work with any of the pets' daytime needs, and in the evening again I do the rounds for closing chores. I genuinely love to structure my day around animal care! It helps me to balance my routine and remember to pause and be joyful. I live in a large one bedroom apartment with an unfenced yard, and I work with an urban farm that has a fenced-in city lot. If your oet loves the outdoors, we can go to the farm every day! We always have tasty treats available and love to practice tricks. Ill always be attentive to your pets dietary needs if treating or feeding. I have crates available for up to 35lb dog. I worked in a dog hotel and a dog kennel which both took cats and dogs So I know how to interact with both, How to introduce myself to them, giving shots and medication if needed.
