“Lizbeth is a life saver! She was able to help me take care of my 10 year old German Shepard at a last minute notice and she took such good care of him. She kept in constant communication and send pictures with updates and how my dog was doing. She went out of her way to take very good care of him and I came back home to a happy doggo. She’s highly recommended and I will definitely be using her services in the future.”

“Kelso was great watching my 12-week old puppy for the day! I was worried because it was our first time leaving him with a sitter, and Kelso rally put us at ease and took great care of him. Would recommend and use again for sure!”

“Jade was wonderful and loving with our dog and respectful of our home. This was our first experience with a dog sitter. It was amazing and we would definitely have Jade sit for us again!”

“Nicole is so sweet and communicative! She was quick to respond from the first message I sent her inquiring about her availability. She took good care of our pups and would be happy to have her watch our girls again!”
“Annie watched our French Bulldog, Fiona, for 7 days. It was also a holiday weekend which is a big deal. She did a great job with Fiona! She would send pictures and Fiona looked like she was in her element at home. I felt so comfortable with Annie taking care of Fiona that I didn't feel the need to check in constantly (which is a big thing for me). She also left the apartment just as clean as we had left it! She was great!”
“Nicole is a wonderful pet sitter. She is caring, diligent, and honest. She has sat for us 7 times this year, and each time she has gone above and beyond to care for our beloved 12-1/2 dog. You will have a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE if you hire her.”

“Kat is an unbelievable pet and house sitter! Our senior dog has cancer and she provided the most compassionate care. Our house was cleaner than we left it! We are thankful to have found her.”
About: I grew up in a household full of pets and have been lucky to live with people who also own pets, sharing the responsibility. Over the years, I've taken care of many dogs and several cats, rodents (guinea pigs and hamsters), hermit crabs, and fish. I have mostly owned small dogs and have been lucky to see them mature into their senior years, so I am familiar with the unique challenges that can come with age. I do feel comfortable walking and caring for dogs of any size. Right now, my family is fostering two 6-week old puppies who need lots of attention and care, so I am learning a lot about puppies. While I haven't yet charged for my services, I have been trusted by friends, family, and community members since I was 15 to pet-sit and house-sit. I graduated from college a year ago and have been bouncing around a lot, working ground control at music festivals. Between festivals, I need a place to stay, so I am especially looking for house-sitting opportunities to spend my time and have furry friends keeping me company. Other than sits and drop-ins, I'm not working, so I can give your loved ones the time and attention they deserve. I am big into travel, so I've met and lived with animals around the world. I've volunteered at shelters in the Bay Area, SoCal, and Louisiana. I was most recently living on a horse ranch in Georgia (the country) and took care of 2 farm dogs and a kitten. They were very independent and mostly required food, water, and serious cuddles. On the other hand, I've watched pets of various temperaments that had strict diets, medication schedules, and mental and physical health needs. I know every animal is different, and I'm happy to do all I can to care for yours just as you would. If your pet needs to sleep in bed with someone at night or other specific requests, I can do that. I will also be exploring Chicago for the first time, so if your dog has any favorite parks or routes, I would love to know!
“Kexin took great care of our 10-year-old lab mix, Theo, providing frequent updates while we were on vacation. She was really on top of everything, suggesting a meet-and-greet with Theo right away. She asked great questions about how he interacts with other dogs/people on walks, whether he takes medicines, etc. I could tell right away she has plenty of experience. Our boy was in great hands :)”

About: Hi. I have over 20 years of experience work with animals, especially dogs. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experienced with ages from 8 weeks to over 20 years. I can help with sitting, boarding, walking, cuddling, playing, the list can go on an on. For boarding I currently have no pets of my own at home as in the last year my 2 loved dogs passed at the ages of 19 and 20. I’m currently working from home so I can go out for potty breaks every couple hours and walks every 4 hours. Feeding will depend on your dogs needs and routine. I care for other just as I care for my own pets, with love, caution and safety. My home and yard are safe and secure.

“Such a sweet and amazing sitter! Super communicative, caring, and made me feel completely at ease the whole time. My dogs were so happy and well taken care of. Would absolutely book again!”

“Xena loved her time with Andres. I was regularly updated with pictures and always felt like Xena was well cared for. I came home to a happy pup all thanks to Andres. Highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend Aleisha! Aleisha stayed with our baby at our home for several days. During that time, we got lots of photos updates. It was evident our baby was happy and comfortable! Aleisha was also respectful of our home. We will be using her services again in the future!”

“Cristian was perfect with Mochi! The meet and greet was super helpful and he was super easy to communicate with. He sent me multiple pictures and videos throughout the day to keep me updated. If I am ever back in town, I will definitely book with him again! :)”

“Elizabeth took amazing care of our dog and our home while we were away for a wedding this weekend. She is a great communicator, updated us every day on how our dog was doing, and our dog was in great spirits when we returned! We will definitely ask her to watch our dog again in the future and would highly recommend to a friend.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a child. I’ve loved animals since I can remember and I am very passionate about their wellbeing. I have experience with a variety of breeds and with senior care. I have not had a a dog in my home since my 17 year old chihuahua, Taco Bell, passed away last year. He was my heart and with not having a furry friend at home any longer any chance I’ve gotten to interact with any pup since has filled me with so much joy. Pets are family and I will care for yours as if they were my own. I’m just getting started on Rover and my schedule is very flexible. I can work my day around your pet and their needs. If you choose me as a repeat sitter I will gladly adapt to your pets schedule. I care for others pets as if they were my own. I’m currently unable to host pets in my own home but I will gladly take care of your baby in the comfort of their own home. Being in a familiar environment will help your pet feel more at ease and comfortable. I will be mindful and respectful of your space while I am there. I will follow whatever routines you have in place for your pet to ensure their peace and happiness.
“Ava was wonderful with our 3 pups. She knew how to manage their chaos and treated them so sweetly. She left the place looking great and really just went above and beyond. We will definitely be using her services again.”

Brighton Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maniyah did an amazing job caring for my Yorkie, Major, while I was away. From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, patient, and genuinely caring. Major is very emotionally attached to me and normally takes time warming up to people, but he became extremely comfortable with her throughout the stay, which gave me a huge sense of peace while traveling. She consistently kept me updated with messages, photos, and videos, which I truly appreciated. I could tell Major was receiving attention, love, playtime, and comfort while I was gone. She also followed his routines closely and treated both Major and my home with care and respect. Overall, Maniyah made this entire experience smooth and stress-free for me. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, compassionate, and reliable to care for their pet. Thank you again for taking such great care of my little guy!

Cristian was awesome. Very communicative and asked all the right questions before booking and updated us frequently with what was going on with our dog. He went above and beyond and took him for an extra walk and feed when our flight was delayed for 4 hours. I’ll definitely book him again!

Honestly, one of the best sitters we’ve ever had from Rover. Without even being asked, she brushed my pup, took great care of my place, and he seemed so happy the entire time. She was incredibly attentive to his needs and sent thoughtful updates along the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Arsema. She was incredibly communicative, attentive, and genuinely engaged with our pets. It was clear she really enjoyed spending time with them over the holidays, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. Highly recommend!
