“Put simply: Kate is Great! Kate recently cared for our somewhat nervous (and quite energetic) rescue dog, our bearded dragon, and two parakeets for 10 days while we were visiting family out of state. She did a fantastic job and was incredible to work with on all fronts. She sent us regular pictures (and even a video) of our pets doing wonderfully and somehow managed to leave our house cleaner then when she arrived. She also deftly navigated a tricky situation in which our bearded dragon's basking light burnt out. We had some extra bulbs but they were buried in our basement. Through text Kate was able to find the replacement bulbs and save the day. This was our first experience with Rover, and Kate set the bar extraordinarily high. She is a genuine and kind person, and our dog, who typically takes some time to warm to new people, liked her immediately. Thanks for all your hard work caring for our furry, scaly, and feathered family members Kate! We're grateful to have found you on Rover.”

I’ve been trusted to feed them, take them outside, go on walks, play with them, check in throughout the day, and give them plenty of attention. My schedule is flexible, which gives me availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day and what you need. I’m available throughout the week and on select weekends, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. Jasmine monitored closely and took our pup to the emergency vet for us (the pup is fine 😊)… this was an unexpected snag that took a lot of time and care. This was our very first experience having an overnight pet sitter, and naturally, my husband and I were a little nervous about leaving our cats and our home in someone else’s care. Looking back, booking Christina D. was truly one of the best decisions we could have made. From our very first communication, Christina made us feel comfortable and confident. She is incredibly reliable, extremely friendly, easy to reach, and an excellent communicator. After speaking with her and then meeting her in person, we immediately felt that she was someone we could trust. She has such a wonderful way with animals, and it was obvious that their comfort and well-being were genuinely important to her. What impressed us just as much was Christina’s professionalism and attention to detail. She followed all of my instructions to a T, which was especially important to me because our cats have their own routines and schedules. I never had to wonder whether something had been forgotten or overlooked. Christina paid attention to every detail and respected exactly how we wanted our cats cared for. Her customer service is absolutely impeccable. She is attentive, responsible, considerate, and very clean and respectful of our home. Having someone stay overnight in your home requires a completely different level of trust, and Christina exceeded our expectations in every way. Most importantly, she gave us something that is priceless when traveling: peace of mind. For the first time, we were able to truly relax and enjoy our trip without worrying about rushing home, disrupting our cats’ routine, or constantly thinking about whether they were comfortable and being properly cared for. They were able to remain in their own home, follow their normal schedule, and receive the attention and companionship they needed. In fact, our experience was so positive that we have already booked Christina for our next trip! Knowing that we have someone this dependable to care for our cats has completely changed the way we feel about traveling. Instead of feeling stressed or guilty about leaving, my husband and I can now look forward to our trips and enjoy ourselves to the fullest, knowing that our cats and our home are in excellent hands. Allison was absolutely wonderful with our French bulldog and two cats. As protective pet parents, this was our first time leaving all three of them in someone else’s care, so naturally we were a little apprehensive. Allison immediately put us at ease by offering two consultation visits before our trip so she could thoroughly understand our pets’ individual needs, routines, personalities, and home environment. That level of preparation and genuine care meant a lot to us. Throughout our vacation, Allison was incredibly attentive and responsive. She arrived early and kept us updated with multiple messages and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she wasn’t simply checking in on our pets, but genuinely caring for them and making sure they were happy and comfortable. She even went above and beyond by offering thoughtful advice for our continued care of the pets, which we really appreciated. You can tell Allison truly loves animals and takes the responsibility of caring for them seriously. She also left the house tidy and in great shape. It was such a small gesture, but after coming home from a long trip, walking into a clean and tidy home made a bigger difference than she probably realized. We came home to three happy, well-cared-for pets and felt completely comfortable knowing they were in Allison’s hands. She helped make our vacation so much more enjoyable because we never had to worry about how things were going at home. We would absolutely recommend Allison and will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Allison, for taking such wonderful care of our babies and allowing us to have such a relaxing vacation. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Danielle was amazing with my dogs! She was very patient, caring, and attentive to their needs. She kept me updated throughout their stay and sent plenty of pictures, which gave me great peace of mind. It was clear they were happy and well cared for. Julia is amazing. She's taken our older dog on walks and she's housesat for us when we were out of town for more than a week. Our dog was so calm and happy when we came home from our trip-- it was clear that Julia made him feel so comfortable. And our house was just as we had left it. Julia meets our dog just where he is: when she saw that he didn't want to go far on walks anymore, she went at his pace and just stayed with him, showing more care and patience than we're often able to bring ourselves. She is a gentle and caring soul and we feel so lucky to have had her help!
We trusted Ann-Marie to care for our toy fox terrier Loki in our house for over a week. She did a wonderful job! When we got home, it was clear that Loki adores her—he was happy, relaxed, and sad to see her go. Ann-Marie adjusted perfectly to Loki’s schedule and sent us photos while we were away. She even took him on walks to new places that he loved. Most of all, Ann-Marie was a calm, reliable and trustworthy presence in Loki’s life for an extended period of time. We are extremely grateful. Gabriela has been amazing with our 10 month golden retriever puppy named Brinkley. She house sat Brinkley for 4 days, and has been super responsive before / during / after her house sitting. It was our first weekend away from him ever and she did a really great job keeping us updated and sending us photos. She made sure he was able stick to his normal routines and it was clear that he loved his time with her. We’ve already booked another house sitting with her and would trust Brinkley with her any time. She left our home in great shape and was a very courteous house guest too. 10/10 all around!
We went out of town for 10 days and Zoe took care of our two whippets, Sammy and Bleu. We got updates and pictures each day, and know they got at least two long walks daily (they have Fi collars, so we can see their daily steps). Zoe also took great care of our home and left it cleaner than when she arrived! I could not recommend her enough!
Anastasiia is so thoughtful and takes such good care of my dog Biscuit! Biscuit was injured and she handled her meds and routine with the utmost care, and even brought her a little toy to make her feel better. I am so grateful to have Anastasiia take care of my pup!
