About: I grew up taking care of family pets and have also loved sitting for friends and family over the years. I joined Rover in 2022 while in grad school because I missed having animals around and have been caring for dogs and cats since. Now I work from home and have lots of flexibility in my schedule for care! . What sets me apart? Your pet’s experience: a safe, calm, and of course, fun time. I’ll take the time to learn their quirks, shower them with plenty of love, and make them as comfortable as possible while their human is gone. I don’t have any pets and only take on one Rover client at a time so I can give your pet(s) the dedicated, individualized care they deserve. I also work from home and have lots of flexibility in my schedule. This means less stress, sticking more closely to the routine they’re used to, and no fighting for attention! . Your experience: I know how important it is to have a trustworthy sitter or walker while you’re away for peace of mind and I pride myself on being responsible, detail-oriented, and communicative. For every booking, I send plenty of photos of your pet living their best life and discuss your communication preferences ahead of time so we can be on the same page. I have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule so I'm very happy to work with you to accommodate your needs or adjust if things change. For boarding, I live with my boyfriend in a spacious condo in Hyde Park, so there's plenty of room for your pet to play, get their zoomies out, or find a spot for some alone time. Although I'm the primary caregiver, he is also always up for a belly scratch or round of tug of war, so I consider him a nice bonus for your pet :) We live on a quiet one-way street on the top floor so there is minimal street noise and overstimulation. For house sitting, I know that your pets may be happiest in their own space, and I'm comfortable working in different environments to make sure they are safe and comfy! I will always be respectful of your space and communicative if any issues come up.

Allison was absolutely wonderful with our French bulldog and two cats. As protective pet parents, this was our first time leaving all three of them in someone else’s care, so naturally we were a little apprehensive. Allison immediately put us at ease by offering two consultation visits before our trip so she could thoroughly understand our pets’ individual needs, routines, personalities, and home environment. That level of preparation and genuine care meant a lot to us. Throughout our vacation, Allison was incredibly attentive and responsive. She arrived early and kept us updated with multiple messages and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she wasn’t simply checking in on our pets, but genuinely caring for them and making sure they were happy and comfortable. She even went above and beyond by offering thoughtful advice for our continued care of the pets, which we really appreciated. You can tell Allison truly loves animals and takes the responsibility of caring for them seriously. She also left the house tidy and in great shape. It was such a small gesture, but after coming home from a long trip, walking into a clean and tidy home made a bigger difference than she probably realized. We came home to three happy, well-cared-for pets and felt completely comfortable knowing they were in Allison’s hands. She helped make our vacation so much more enjoyable because we never had to worry about how things were going at home. Alexis was everything that I could have asked for during a long house sitting stay with our doggo. She was great with communication for over two weeks that we had to be away. She was especially great about taking our dog on very long walks around the city. I'll definitely enlist Alexis anytime that I need to leave my dog in good hands in the future.
Julia is amazing. She's taken our older dog on walks and she's housesat for us when we were out of town for more than a week. Our dog was so calm and happy when we came home from our trip-- it was clear that Julia made him feel so comfortable. And our house was just as we had left it. Julia meets our dog just where he is: when she saw that he didn't want to go far on walks anymore, she went at his pace and just stayed with him, showing more care and patience than we're often able to bring ourselves. She is a gentle and caring soul and we feel so lucky to have had her help!
We went out of town for 10 days and Zoe took care of our two whippets, Sammy and Bleu. We got updates and pictures each day, and know they got at least two long walks daily (they have Fi collars, so we can see their daily steps). Zoe also took great care of our home and left it cleaner than when she arrived! I could not recommend her enough!
Chauntrell is a lifesaver! Our sitter backed out the day before our trip, and he was immediately available. He sent us picture updates of our sweet Lola, followed our instructions on Lola’s care, and was very communicative! She's a great care taker of your dog or in my case my Son Ghost💙💙. My son enjoys hisself. She took him to the lake and some long walks. Also, my son got his chicken nuggets and went to the bank with her. I will definitely use her again. Amiyah Ghost says he loves you and thank you. He can't wait to see you again🐶🐶🐶🐶

Ahriel was communicative, kind, and took great care of my 3 animals on short notice - including a large senior dog and a toothless cat! She asked thorough questions when interviewing her which was reassuring. Since the stay was short notice, she was unable to meet the animals before hand or get a lay of the land (confusing apartment building), but did an incredible job with everything no less. Would recommend her and will hopefully get to use her in the future!
Mia took good care of Doby while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and she left my house clean and tidy. Knowing Doby was in such good hands made my vacation so much more relaxing.
