“Evan did a wonderful job watching our cat for a long weekend. He was communicative and responsive, which made us feel comfortable and confident that our cat was in great hands.”

“I am always very nervous when I leave my furry girl alone. It was the first time we booked Qutress and she did it amazing. On a couple days did a great bond and my Kira is always scared to everyone, she really had the touch, the care and patience for her. Qutress is reliable, careful with all details and kind. I would repeat her service as much I need it.”

“Maya is remarkable. She is reliable and caring. Book her with full confidence that your cat(s) and/or dog(s) will be in superb hands. Maya did a great job with my shy kitty. I've booked Maya twice and she has impressed me so much with her effort (and success!) to befriend and gain the trust of my little girl. I'm very grateful to have found her on Rover: she is excellent, book her!!”
“Cassandra was the best! Great with details, very communicative, and, most importantly, she was amazing with our two kitties! They are usually a little skittish, but warmed right up to her. She gave them food and water, played with them, cleaned up after them, and even brushed them (our long-haired cat needs regular grooming). It was such a relief during our vacation to know our girls were in such great hands!”

About: I've had pets since I was 9. From 9 till now I've had cats, dogs, fishes, and guinea pigs. I have experience with dealing with pets that may have previously trauma issues also with pets that may need careful care like medince or special needs. Even pets that don't need extra care just pets that wants to have long walks or need a lot of play time . I am currently in school. So I will be working part time for Rover. Evening and nights works best for the weekdays and for the weekends I am open for anytime you need. For cats do have multiple cat bags if they need to brought to a appointment or any where else. And foot dogs if you don't have a leach I can get one but I would prefer for you to have leeches and rates of pets need to be taken out of the house .
“I am so happy that I found Christina to take care of my little Rainbow while I was away! She was very caring and they bonded like love at first sight for our meet and greet. It shows that Christina really loves cats and went out of her way to make sure that mine was comfortable and happy! When I came home, everything was neat and clean and Rainbow was happy and ready to play as if I had never left! I would highly recommend Christina and book her again, thank you so much!”

“I booked Jasmine VERY last minute and she got back to me quickly and was available for a meet and greet the same day. Everything went off without a hitch while I was gone. Highly recommend.”

“Mia was personable and professional from our very first text. After her initial visit, I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat in her hands. I was able to relax while away and come home to a healthy, happy cat!”

“An amazing cat sitter! It’s clear how much she truly loves animals, and they love her back. Even our very shy and unsociable kitty fell in love with her at first sight, which was a huge surprise to us. We’re so grateful for her care, kindness, and attention.”

About: Hi! I just graduated from college and am looking on Rover as an additional job. I have grown up with many pets, including dogs and lots of other interaction with cats. One of my dogs is currently 15 years old, and we rescued my other dog, so I have experience working with senior pets as well as very anxious pets. Have had pets for more than 10 years of my life. I am not starting a Master’s degree until September, so my daily routine is very flexible, making pet care easy! I am happy to adjust as needed. I love spending time with pets and am happy to be with them in whatever environment they feel the most comfortable. In your homes I will respect your space and your pet’s, and happily meet your needs.
“Cassandra listens and is trustworthy. We spoke for awhile exchanging dog (pet watching) experiences and I knew I could trust her with my dogs and my home: Her visit consisted of having lockbox access to our house, access to the dogs and returning everything as requested.”
About: I've loved dogs and animals for as long as I can remember and have had hands-on experience caring for my own dog since I was 8 years old. I grew up with a 110-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, which made me very comfortable handling large, energetic dogs and understanding the responsibility that comes with caring for them. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and prioritize making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it's going on long walks, playing, sticking to established routines, or simply providing companionship, I am attentive to each dog's individual needs and personality. As a University of Chicago student, I am responsible, dependable, and highly organized. I understand that pets are family members, and I will care for your dog with the same patience, attention, and affection that I would give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, but I have flexibility for lunch break visits on Thursdays and Fridays, and I am available in the evenings for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. I also have much more availability on weekends. Because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, pet care is something I look forward to rather than an extra task. I am committed to being reliable, maintaining your pet's routine, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you're away. At the moment, I am unable to provide pet care in my apartment, but I am more than happy to offer walks, drop-in visits, and care in your home. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will always follow any instructions provided regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and house rules. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and positive experience for your pet while giving owners peace of mind that their pet is receiving attentive and reliable care.
About: In addition to taking care of my own three dogs, I have spent the past four summers working at a doggy daycare/ kennel. I have professional training and experience in taking care of animals of a variety of sizes and various needs. With over 50 dogs in our care every day, I am experienced in creating an environment that is safe, clean, and fun. I feel prepared to handle anything that is thrown my way !! I am a graduate student here in Chicago, so I have classes four days a week, but I can do walks and drop in visits for most of the afternoon, and dogsitting and walks Saturday-Monday. I am unable to take pets into my own home, but in a clients home I am prepared to work with whatever is available, including spending as much time outside as necessary and bringing treats and a slip lead to help with walking, training, and crating. For pets who prefer to spend their time indoors, I will make sure they still get plenty of attention and mental stimulation.
About: I’ve been walking and dog-sitting for dogs of all sizes & ages since 2014, and dog mom of a Husky since 2021! Happy to go on long walks, play fetch or with the favorite toy, and send you cute pics of your pup along the way. I’m a recent graduate from the University of Chicago and still on the hunt for a full-time job. To keep me sane during the job search process, I would love to care for your pet(s) throughout the week & weekend! Happy to send photos of our walks! I will make sure your dogs have food & water. I can also easily clean up puppy messes if they are still potty training. Please let me know what their favorite treat is too!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kenwood
Im a first time user of the Rover app and was extremely nervous, to trust someone with my dog! Carmen eased every fear. She extremely patient, compassionate and detailed oriented. Chloe can be a real sour patch, yet she took on the challenge & Chloe loves her now. 10/10 definitely recommend & would book again. THANK YOU So much for a great first experience.

Maya took great care of both my indoor and outdoor cats while I was away. She was in regular communication with me about whether or not the cats were visible during her drop-ins, as well as how open they were to getting some rubs and TLC. She even brought my dumpsters back into my yard on trash day and made sure packages delivered to my home made it safely inside. Maya is a sweetheart and I absolutely plan on having her care for my babies for my next extended out of town trip!

Cassie is an excellent cat sitter. She took care of my cat while going through some medical stuff, and took the time to make sure her medication was administered correctly and with care, and also to help reassure and update me while I was away. I really appreciate it!
