“Nadine was great! She sent detailed updates and great pictures, and I could tell she took amazing care of my cat while I was away. It was a relief knowing my cat was in such good hands. I would definitely ask Nadine to cat sit again!”

“I’ve had a great experience with Christina! She is reliable, caring, and always takes great care of my dog. I really appreciate knowing my dog is in good hands while I’m away. She does a wonderful job, is dependable, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets!”

About: I love puppies and letting them get socialized! I have a 5 month old puppy myself and choosing me to watch your baby would be an honor! I work from home so your pup will never be alone! I work from home all day! My puppy goes with me almost everywhere and I frequently take walks so your puppy would be in great hands I have a fenced yard as well as a big open play pen for my puppy and plenty of toys for your pup to play with!
“Cassandra listens and is trustworthy. We spoke for awhile exchanging dog (pet watching) experiences and I knew I could trust her with my dogs and my home: Her visit consisted of having lockbox access to our house, access to the dogs and returning everything as requested.”
“Evan did a wonderful job watching our cat for a long weekend. He was communicative and responsive, which made us feel comfortable and confident that our cat was in great hands.”

“Qutress was amazing with our cat as always! She took care of everything exactly as requested and we felt super comfortable knowing that our pet was in such good hands while we were out of town.”

About: I’ve always been the go-to among family and friends to watch their animals when they are gone for trips or vacations or need extra help. I’m an avid walker in general, and a walk is always better with a pet! I’ve volunteered for two years at animal shelters, trained and raised a puppy, and have experience caring for pets young and old. I’m currently a writer, remote copy-editor, and substitute teacher with an incredibly flexible schedule at the moment. I can watch, walk, and care for dogs and cats pretty much 24/7 at the moment. The only thing I cannot do is host animals in my home due to my apartment’s lease. Every pet is different and every pet owner cares for their pet differently. Let me know all your animals quirks and needs and I’ll meet them happily! I’d love to walk your dog around the park or neighborhood, give them them their special treats, respect your cat’s weird boundaries and quirks, etc, etc. :)

About: As a big sister and true animal lover, I have delighted in taking responsibility and caring for the children and fur-babies of family, friends, and neighbors for most of my life. My experience with dogs and cats is extensive, including: extended periods of 24/7 care for varying ages, sizes, and needs; following veterinary instructions for administering medications; and providing proper everyday care such as bathing, feeding, walking, and basic grooming, and of course plenty of play-time and snuggles! For walks and check-ins I am flexibly available on Saturdays and Sundays, and during the week I am available Tuesdays 3pm - 6pm, Wednesdays 8am - 11am, and Fridays 1pm - 6pm. I am also able to provide overnight/multiday care at my home for cat-friendly pets. My apartment is a spacious 3 bed/2 bath (I have 3 couches to choose from for naptime and snuggles!), with plenty of parks, trails and green spaces nearby to walk and play. I have a sweet kitty at home who loves to play with other cats, and dogs too! Some things to keep in mind when deciding if my home is right for your fur-baby's stay: I live on the 2nd floor and my building does not have an elevator; if your pet uses a crate you will need to provide this for their stay; I have a cat and so will only be able to welcome cat-friendly pets to my home.
“Eunice went above and beyond with my Tev! She came back the second day even though Tevi was having a hard time during the first visit. Eunice was amazing and very communicative.”

“It was my first time using rover and I was looking for someone who truly understands dogs, and its Tamara! Tamara was a true blessing while I was away in Mexico. My dog isn’t usually quick to trust—he even tried to bite her when they first met—but she was so patient and kind with him. By the end of the week, he was waiting at the door for her, tail wagging, 30 minutes early. I could tell he really bonded with her. I’m so grateful and would absolutely have her watch him again.”

“Great with dogs! Daphne gave our 11yr old and 1yr old so much love and attention during her mid day drop in visits, we are grateful for her service. Wonderful and easy to work with and we will definitely use again.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and cat for 7 years and before then was the go to sitter for all my friends with pets! I’m also a PhD student in psychology working in animal behaviors. Since young, I understand animals and respect them: how we treat them influences their behaviors. I’ve got the heart and the training to give your babies the best care they deserve when you are away! My schedule is flexible as long as we communicate in advance. Mornings work the best at the moment but let me know what you need I’ll try to make it work :) I have a comfy apartment with one dog and one cat. They’ll keep your baby company if you board with us. I’m skilled in introducing new animals to each other, I try to adjust to each animals temperaments. On other visits I try to get to your babies first as well, and of course your tips are always appreciated as you know them the best!
About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life and my house was always noisy. However, now that I’ve moved away from home I’ve been missing the little guys. Im going into a my Masters program at UChicago! I’m also a barista at Starbucks! I usually work in the early morning so my afternoons are pretty open! I have the upmost respect for others property and place. I would love to board animals at my apartment if you are comfortable with it! However, I will come second to only you in loving your animal.

About: I am a CPR certified pet sitter who loves animals and loves to care for things. I have no pets of my own because I travel often for my full-time job . However. , I look forward to building a trust worthy, healthy relationship with you and your animal family. I currently work from home full-time so I have flexible hours. I do travel often for work so the further out I know for overnight days is the better. I also am available to walk dogs daily. I live alone and a very nice neighborhood full of lots of trees and families. I keep a very neat and nice home free of anything that could harm animals.

Tim helped me with the care of my two dogs while I was out of town and my husband had some long work days. The dogs absolutely loved him and he updated me every visit with pictures and told me how they were doing. I will definitely be asking Tim to watch my boys in the future!

I’ve had a great experience with Christina! She is reliable, caring, and always takes great care of my dog. I really appreciate knowing my dog is in good hands while I’m away. She does a wonderful job, is dependable, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets!

David took once again tremendous care of our 2 cats. He went above and beyond taking numerous pictures while we were out of the country and took additional measures to make sure they were safe when the Canadian wildfire smoke hit Chicago, putting a damp rag under our doorway to make sure the cats could breathe easy. David always puts us at ease and we trust wholeheartedly the cats are cared for while we’re gone.
