What I can offer is more than just feeding or walking your dog, I can also spend time with them and keep them company. To me, caring for a dog is about trust, responsibility, and love. I grew up with a dog and cared for her from the time she joined our family until the end of her life, so dogs have always had a special place in my heart. I’ve always loved animals, not just dogs. Growing up, I also cared for turtles, fish, guinea pigs, pigeons, and a cat. I’m interested in dog sitting because I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and would love to be there for them when their owners need someone they can trust. Demin has been such a wonderful sitter for my kitty! She responds incredibly quickly and is always proactive with communication. She goes out of her way to coordinate key pickups and make the entire process seamless. She also takes the time to make sure she knows exactly where everything is, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We felt confident our pet and home were in great hands and would absolutely recommend her!
Demin took great care of our cats, Gigi and Soup, which included anxiety medication for Soup! She sent abundant pictures each visit and gave our pets plenty of attention and play time. Thanks so much Demin for giving us confidence and peace of mind that our cats would be okay while we’re gone for the holidays!

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule. On weekends, I can spend most of the day with your dog and give them plenty of attention and companionship. During weekdays, mornings and evenings work best for me, but I can often be flexible depending on your dog’s needs and schedule.

I live close to the Grant Park and the lakefront, with plenty of great places nearby for walks and outdoor time. I enjoy staying active and regularly walk along the lakefront myself, so I’m happy to give dogs plenty of exercise based on their energy level and routine. At home, I provide a comfortable, calm environment and make sure each dog gets plenty of attention and companionship. I also follow the owner’s feeding, walking, and care instructions closely so their routine stays as familiar as possible.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks around the Grant Park and along the lakefront trail. We can enjoy the fresh air together, explore all the interesting smells and sights, and get some exercise along the way. I also love taking photos of our adventures and sharing those moments with their owners. At home, I enjoy playing with them, relaxing together, or simply having them curl up next to me (or fall asleep on my lap!). I adjust activities based on each dog’s personality, energy level, and normal routine.

- Please let me know about your dog’s personality, daily routine, and any special needs, medications, or behaviors I should be aware of. For boarding in my home, I’m most comfortable with dogs who are house-trained, don’t mark indoors and can sleep independently. The more I know about your dog ahead of time, the better I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.
