About: I've taken care of dogs for my neighbors and family friends throughout middle school and into high school! I have experience walking dogs and taking care of them when their people were on vacation! I am happy to send pictures or videos updates of your pup and will gladly play with them! About: Up until recently I had a large reactive dog. She was my best friend and taught me not only patience, but also taught me so much about dogs. I wfh and am looking to add a little something to my schedule. I would love to give your dog the exercise it needs while you’re at work. I am willing to work with reactive dogs in case by case basis. I am also a dog walking volunteer at CACC. I wfh and have flexibility in my schedule. I am available afternoons and evenings m-f and can work something out on weekends if it was needed. About: I’ve lived with dogs since I was little and have always had a love for animals! I now have a pet cat of my own and often pet sit for family and friends of mine. I currently am a full time student and work as well. My evenings and weekends are full availability though, and I’m always free for last minute walks and drop in’s. My home is a clean environment and it does like to keep that way, though it is understandable if your friend has a couple of accidents in the home due to the new environment, but if it persisted beyond 3-5 occurrences, I would not be able to continue care. The pet would likely stay on their bed in a closed bedroom at night.

I’ve had the honor of caring for other people’s dogs, including elderly and ones with medical issues, and everything in between. I’m currently working part time online where I can work as little or as much as I want to, so my schedule is wide open! Even for overnight needs. Our cat Rocket loves Emily :) Emily took care of Rocket a couple times now during our trip, including some long-term ones. That meant Emily had to come in twice a day, every day, for 2-3 weeks. She wasn't late to a single visit, gave Rocket lots of pets and attention, and sent us a lot of pictures while we were overseas. She truly went above and beyond as a sitter and we cannot recommend Emily enough!

Kate was amazing with Peppa! She stopped by every day and it was so obvious how much she genuinely cared — sent me pics constantly so I never had to wonder how things were going. Peppa looked happy and relaxed in every single one. Super reliable, showed up right on time every visit, and communicated the whole week without me having to chase her down for updates. One of my cats had a minor emergency the night before my flight, and I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable leaving him if I didn’t have Grace. She is always so attentive and made sure to keep an eye out for any warning signs while I was away. She’s truly the best of the best and I’m so grateful for her!
Janiyah is by far the best cat sitter I’ve ever booked on Rover, so let me start there. I was so nervous to let someone watch my babies because it was my first time visiting home after moving to Chicago and I didn’t want to leave Chef & Roux behind. Janiyah was super reassuring and wrote detailed rover cards that helped keep me in the loop throughout my trip. At one point my food started to run out for the girls and I had to deliver more to the apartment. She offered to come back to the apartment early so my girls didn’t get too hungry waiting until her next visit. Her compassion and communication skills really stood out to me and I will be rebooking her. Oh wait, I already did! 😆
Quynh is a very attentive and thorough sitter with a genuine care for animals. I asked her to drop by a couple times a day while I was out of the country and she sent me very detailed messages and photos so I could feel assured my cat Evie was receiving very good care. Evie is getting older, can be quite needy, and doesn’t like most people but she warmed up to Quynh quickly. I appreciate that she responded promptly to anything I asked when I was away and was able to adjust to Evie’s needs. I came home to a very happy cat and clean home.
