About: This year, I lost my two rescue dogs within a few months of one another. They came into my life when I was a college kid and left when I entered my first year as a parent. I love my family and friends' furry friends, and life is not the same without them. A dog is not just an animal, but a family member and confidant. From walks, feedings, boarding, and endless cuddles, I can provide any service during lunchtime and weekends as needed. I personally do not enjoy spending my days indoors, so you can expect me to be running along the lake or at the park with my toddler. I work from home, so I can certainly care for animals while working. My son is in school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I am flexible during my lunch schedule to care for your pup(s). On weekends, I can help with any requests you may have for your special friends. I have a fenced-in yard and a patio deck. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty of parks to visit. I can travel to walk your dog for as long as needed, depending on the area.

I always make sure pets get the right mix of exercise, play, and calm time. I send photo updates and messages regularly so you can relax knowing they’re happy and in good hands. Before moving to Chicago, I worked for a reputable dog walking service in Minneapolis and volunteered at the Anti-Cruelty Society. I have professional training and hands-on experience providing daytime, evening, and overnight pet care including walks, meals, water refills, medications, and lots of tummy rubs! My personal experience includes raising a German Shephard, two Collies, and a Dachshund from pups; each have led long happy lives full of lengthy walks and tummy rubs. As a former doggy foster parent, I've hosted dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, etc. Does your furry buddy need some exercise? I'm a dependable, fun-loving, experienced dog walker and pet sitter at your service!!! I tend to work from home most of the time, so I'll have plenty of time to give your pup the love and attention he/she deserves! I live steps away from beautiful Armor Square Park and walking distance from several others. We typically take 4 walks each day; morning, afternoon, evening, and before bedtime. I do not require crate training, but my apartment has plenty of space to accommodate your crate in case your furry friend would prefer to have their own private space.

About: I have roughly five years experience taking care of others’ dogs on a regular basis. I always thought I was a cat person but as it turned out… I am a dog person, too! I have experience mainly with adult and senior dogs, both big and small. I am an expert at hiding meds in a yummy snack or spoon of peanut butter. I am dependable and stick to your pets schedule and needs! I’ve won and lost many a tug of war in my day… I am currently between jobs & studying for an insurance license - so I have an open schedule with which to care for your fur babies! I am very thorough and attentive so I will make sure to fulfill any requests you have and needs your furry friends may have. I always make sure that pets in my care have fresh water and their scheduled food, as well as comfort toys and treats. I make sure to study medication regimens thoroughly, so I can keep your pets in optimal health and spirits. I establish trust through consistency in action (that includes treats!). I am concerned with making sure your pets feel safe in my care, first and foremost. I think the only way I can be a fun caretaker for your pets is to establish that feeling of trust and safety.
