About: Up until recently I had a large reactive dog. She was my best friend and taught me not only patience, but also taught me so much about dogs. I wfh and am looking to add a little something to my schedule. I would love to give your dog the exercise it needs while you’re at work. I am willing to work with reactive dogs in case by case basis. I am also a dog walking volunteer at CACC. I wfh and have flexibility in my schedule. I am available afternoons and evenings m-f and can work something out on weekends if it was needed. About: Hi! I’m Emily — a dependable and caring animal lover based in Chicago. I’ve had medium to large dogs my whole life, so I’m very comfortable handling different energy levels, personalities, and needs. I also volunteer at PAWS Chicago, where I spend time caring for and working with dogs of different temperaments. This has given me experience reading dog behavior and helping them feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I currently don’t have a dog of my own at home, which allows me to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for and be flexible with scheduling. My family dog Bella likes to come for a visit here and there for a few days in a row. She will not be with on our walks or home visits. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality. I’m experienced with medium to large dogs and comfortable handling different energy levels and personalities. I prioritize safety on walks by using secure leashing and staying aware of surroundings, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also very communicative and will send regular updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.

About: With 4 years of professional pet car experience, I am fully prepared to properly care for your fur baby! I am pet CPR certified and have professional experience with both cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I currently have completely open availability! My routine at the moment only consists of my own fur babies, whom also have another hooman to care for them while I am away. In my home, I have a Large sized dog crate, 2 k-bed’s, bowls, treats, wet food and (lots) of enrichment toys. I also have a 6ft tall fenced in yard, and a completely separate room for guests if they prefer their own space and being alone! I also have a GSD, Aki, who is a bit picky with his dog friends, but absolutely LOVES all of his cat friends and sister! My cat, Bones, is a very outgoing, social and cuddly baby and loves making friends with all!

About: - has had 3 dogs throughout my life, 2 miniature schnauzers and 1 German Shepherd - has dog watched all different breeds throughout high school - had a dog with diabetes and was blind, knows how to give injections, pills if needed -has walked dogs of all different breeds, ages and personalities at the Humane Society -passionate about loving and caring for dogs! I am able to take care of dogs Monday through Sunday, though times may differ, but usually free later on in the day. Mornings and evenings generally preferred! I am unable to have pets in my home but I am able to walk them, feed them, as well as help them before leaving your home with anything they need to be the most comfortable before you come home.

“Janiyah is by far the best cat sitter I’ve ever booked on Rover, so let me start there. I was so nervous to let someone watch my babies because it was my first time visiting home after moving to Chicago and I didn’t want to leave Chef & Roux behind. Janiyah was super reassuring and wrote detailed rover cards that helped keep me in the loop throughout my trip. At one point my food started to run out for the girls and I had to deliver more to the apartment. She offered to come back to the apartment early so my girls didn’t get too hungry waiting until her next visit. Her compassion and communication skills really stood out to me and I will be rebooking her. Oh wait, I already did! 😆”
