About: I have been a proud dog mom for the past 9 years, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life! I live a very active lifestyle and truly believe our pets deserve to enjoy that same energy, whether that means a long walk, playtime, or simply getting some extra love and attention throughout the day. Over the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs and have regularly dog-sat for friends and neighbors. I recently moved to Chicago and am excited to bring my love for dogs to Rover! I’m especially comfortable with big dogs and high-energy pups who need a little extra exercise, structure, and attention. My goal is to make every pup feel happy, safe, loved, and right at home while they’re in my care. 🐾 I manage & teach at a Pilates studio so my schedule is pretty flexible! I am also a very early riser 🌞 I also have a car, so transportation will never be an issue. Communication is the most important part of caring for your pet! I’ll make sure we’re aligned on your dog’s routine, needs, and preferences, and I’ll keep you updated throughout their time with me. Your pup’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.

About: I've taken care of dogs for my neighbors and family friends throughout middle school and into high school! I have experience walking dogs and taking care of them when their people were on vacation! I am happy to send pictures or videos updates of your pup and will gladly play with them! I am excited to have wide availability to take care of animals! I am open to mornings, evenings, and would be more than happy to stay overnight! I really enjoy spending time with animals! It's important to me to get to know your pet! I would love for you to share with me how you care for your pets, so that I can care for them as well as you do! I love to cuddle, play, and engage with all dogs and cats!

About: Up until recently I had a large reactive dog. She was my best friend and taught me not only patience, but also taught me so much about dogs. I wfh and am looking to add a little something to my schedule. I would love to give your dog the exercise it needs while you’re at work. I am willing to work with reactive dogs in case by case basis. I am also a dog walking volunteer at CACC. I wfh and have flexibility in my schedule. I am available afternoons and evenings m-f and can work something out on weekends if it was needed. I would take care of your animals at your home based on instructions you give me for you pet. I respect you as an owner and your pet and do not want to give overstep and boundaries

“I had to change cat sitters last minute and I am very happy that Gwen was available. She took great care of my two boy cats. She also didn't have a problem with stocking the feeder with wet food every three days. Initially, there was a misunderstanding that was quickly remedied. When I came back, my two boys were happy and healthy, freshly brushed. Gwen apparently even cleaned the couch, as there was no hair to be found there. She also agreed to keep my huge number of plants alive during the time that I was gone... and it turned out to be a monumental task with >90F heat every day. But they are all thriving! Thank you!”

About: Ive had dogs all throughout my childhood and and even now. I’ve owned different sized dogs as well as different ages. I’ve pet sitter before for family and friends! I’m currently in school during the mornings so my availability is open during the afternoon and evening! (after 2pm) My classes are online so it is possible for me to work before 2pm. I’m available all weekend! I enjoy getting to know the pets and seeing their personality shine through. I’ve personally have had different dogs from small to big and different cats. :D
