About: I have always lived with dogs and love pet sitting for others! I aspire to be a veterinarian in the future because of my passion for animals. I interned at a vet clinic this past summer and gained valuable knowledge about pets and how to care for them. I have a very flexible schedule since I am currently home from college for the summer. About: If you have an anxious dog or if you’re an anxious dog parent, then I’m probably the sitter for you. I have a fur baby of my own, my 1 year old beagle Pete, and he is an extremely energetic, mischievous, stubborn, and anxious little guy. I’ve raised Pete since he was 11 weeks old, so I know all there is to know about puppies and take caring for them very seriously. As someone who follows a pretty structured routine for an anxious dog, I know how important it is to stick to schedules and make sure pets are getting enough walks, enrichment, playtime, love, and attention to help them feel safe and settled while their parent is away. I’ve personally paid people a lot of money to care for Pete because I ask for a lot (literally down to leaving instructions to keep Gilmore Girls on the TV because he likes it lol), so trust me when I say there is nothing “too much” or “too specific” that you can ask of me. I completely understand how important routines and comfort are for our pets because I’m the exact same way with my own dog. I also have experience administering medications and caring for dogs after neutering and medical issues. Pete has dealt with prostate issues, so I’m comfortable handling medication schedules and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routines. It’s also worth mentioning that Pete, being a beagle, eats EVERYTHING and keeps me on my toes at all times. Because of that, I’ve become incredibly diligent, patient, observant, and adaptable. Some dogs are calm and cuddly, while others need more play, structure, patience, or stimulation and I’m comfortable adapting to all kinds of personalities and needs. As a dog mom myself I know how reassuring it is to get updates while you’re away, so I’ll happily communicate as much as you’d like. Expect lots of updates, photos, videos, and honest communication. I’m also never afraid to ask questions if I need clarification because I’d rather do things correctly than make assumptions. Most importantly, I want people to know I’m dependable and trustworthy. If you tell me your dog needs a 30 minute walk, we’re doing a full 30 minute walk. If your dog eats from a snuffle mat, has a specific bedtime routine, or can’t be alone after dark, I’m going to follow those instructions exactly as asked. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your baby, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Right now I’m focusing on walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays in clients’ homes rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment. Pet care already plays a big role in my daily routine, so I’m very comfortable maintaining structured schedules, walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment, and consistent care. I’m available throughout the day and evening Thursday through Sunday, and I also offer weekday availability Monday through Wednesday during early mornings and evenings. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I totally get how important trust and consistency is when someone is caring for your pet (I am that person that has given our dog sitter a 4 pager play by play of my puppy’s routine lol!). I specialize in high energy dogs mainly but I also love medium energy dogs as well! My aunts dog lucky is an high energy dog who loves being active and playing around!! I always feed my dog both dry food and human food since that was she was raised on. I love seeing her joyful and seeing how well cared she is. About: I’m sure all sitters say this but I genuinely have a seat for being with animals. Sometimes I prefer them over people and treat them like they’re my own. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Anywhere I go I ask to pet someone’s dog and respect what the dog’s body language is telling me. I have a Siberian husky so I have had to learn how to read body language and potential environmental stressors very well. I invest a generous amount of time into learning about dog breeds and am always opening to learning more! About: I've always had a love for dogs and have cared for my own dogs since I was 12. My friends and family have asked me to walk, play with, feed, or bathe their pets and I am always happy to help! During the week, I work from home three days out of the five and those days I am responsible for my pets at home and love being able to be home with them. At home I have a fenced in yard that is perfect for play dates. My two dogs are very friendly with other dogs and they are crate trained so they can be easily put away. About: I am a lifelong animal lover and pet caretaker, with tons of experience with dogs of all sizes, multiple breeds, puppies, and senior dogs! I was born and raised in Illinois, where I grew up as a caretaker for multiple cats and a German Shepard/Newfoundland mix named Henry, who I helped take care of with my family. I took care of my family’s chihuahua and acclimated him to a new environment. I have taken care of dogs and cats with plenty of unique situations who needed extra love! I moved to Las Vegas in 2016, and I am currently the co owner of 3 rescue pups, who require plenty of love, walks, and playtime. I adopted my dog Zeyda when she was 12 weeks old, and I worked with her a lot using positive reinforcement and attended training with her to help her gain confidence, learn basic life skills and tricks, and walk on a loose leash. I love helping pets and making them happy, giving each one the unique love and care that it needs. I am off during the summer (until August 1st) so I have very open availability! During the rest of the year I work full time, so I am typically available on weekends as well as evenings during the week. I may be available during the week around holidays as well. I have a 2 story house with a fenced yard, and a dog run across the street. My gated neighborhood is dog friendly and perfect for walks. My 2 roommates and I take care of 3 dogs, and they are friendly and loving.
