About: Hi! I’m Lauren, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. Additionally, I’ve fostered dogs during extreme weather emergencies, caring for each one until I was able to personally find them a loving, forever home. I earned my Master’s in Psychological Science and am currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My background has strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and understanding of behavior, all of which are qualities that help me provide attentive, individualized care for every pet. As a dog owner myself (to a sweet American bully), I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a dependable companion, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide dependable care throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your scheduling needs whenever possible. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any other preferences to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I treat every home with the utmost respect and provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease throughout my care.

“Yesenia was amazing, reliable, neat communicative, and gave very detailed updates for each visit. Much gratitude for taking care of Momo and making him feel comfortable! We will not hesitate on using their service again.”

About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.
“Once again, Michael is the GOAT. Excellent care and actually takes time to interact with your pets. My cat loves him and I’ll book him again, undoubtedly.”

About: Hello! My name is Heidi, and I am a fulltime UIC student who loves caring for dogs and cats of all shape and sizes. I grew up with a dog and have experience caring for my friends dogs and cats, including feeding, playtime, walks, and providing companionship. Pets are important to my family, and I will make sure yours receive plenty of attention, care, and love while you're away. As a full time student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active, I like going on short or long walks. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I can also provide regular updates for peace of mind

“Jazmyne was very helpful, friendly, and generous with her time. She sent me lots of updates and photos so I always knew how Momo, my cat, was doing. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Luis was wonderful with our cat Mango when we needed last minute care over the holidays! He was super communicative and made sure to spend quality time with her while we were away.”
About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years, so caring for animals has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have helped raise, train, exercise, and comfort dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was also a cat owner for over a decade, which gave me experience with pets who have very different personalities, routines, and comfort levels. My family has been pet sitting for nearly 10 years, and I helped with a lot of that care over the years. Through that, I learned how important it is to be reliable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s needs. Now that I am on my own, I am excited to start offering pet care myself and to provide pets with the same kind of safe, loving care I would want for my own animals. I am a teacher, but I am currently on summer break, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I have plenty of availability during the day, evenings, and weekends, while still being dependable and consistent with the care I provide. I am able to work around each pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. In my home, pets will have a safe, clean, and comfortable space to relax and feel cared for. I live in a large 3-bedroom apartment with secure doors that create natural barriers throughout the apartment, which makes it easy to separate spaces when needed or help a pet feel more comfortable. There are no other pets in the home, so your pet will receive my full attention without having to adjust to unfamiliar animals. One of the best parts of my home is the fully fenced-in backyard. There is plenty of space for dogs to run around, play, use the bathroom, or just stretch their legs safely. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, water, comfort, and supervision based on each pet’s normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow the owner’s instructions closely so the pet can stay on their usual schedule. I know how important consistency is, so I pay attention to feeding times, walks, medication instructions, favorite toys, comfort needs, and any house rules. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are in my home or their own. Please note, I only sit pets from 1 household at a time - that way your pet(s) get all of my attention!
About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and the responsibility of taking care of them truly is second nature. I love to walk and jog with my girls and would love to get some exercise in with your dog too! I am also good with dogs that pull or need a bit more redirection. I work from home primarily, so I am able to designate a lot of time to pet care and spend quality time with my own dogs and any special guests! I walk often and will make sure your pet meets their step goal too! I have a fenced in yard and my two dogs love to make new friends. We do at least two walks per day and one enrichment game per day.
“Very reliable and she stepped up last minute and helped a lot! She was very thorough with instructions and gave me all the updates which I was very appreciative of. Definitely recommend!!”

Help me on my journey to becoming a better pet taker by entrusting me with your pet as we get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I am available early mornings to just before noon on week days Sunday through thrusday. Fridays I have more free time as well as Saturdays I live in a first floor apartment with fences all around, my neighbor upstairs has a dog but is really friendly and can get along with other dogs.
About: I have 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own Chihuahua mix, along with experience caring for pets in family homes while babysitting. I adapt to each pet’s personality, whether that means active engagement or giving them space, while ensuring they feel safe, calm, and well cared for at all times. My background as a teacher’s assistant and current work in healthcare with older adults has strengthened my reliability, patience, and attention to detail. I provide calm, consistent, and attentive care for every pet. I am a fully remote worker and can work from anywhere with a quiet space. I work a daytime healthcare role Monday–Friday (9–5) and a talent agency role evenings and weekends. My work sessions are typically 2–4 hours, allowing for flexible availability and plenty of downtime for pet care. My philosophy is to leave every home better than I found it. I treat each client’s home with respect, secure it properly, allow no visitors, and prioritize the pet’s full care needs—food, water, walks, and medical attention if needed. I’m easy to communicate with and always open to house rules, questions, or concerns.
About: I have a huge animal-less hole in my heart to fill!! I always grew up with a dog and a cat in our home: a German shepherd, Jasmine, then a Welsh terrier, Rex, and kitties Madeline, and Isabel. While I mostly took on the play duties with the pets, I began my pet-sitting journey in elementary school watching my neighbors' cats when they were away and, eventually dogs and cats of my high school friends. Since starting my pet-sitting journey, I have done drop-in visits, dog walking, and house-sitting. I love spending time outdoors, whether at a park, on a walk, or in your backyard! It's important for me to provide gentle love to pets while also abiding by the training they follow. I have cared for up to two animals at a time which is what I feel most comfortable and confident in! I'm not afraid to pull up my sleeves and take care of sh*t (literally!) I loooove taking pictures and will always share pics with your little babies, maybe even a little photo shoot :) I am an entrepreneur growing a Pilates and Wellness business! I have the luxury to create my own schedule and make time for your babies! When visiting someone else's home, I have very high respect for the space I am in. I leave places I have been cleaner than I found them and take care of the home I am in. It’s important to me for your four legged friends to feel safe and comfortable as if you were there all along.
About: Hi there! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them brings me so much joy. I grew up in a lively home with four dogs of all sizes—from a tiny chihuahua to a big labrador/German shepherd mix! I’ve also cared for six cats (including newborn kittens), and have experience with smaller pets like rabbits, hamsters, and mice. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve helped friends and neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting for years, and I’ve volunteered at local animal shelters. I’m attentive, responsible, and always make sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I bring lots of positive energy, patience, and genuine care to every pet I meet! I’m currently a part-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I love using my free time to care for animals—it’s something that brings me genuine happiness. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, and I’m excited to support pet parents in my community by being a reliable, attentive, and compassionate helping hand whenever they need it! Since moving to Chicago, I haven’t been able to have dogs of my own due to my apartment rules—but growing up, pet care was part of my everyday routine. I regularly cared for our family’s dogs and cats, and I still help out friends and neighbors by walking, feeding, and playing with their pets when they need a hand. Currently, I have a sweet Bombay cat named Chalupa who’s been with me for about three years. I feed her wet food every morning, and she has an automatic feeder that gives her small portions of dry food throughout the day. I make sure she stays mentally and physically stimulated with toys, enrichment, and lots of cuddle time. Whether I’m in my own home or a client’s, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, well-fed, engaged, and loved—just like I would with my own!
About: I have always had some type of pet in my home I've had cats, dogs, parakeets, and even hedgehogs. I also have watched many different kinds of pets for friends and family. I have a passion for animals and absolutely adore them! I am currently doing this full-time and have no restrictions. I can provide my services early in the morning and all through out the night if needed! I love playing with animals and giving them lots of attention and cuddles. I often to talk to my own dog as if she were human and I unconsciously do it for other dogs as well.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - South Lawndale
Calvin was an amazing pet sitter and we will absolutely book with them again. He was very responsive, asked specific questions about our pets that showed his experience, and was incredibly easy to work with. It was clear that Calvin took the time to get to know our two cats and their personalities. His summaries and the pictures made us feel so much better about leaving for several days in a row. I highly recommend Monica and Calvin to anyone who wants a worry free vacation away from their fur children.

Luis is my number one choice for holding things down with my furry crew when I travel. He is a kind and communicative person who spends quality time with my kitties, and makes sure they have all the food and water and fresh litter they could possibly need every day. I’m grateful for him!

Steven was super knowledgeable about our pup. Miso loved him and our training has begun already with the tips and suggestions that Steven shared with us. We are first-time big dog people and Steven's confident style and inquisitive approach worked well for our family! Thank you!

I have guinea pigs and I needed someone to spot clean their cage while I was on vacation. First of all, Anisha has great energy. She is super kind and friendly, and she is very professional with clear communication skills. When I came back from my trip, I saw she went above and beyond and deep cleaned the cage, which I didn't ask for. I greatly appreciate her dedication in taking care of my girls, and will definitely ask her again for help!
