About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs and around 4 years of experience caring for cats. Over the years, I’ve helped care for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.
