About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.

About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs and around 4 years of experience caring for cats. Over the years, I’ve helped care for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for turtles, hamsters, and guinea pigs, so I’m comfortable with a variety of animals and their specific care needs. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise, cleanliness, and giving pets the attention and patience they deserve. Friends, family, and people close to me have trusted me to care for their pets because I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every animal like family. I understand how important pets are, and I always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I also provide regular photo and video updates so pet parents can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy and well cared for. I’m currently a full-time college student, so I have a flexible schedule outside of classes and spend a lot of my time caring for my own kitten every day. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m dependable, organized, and able to make time throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and giving pets attention and care while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I make sure pets always have fresh water, clean food bowls, and a clean environment. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, routines, and any instructions provided by the owner to make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and bathroom breaks when needed. After walks or playtime, I like rewarding pets with treats (if approved by the owner) and making sure they feel relaxed and safe. I treat every pet like family and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while away.

Cristian is great! We needed some help with lunchtime walks 3x a week for a couple months after a foot surgery, and we feel so lucky to have found Cristian. He is super communicative, took great pics every visit, and wrote up thorough notes about our girl. He is super patient with our high energy girl, and would even jog with her on some days to tire her out! We highly recommend Cristian and will definitely be reaching out to him in the future when we need a dogwalker!

About: My life is centered around cats and dogs. I currently run and host an independent catch shelter from home. We have a completely separate unit to host on board Your cat or dog at any given time. We also count with a fenced in yard. Where they get to hang out and play on beautiful days. I eat, live, breathe pet care. It's what I do on a daily basis with over fifty one cats and three dogs in our facility, that is truly what I am passionate about. And do it all day. Besides having a fenced in yard, every part of our space has their safety and security in mind, Above all. From protocols in place to introduce New pets to the space so they can be comfortable, to separate spaces that accommodate your pets away from the rest of the population and systems to ensure the pets wellbeing above all.

Leila is fabulous! We need a last second walk for our pups. She came to our house to get the pups. Our friend that was there earlier in the day left the leashes in the wrong place and Leila was patient enough to search for them. It delayed her walk quite a bit but she didn’t shorten their walk. She took great care of our pups and gave them treats. Her report was thorough and detailed, which helped alleviate any worry I had for our pups. Thanks Leila!

About: Hi! My names Grace! I’ve had dogs me entire life but recently moved to the city for school and I miss my pup so much! I’ve been looking for a job to make some extra money so when I heard about Rover I had to sign up! I’ve had experience with dogs of varying suzes from a minniature Schnauzers, to English Mastiffs. I got one of my dogs when she was 8 weeks old and the other we had until he was 16 so I also have experience with different ages and activity levels and how to cater to that. Due to covid, I’m home all day every day so if I was to sit your dog I’d be able to constantly play with them and take them on frequent walks and bathroom breaks. I also am able to administer any medications needed. I will also accept cats! Please message me if interested! I am home right now full time so I have plenty of time to play with the dogs and take them for walks and many bathroom breaks. I let your animal treat my space as theirs while they’re here they can go where they please including furniture. I’m home for school right now so I will be able to give them lots of attention and love. Working a hybrid job allows me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care for the pets I pet sit. Since I spend much of my time at home, I’m able to offer frequent affection, bathroom breaks, and regular walks throughout the day. My pet care services are tailored to each pet’s needs, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own familiar environment. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I follow their established routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding at scheduled times, providing fresh water, regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I also offer companionship throughout the day, ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. For overnight stays, I maintain their normal bedtime routine and provide plenty of affection and reassurance. For pets staying in my home, I create a welcoming and stress-free environment that feels like a home away from home. I provide a structured routine with consistent meals, exercise, and enrichment activities. Whether it’s a cozy spot to relax, playtime in a secure space, or extra cuddles, I ensure each pet feels at ease. I also accommodate special requests, such as administering medications or following specific training guidelines. Regardless of location, my goal is to provide attentive, loving care that keeps pets happy, comfortable, and well-cared for while their owners are away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, mainly my own, but I’ve also taken care of friend’s and family friend’s dogs in these past 3 years, so I understand the anxiety or fear of leaving a part of your family in the care of someone that isn’t you and won’t treat your pet like you will. That’s why I always adjust and accommodate my services to every pet’s needs. When it comes to basic care of pets, I always take puppies and dogs on walks at whichever time of day that they need to go out, always making sure to bring snacks and water so they always stay hydrated and healthy. I make sure they have enough playtime inside and outside so they don’t get bored and are entertained. I understand that not every dog wants to play or can’t move too much, so I of course adjust these activities to accommodate every pet’s individual needs so they’re always comfortable and happy. I also have experience with senior care, specifically giving dogs the medicines they need at the intended hours of the day or night. It goes without saying that my main priority are the pets in my care so I also make sure to always check up on every pet at different hours and times, rarely leaving them out of my sight (while also keeping my distance if they’re resting) to ensure they’re always okay. I work part-time remotely since I finished university in March of 2024. So I have no issues with times and days that will work best for you and your pets! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to! I’m simply there to ensure every pet is taken care of while also having time to play and give them their space, after all, it’s their home and they need to feel the most comfortable and safe in their own space.
