About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.

About: Hi! My names Grace! I’ve had dogs me entire life but recently moved to the city for school and I miss my pup so much! I’ve been looking for a job to make some extra money so when I heard about Rover I had to sign up! I’ve had experience with dogs of varying suzes from a minniature Schnauzers, to English Mastiffs. I got one of my dogs when she was 8 weeks old and the other we had until he was 16 so I also have experience with different ages and activity levels and how to cater to that. Due to covid, I’m home all day every day so if I was to sit your dog I’d be able to constantly play with them and take them on frequent walks and bathroom breaks. I work part-time remotely since I finished university in March of 2024. So I have no issues with times and days that will work best for you and your pets! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to!
