14. Olivia D.
About: Ive worked with animals throughout my youth. First experience working with animals outside of my home was at a doggy day care in the south side suburbs of Chicago. I worked with small dogs and soon took responsibility of larger dogs, and moved into grooming. I worked alongside the owner with socializing and transitioning boarded dogs to be comfortable in kennels for overnight stays. I loved this job and wanted to turn it into a career at the time. I later volunteered at animal shelters and have always been my friends and family first person to call to babysit their pups. This summer I have taken a step back and left my full time job and am out of school. I currently work part time at a restaurant with a liberal and flexible schedule. Before leaving my job, I considered going back to the shelter with the intention of fostering, till a friend recommended how my lifestyle may better accommodate an app like Rover. Work with variety of animals and breeds and more-so be on call and work with owners who share a love and care for their pet. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a fenced in backyard and generous sized porch on the main level of my building. There are no stairs necessary to enter my home. Besides myself I live with a rabbit who has free roam to my home. When boarding or having in-home visits with your pet I will keep my rabbit separated at all times in my spare bedroom. My neighborhood is dog friendly and I’d have 24/7 supervision over the safety, comfortability, and happiness of your pet!
15. Deven S.
“Deven was great! Super communicative and followed our instructions. We could tell Molly was well taken care of. We look forward to asking Deven to walk Molly again soon!”
16. Jessica E.
“Our cats LOVE Jessica. She spends quality time playing, talking, and socializing with our two very needy felines. We've depended on her for last minute trips, single feedings and even long term vacations. She's also great at keeping an eye on the plants along with the cats! She's responsible, uses common sense and best judgement for our pets and home when we can't be there. It's wonderful to have peace of mind when you depend on someone else to care for your animals.”
17. Czarina H.
About: I grew up with family dogs and have had mine since he was 8 weeks old (he just turned 15 years old this August!). Experience with puppies through senior dogs. Large breeds and small! Would love to take care of yours. While I work full time, I am in a hybrid position so I work from home 2 days out of the week and have the weekends to hang out with your pups (no matter the age, dogs are forever pups in my eyes!). I have a 15 year old pup who naps most of the day but is always excited for his walks! I live in a low traffic area and just down the street from a fenced grass area we play in. In case there’s rain, I have a covered area to take the pups out so they still get some fresh air.
18. Marisol G.
“Hello, I would highly recommend Marisol as a pet sitter. She has three pets of her own that she cares for lovingly. Her care and kind nature towards animals is highly noticiable. She has a very sincere and warm approach to dogs. She is also a very responsible adult, always on time with a smile. Without a doubt Marisol would make a great care-giver and loving pet sitter. ”
19. Yanely O.
“We love Yanely! She was very responsive with my request, confirmed she understood instructions (my building is a labyrinth), and became fast friends with my giant dog. Will rebook Yanely every time her schedule can accommodate us! Highly recommended.”
20. Brianna F.
“Brianna is a great dog walker! She is energetic and also patient with our dog Hannah, she is flexible and very punctual and communicates well with pet parents which is a plus! Leaving your dog in someone else's care can be a little stressful but she makes it a breeze! And our doggo can be a little skittish but she warmed up to Brianna super fast!”
