About: I grew up taking care of family pets and have also loved sitting for friends and family over the years. I joined Rover while in grad school because I missed having animals around and have been caring for dogs and cats since. Now I work from home and have lots of flexibility in my schedule for care! . What sets me apart? Your pet’s experience: a safe, calm, and of course, fun time. I’ll take the time to learn their quirks, shower them with plenty of love, and make them as comfortable as possible while their human is gone. I don’t have any pets and only take on one Rover client at a time so I can give your pet(s) the dedicated, individualized care they deserve. I also work from home and have lots of flexibility in my schedule. This means less stress, sticking more closely to the routine they’re used to, and no fighting for attention! . Your experience: I know how important it is to have a trustworthy sitter or walker while you’re away for peace of mind and I pride myself on being responsible, detail-oriented, and communicative. For every booking, I send plenty of photos of your pet living their best life and discuss your communication preferences ahead of time so we can be on the same page. I have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule so I'm very happy to work with you to accommodate your needs or adjust if things change. For boarding, I live with my boyfriend in a spacious condo in Hyde Park, so there's plenty of room for your pet to play, get their zoomies out, or find a spot for some alone time. Although I'm the primary caregiver, he is also always up for a belly scratch or round of tug of war, so I consider him a nice bonus for your pet :) We live on a quiet one-way street on the top floor so there is minimal street noise and overstimulation. For house sitting, I know that your pets may be happiest in their own space, and I'm comfortable working in different environments to make sure they are safe and comfy! I will always be respectful of your space and communicative if any issues come up.

About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life and my house was always noisy. However, now that I’ve moved away from home I’ve been missing the little guys. Im going into a my Masters program at UChicago! I’m also a barista at Starbucks! I usually work in the early morning so my afternoons are pretty open! I have the upmost respect for others property and place. I would love to board animals at my apartment if you are comfortable with it! However, I will come second to only you in loving your animal.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid. My many years of pet ownership has trained me for this opportunity. My Chewy is both happy and healthy. I’m recently retired. My daily schedule is built around the needs of my boy, Chewy. He’s walked at minimum three (3) times a day; my friends and family know the routine. I have a secure deck to allow fresh air and free movement with guaranteed security. I have a crate if needed, but think all dogs should have free movement daily.

About: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was 10 years old, and am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages! Additionally, I have seven years of experience pet/house sitting, including overnight. In the past few years, I have specialized in caring for puppies, and have experience with bottle feeding. I also had the unique opportunity to work with a coalition that supported people experiencing domestic violence by connecting their pets with fosters while they stayed in shelters (which normally do not allow animals.) I am currently a grad student at the University of Chicago, and have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule! Whether you would like me to stay at your home full-time while you are away, or just need me to stop by for periodic visits, walks, or play-time, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets! I am available both during the week and on the weekends, and can't wait to spend them hanging out with your cats and dogs! I am very comfortable walking dogs of all sizes, and am happy to take them outside to play as well! If your pet has any medication, I can make sure they take them. I will make sure that dogs have plenty of potty breaks, and that all animals are fed on time. If I am staying in your home, I will be respectful of any boundaries you have and will leave the place just as you left it.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, mostly hounds but lots of experience with all breeds! I am more than happy to work with dogs of any age and have experience with caring for high needs and senior dogs. i am no stranger to a mess and have no problem cleaning up any type of accident. i love all dogs but my heart really goes out to the big pups out there <3. i am quite comfortable with working with dogs that have behavioral/agression issues, given i am properly informed and prepared. i have a fairly open schedule most of the time. i work freelance contractually from time to time, but i am always available to take a break and come see your fur baby. i am returning part time to school in the fall, but that should not interfere with care timings I am very comfortable with dog procedural things. Before joining Rover, I regularly used Wag to walk and care for dogs, so I’m familiar with working with different breeds, temperaments, routines, and owner preferences. About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs of varying ages and have always enjoyed it immensely. I no longer have a dog of my own but I would love to make friends with yours. I am working 3 days per week (not a set schedule) and have enough time to spend with some lovely dogs. My schedule changes week to week but I am quite flexible and hopeful we can find a good agreement for dog sitting/walking. My apartment is clean and spacious and perfect for a small/medium dog to stay at and play. I do not own a crate but also would prefer if your dog is properly trained and can tolerate being in open space.

About: I’ve always been the go-to among family and friends to watch their animals when they are gone for trips or vacations or need extra help. I’m an avid walker in general, and a walk is always better with a pet! I’ve volunteered for two years at animal shelters, trained and raised a puppy, and have experience caring for pets young and old. I’m currently a writer, remote copy-editor, and substitute teacher with an incredibly flexible schedule at the moment. I can watch, walk, and care for dogs and cats pretty much 24/7 at the moment. The only thing I cannot do is host animals in my home due to my apartment’s lease. Every pet is different and every pet owner cares for their pet differently.
