“Julia was absolutely wonderful with my pooch! My pup took to her right away. She was very communicative and flexible with accommodating my last minute requests. And with each walk I received pics and my pup couldn’t have looked happier! 😊”

“Lisa "Rane" was fantastic with Bobby. She is prompt and personable. My dog received her well upon their first meeting. She and I developed a good rapport which led me to feel comfortable trusting her with Bobby. I will make her my first request when needing your service in the future.”

“Consistent, punctual, communicative, and generous. She shows up everyday in a timely manner, cares for my dog, and even gives complementary baths and cleaning if she makes a mess. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🤗 she offers a good range of services as well!!”

“Twix loves her so much! He knows her car at this point and is jumping for us to let him go with his friend. She is so amazing withy doodle who isn’t the easiest to walk cause he is a puller and she does perfect with him. I have also used her for boarding and day care and I know when he is with her he is so happy and well taken care of ♥️”

About: I've had pets since I was 9. From 9 till now I've had cats, dogs, fishes, and guinea pigs. I have experience with dealing with pets that may have previously trauma issues also with pets that may need careful care like medince or special needs. Even pets that don't need extra care just pets that wants to have long walks or need a lot of play time . I am currently in school. So I will be working part time for Rover. Evening and nights works best for the weekdays and for the weekends I am open for anytime you need. For cats do have multiple cat bags if they need to brought to a appointment or any where else. And foot dogs if you don't have a leach I can get one but I would prefer for you to have leeches and rates of pets need to be taken out of the house .
“Excellent dog walker. She is dependable, trustworthy, and amazing with my dog. I felt completely comfortable leaving my pet in her care during my vacation. She responds is a great timely manner”

About: I have cared for multiple different animals throughout my life. I've cared for animals such as including turtles, dogs, cats, and fish from elementary school through now. Aside from caring for my own pets, I previously helped to volunteer at an animal shelter and would often visit shelters in my free time, making it easier for me to bond with animals! I am currently a full-time university student, so I would have to accommodate with my class schedule. However, my weeks typically have some free time so I am still very flexible with my schedule for pet care! I will always greet your pet and thoroughly follow any pet care instructions. I am open to walks, playing, litter cleaning, etc. I'll also make sure to leave their environment clean and comforting before heading out.
About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid. My many years of pet ownership has trained me for this opportunity. My Chewy is both happy and healthy. I’m recently retired. My daily schedule is built around the needs of my boy, Chewy. He’s walked at minimum three (3) times a day; my friends and family know the routine. I have a secure deck to allow fresh air and free movement with guaranteed security. I have a crate if needed, but think all dogs should have free movement daily.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs of varying ages and have always enjoyed it immensely. I no longer have a dog of my own but I would love to make friends with yours. I am working 3 days per week (not a set schedule) and have enough time to spend with some lovely dogs. My schedule changes week to week but I am quite flexible and hopeful we can find a good agreement for dog sitting/walking. My apartment is clean and spacious and perfect for a small/medium dog to stay at and play. I do not own a crate but also would prefer if your dog is properly trained and can tolerate being in open space.
About: Hi! I just graduated from college and am looking on Rover as an additional job. I have grown up with many pets, including dogs and lots of other interaction with cats. One of my dogs is currently 15 years old, and we rescued my other dog, so I have experience working with senior pets as well as very anxious pets. Have had pets for more than 10 years of my life. I am not starting a Master’s degree until September, so my daily routine is very flexible, making pet care easy! I am happy to adjust as needed. I love spending time with pets and am happy to be with them in whatever environment they feel the most comfortable. In your homes I will respect your space and your pet’s, and happily meet your needs.
About: In addition to taking care of my own three dogs, I have spent the past four summers working at a doggy daycare/ kennel. I have professional training and experience in taking care of animals of a variety of sizes and various needs. With over 50 dogs in our care every day, I am experienced in creating an environment that is safe, clean, and fun. I feel prepared to handle anything that is thrown my way !! I am a graduate student here in Chicago, so I have classes four days a week, but I can do walks and drop in visits for most of the afternoon, and dogsitting and walks Saturday-Monday. I am unable to take pets into my own home, but in a clients home I am prepared to work with whatever is available, including spending as much time outside as necessary and bringing treats and a slip lead to help with walking, training, and crating. For pets who prefer to spend their time indoors, I will make sure they still get plenty of attention and mental stimulation.
About: I’ve been walking and dog-sitting for dogs of all sizes & ages since 2014, and dog mom of a Husky since 2021! Happy to go on long walks, play fetch or with the favorite toy, and send you cute pics of your pup along the way. I’m a recent graduate from the University of Chicago and still on the hunt for a full-time job. To keep me sane during the job search process, I would love to care for your pet(s) throughout the week & weekend! Happy to send photos of our walks! I will make sure your dogs have food & water. I can also easily clean up puppy messes if they are still potty training. Please let me know what their favorite treat is too!

I have experience with administering medical supplements, adhering to specific feeding schedules and portion requirements. I have followed individualized activity plans and routines for both dogs and cats. I want to provide the consistency in a pets routine while their owners are away. I promote owner-established potty training methods in regards to 6 months and older potty training behaviors. My approach combines reliability, patience, and genuine affection for animals while providing pet owners with confidence that their pets are receiving attentive and compassionate care in their absence. I am a Retired NCAA WBB coach so I have time to care for your fur family! I Can adjust to your pets favorite routine! I stay in your home so that your fur family is in their most safe space! I stick to their routines and routes! I can include new enrichment activities and stick to what works for them! I understand crating and routine! I have also slept w 4 animals in bed so that were very supported during the owner’s mini vacation.
About: I've always taken care of dogs since I was seven. At one point I even had three dogs and a cat all at the same time. It was kind of hectic but I loved them all equally. I've always been responsible and the sole care giver of all the pets in the house. Feeding and walking the dogs were always my responsibility and they still are 12 years later. I am currently taking a semester off from college so my schedule is mostly free. Any time after 12 PM I am free to take care of your pets. After I start the summer semester my schedule might change though. I will diligent and detail oriented with the instructions you give me and follow any tiype of special care or requirements that your furry baby needs.
About: I have grown up with many dogs. My childhood dog grew up with me and I learned to love and take care of a dog with her. Since then I have cared for many other dogs. Most dogs I have cared for have medical needs such as medication or certain foods. While I have a soft spot in my heart (and much experience) with senior dogs, everyone loves a puppy too! I have taken care of many high energy puppies who need to play! I am available most time! I work on call so my schedule remains fairly open! I am an early riser and love a morning pet session! With my pets in my homes, I ensure they are provided evweything they need and more. Safety health and well-being are top priorities for all animals in my life. I want to ensure there is nothing toxic for your furry friend to get into, while also providing engaging activities for them!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kenwood
If not for Erin moving away we would not let her go :) Erin has been walking Harry every week for several months and Harry knows and looks forward to the days where he gets to see her! We appreciate her consistent care and patience with Harry, who is a sweetheart but can be reactive, and Erin has always handled him wonderfully. And I so appreciate the sweet notes and model shots Erin sends each walk! 100/10 rating!
