About: Hi there! I’m a young professional who’s ready to love and care for your furry friend as much as you do! I have lots of experience watching and caring for pets. I had small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.) growing up and now care for my own senior pup, Clara. In addition to my own dog, I’ve dog sat for many friends and neighbors (both in their homes and mine) while they were on vacation or out of town. I also have experience helping train/board young dogs, so I’m more than comfortable with puppies! You can ask any of my friends—my love for animals knows no bounds, so you know I’ll take great care of your pets and give them the love they need when you’re not available. I’m currently working from home, so I have a flexible schedule to care for your pets! I am available weekdays and weekends from 9am to 6pm. Having cared for a senior dog, I know all the meticulous needs that come with owning a pet. Schedule, cleanliness, and patience are key to keeping our animals safe and healthy. I work best with detailed care instructions to ensure that your pet is comfortable in your absence!

“Malcomn was FANTASTIC with my dog Loki! He was attentive and gave him the care he needed. Malcomn followed care instructions well & communicated promptly with me. He also sent me photo updates which were very appreciated. He is now my regular dog walker :) 10 stars for Malcomn.”

“Qutress is so sweet to our Ellie and we are so lucky to have found her.”

About: While I do not currently share my life with a dog of my own (it's a matter of being unable to adopt every dog I lay my eyes on!), I dearly love helping pet parents keep their dogs happy and healthy and preferably in their own homes while their owners are away. I love to travel, and love to spend time with as many dogs as I can possibly fit into my day. You can often find me chatting with others about their animals, and I am always interested in hearing about every little detail. I enjoy helping people get a greater understanding regarding the welfare of their animals, and sometimes bore my friends with random and obscure dog breeds, and what I know of their temperament and behavior. I'm proud to say I try to research as many breeds as I can so that I know what to expect, and hey, it's always fun to just know why and how a breed came into existence! I happen to also be studying veterinary technology, for the knowledge of nutrition and behavior, since surgery is more information than I want. :D I am also very happy to drop by or stay with your cats, and am quite used to the varying personalities of these small creatures: the ones who like to play hide and seek, the aloof, the playful, and the grumpy. I don't mind at all, as long as the cat is comfortable, eating, and using their litter box, all is well! I can work my day around your dog or cat, as I am a dedicated sitter, and much prefer to spend my time enjoying the company of cats and dogs as much as I can. I much prefer to stay with the dog or cat in their own home, as having their familiar surroundings help them remain peaceful, happy, and comfortable.

“Kristen was great! So caring with my pups and totally made me feel comfortable as a first-time user of Rover.”

“Madison is so sweet, responsive, and enthusiastic. You can tell she really loves dogs! She always takes care of Jourdin on every walk she takes so I continue to book her for my doodle bear 💛”

“He was great with Bruno and food about communicating and being flexible with my schedule.”

About: I have a 3 year old frenchie so being attentive to canines has become a learned skill! I have enough energy to keep up too. Currently looking for full time work, so I am fully available until I find something. Would love to continue as a part time job afterward I am attentive, kind, caring and respectful with all animals, and they are always very responsive to humans that are patient and loving with them

“Mother-in-law said Stella LOVED Bola and was so excited for all her walks!! The only thing she would change to make this a 5 start rating was the inconsistancy of arrival time and lack of communication in regards to being late. Overall, amazing service!! We look forward to working with Bola again in the near future!!”

About: I've always taken care of dogs since I was seven. At one point I even had three dogs and a cat all at the same time. It was kind of hectic but I loved them all equally. I've always been responsible and the sole care giver of all the pets in the house. Feeding and walking the dogs were always my responsibility and they still are 12 years later. I am currently taking a semester off from college so my schedule is mostly free. Any time after 12 PM I am free to take care of your pets. After I start the summer semester my schedule might change though. I will diligent and detail oriented with the instructions you give me and follow any tiype of special care or requirements that your furry baby needs.

About: In high school, I used to help my neighbor feed and clean up after his 20-30 sled dogs. I have a soft spot for and plenty of experience caring for (and wrangling) large, strong dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities and bring gentleness and firmness to match their needs, whatever they may be. I recently graduated and am searching for a full time job in my field, which leaves plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets! I am free during normal work hours and have some availability on nights and weekends, feel free to ask! When I enter a client’s home I do so as a visitor, and make sure the pets know it’s still *their* home, where they are safe and in control. I calmly approach and introduce myself before moving on to care tasks or dog walks. Your pets feeling safe and comfortable in their own space and with me is my number one priority. If I’m lucky enough to take care of a furry friend multiple times they’ll know me in short time and get excited to see me come around:) I am firm with pets when it is called for though! I would never force a pet out for a normal walk in a downpour but I’ll help motivate them to go out long enough to do their business under my umbrella.

About: Hello, My name is Candace and I have a 17 year old toy poodle by the name of Francesca. I adopted Francesca 12 years ago and instantly fell in love with her. She's a joy and I consider her family. I live in a 3 bedroom condo in Bronzeville, where I allow Francesca free access to roam. Your dog will have the same privileges. Your furbaby will be walked 2+ times a day and fed based on your specifications. And of course I will provide plenty of water for hydration. I prefer housebroken dogs but I am ok with dogs who use potty pads. If you're looking for a loving home to board your pet while you're away, this is the perfect place. I work mostly from home. I’m normally not away for more than a couple of hours. I can alert you to any change in this pattern. I can accommodate most requests. I will care for your dog based on your specifications. I treat all my guests like they’re my own dog.

“Jasmine is awesome. She has been such a help with our German Shepherd who loves her - and even trained her to walk much better within just a few days of walking her! We are so thankful to have a helping hand like Jasmine near to us - so we couldn’t recommend hiring her more highly (though not when we need her!! ?)”

About: I’ve had family pets since a young age that I’ve looked after. When I was majoring in Pre-vet in undergrad, I would volunteer at a pet clinic and shadow Vet techs. I’ve looked after friends pets, family pets, and hopefully yours. My availability as of right now is pretty open and flexible. I do prefer morning and afternoons and during the week. However, I can also pet-sit on the weekends. I do not currently have a pet of my own. Only a family dog. She’s not living with me. She is a brown lab, she’s a senior and she’s pretty energetic.

About: Experience with puppy training, dog and cat sitting for neighbors since the 7th grade. I love dogs and miss my dog at home so love to walk dogs whenever I get the chance!!! I am also a runner so happy to run with your dog too if they need some extra exercise! Have lots of experience with animal care, and cared for a wide variety of animals since 1st grade with having rabbits, chickens, a cat, and a dog for the past 7 years. I’m currently a student-athlete at UChicago, so happy to do walks any point throughout the day that does not conflict with my class/practice schedule. Sundays, Monday afternoons, Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings are the most available, but my schedule is flexible and happy to accommodate bookings. I have a fenced yard at my apartment and no other pets right now. I live on a calm street close to some parks for walks and play time!

About: Experience with dogs and cats. Full time student which gives me more flexibility to attend to your pet! I’ve worked with mostly medium sized high energy dogs. I am a graduate student here in Chicago so I can be flexible with attending to pets on week days and weekends. I also have a car so I can be quick to get to locations I love being attentive to pets and their needs whether it’s playing, going on walks, potty breaks, and keeping track of food and water intake.

“Avery is very knowledgeable of animals' behaviors and needs, and he really bonded with my cat Melon while caring for him. I'd gladly leave any pet in Avery's care and would recommend him very highly.”

20. Grace T.
“Grace is an exceptional pet caregiver whom I recommend to anyone seeking a responsible and loving care for their furry friends. Grace has a unique ability to create a connection with any pet. I witnessed Grace's care firsthand when she helped me pet-sit a friend's cat.
