“Kat is honestly the only person we trust with our pup. She’s caring, considerate, and very respectful. She always finds a way to leave our house cleaner than when we left it. Whenever we leave our dog with Kat, it’s immediate peace of mind. She’s the best!”

“Nicole is incredibly communicative. She goes above and beyond with our dog. We were so pleased to have her stay in our home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will be booking again.”

“Kelso was great. She was very responsive and communicative and our dog seemed quite happy and content when we returned. Bonus: she left the house clean and left her towels freshly laundered!”

“Jade was amazing as our house sitter. Prompt, attentive, and very professional. Wouldn't hesitate to have her back to watch over our cat, and would recommend her to anyone. 😊”

“Reshunda was amazing to work with. My pup has some allergy issues and she did a great job at checking in and following directions. Thanks so much for taking care of my baby!”

“Justice took good care of my dog and four cats. She was very communicative and had to follow a medication regimen and somewhat complicated feeding system. I will definitely book her again when I’m next out of town!”

About: Hola! I’m Barbara—an economic justice advocate, Red Cross volunteer, and total bonafide Dog Mom. I grew up surrounded by German Shepherds, but as an adult, I fell in love with the little ones—starting with my very first Shih Tzu, who looked more like an Ewok than a dire wolf! For over 20 years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family. I’ve walked and cared for cats and dogs of all ages and sizes, from playful puppies to seniors needing a little extra TLC. In 2020, my life changed when I adopted a special-needs Shih Tzu named Chewy, who has a rare condition called Megaesophagus and eats upright in a “Bailey chair.” Chewy’s thriving journey has been such a gift—and we’ve shared it with a supportive community through his Instagram Now that Chewy is doing great, we’ve been hosting more furry friends and officially joined Rover to offer personalized, loving care to other pets—especially small to medium dogs. I work remotely, so I’m home most of the day and love having a companion to walk, cuddle, and care for. ✅ We only care for one household’s pets at a time—so your dog(s) will get all the attention ✅ Calm, flexible, and experienced with both healthy pets and those with medical or mobility needs ✅ Fully covered with Pet Sitter Insurance for your peace of mind ✅ Let’s set up a Meet & Greet to see if we’re the right fit! Whether you’re going out of town or just need a reliable sitter, Chewy and I are ready to make your dog feel right at home. I work from home full-time, which means your furry little one will get plenty of attention throughout the day. I have the flexibility to take them on walks, enjoy playtime like fetch or tug-of-war, and give them the love and companionship they need—whether it’s a quick potty break or a full day of care. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow any instructions you provide closely—feeding schedules, medications, preferred routines, and behavior notes are all part of the care plan. I also keep your pet's environment calm, clean, and cozy, just like you'd want it to be. In my home, I care for only one household’s pets at a time to make sure your dog gets plenty of one-on-one attention. I supervise all outdoor time and never allow off-leash play unless in a securely fenced area. I also have Pet Sitter Insurance for added peace of mind. If I’m visiting your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I give your pet—double-checking doors, cleaning up, and keeping things tidy and secure. And if anything seems off while you're away, I’ll keep you informed right away.
“Jessica was great with watching our 5 month old puppy. She was communicative and did a great job adapting to his behavior. Would not hesitate to work with her again!”

“Xena loved her time with Andres. I was regularly updated with pictures and always felt like Xena was well cared for. I came home to a happy pup all thanks to Andres. Highly recommend.”

“Ava was wonderful with our 3 pups. She knew how to manage their chaos and treated them so sweetly. She left the place looking great and really just went above and beyond. We will definitely be using her services again.”

“The experience with Diane was great! We will not hesitate to book with her again. She recently stayed for 4 nights with our 90-lb German Shepherd Dog. Being so comfortable with Diane made being away so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Diane sent multiple videos throughout each day to reassure us that our boy was getting exercise and having a good time. In addition, she took great care in the house. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. 5 Stars!!”

“Yesenia is so knowledgeable and attentive. Our cat was scared of fireworks so she made him a fort using a chair and a blanket; she also won over our rescue lab, who is wary of anything and anyone new. In addition to seemingly being a natural with animals, Yesenia is a pleasure to work with and provides lots of updates to pet parents. 100% will be using her again!”

“Kexin was incredible with my 2 cats! She sent photos every day, played with them so much, and fed them well. When I came back, the cats expected a lot of playtime from me! Couldn’t be happier, would definitely recommend her to a friend.”

About: My life is centered around cats and dogs. I currently run and host an independent catch shelter from home. We have a completely separate unit to host on board Your cat or dog at any given time. We also count with a fenced in yard. Where they get to hang out and play on beautiful days. I eat, live, breathe pet care. It's what I do on a daily basis with over fifty one cats and three dogs in our facility, that is truly what I am passionate about. And do it all day. Besides having a fenced in yard, every part of our space has their safety and security in mind, Above all. From protocols in place to introduce New pets to the space so they can be comfortable, to separate spaces that accommodate your pets away from the rest of the population and systems to ensure the pets wellbeing above all.

“Samantha was marvelous! I’m always nervous leaving my 9yo wheaten terrier, as she’s been known to get kind of cranky and snarly around other dogs. However, Samantha assured me she felt comfortable with my high-maintenance fuzzy friend. She sent regular photos and updates throughout my week-long trip, and always responded quickly whenever I’d reach out. My place was very clean when I returned and, most importantly, my dog seemed happy and relaxed. I’ll definitely reach out to Samantha again for upcoming trips!”

“Highly recommend Aleisha! Aleisha stayed with our baby at our home for several days. During that time, we got lots of photos updates. It was evident our baby was happy and comfortable! Aleisha was also respectful of our home. We will be using her services again in the future!”

“We have two senior felines each preferring to be the center of the universe. Both boys seem to enjoy her company. Since they are the center of our universe that makes me very happy.”

Lifesaver!! Due to some emergency travel issues, we needed Gianni just stay with our dog for an extra night. This was during horrible storms in Chicago. She acted quickly, changed her plans and was able to stay another night with our dog. Cannot thank her enough.

Maniyah did an amazing job caring for my Yorkie, Major, while I was away. From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, patient, and genuinely caring. Major is very emotionally attached to me and normally takes time warming up to people, but he became extremely comfortable with her throughout the stay, which gave me a huge sense of peace while traveling. She consistently kept me updated with messages, photos, and videos, which I truly appreciated. I could tell Major was receiving attention, love, playtime, and comfort while I was gone. She also followed his routines closely and treated both Major and my home with care and respect. Overall, Maniyah made this entire experience smooth and stress-free for me. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, compassionate, and reliable to care for their pet. Thank you again for taking such great care of my little guy!

Cristian was awesome. Very communicative and asked all the right questions before booking and updated us frequently with what was going on with our dog. He went above and beyond and took him for an extra walk and feed when our flight was delayed for 4 hours. I’ll definitely book him again!

Gail was great with Gizmo! She was very communicative, sending regular updates and photos so we always knew what Gizmo was up to. She was very caring and we felt comfortable leaving Gizmo in her care. She left the house in better condition than when we left. And we returned to a very happy pup!

Ana was amazing with our two small dogs! She was super communicative and punctual, and we always felt confident that our pups were in great hands. She gave regular updates and made sure they were happy and comfortable the whole time. We’d definitely book with her again!
Vanessa is amazing. I just adopted a rescue two days prior and had separation anxiety, as did I. She also had a seizure condition si so it was so comforting to have someone who knew what was had to be done in case of an emergency. Vanessa put Olivia at ease. She sent me pictures throughout the night. Olivia even followed her to the door when sheleft. She asked such good questions at the start of the night about the emergency syringe and ER if needed. Feel so grateful for her. Highly recommend!

From the beginning when we connected with Ernesto & he agreed to house sit for Marx & we met him I felt secure in choosing him. He's a very responsible sitter who took care of Marx in a way that I appreciate. Marx grew attached & trusted him. The photos & videos helped in making me feel secure my doggy Marx was being cared for. I would certainly have him as a house sitter in the future if needed & highly recommend him to anyone who needs a wonderful sitter for your pet.
