“Nicole went absolutely above and beyond! She took the time to do a meet and greet to make sure my cats were comfortable with her and she was able to successfully administer meds. Very thankful to have found a reliable and caring sitter - would highly recommend!”

“Kelso was absolutely incredible taking care of my doggo child who can be a handful, I completely felt at ease with my dog son in her care! She kindly gave me updates, pics, video, and even got him his first pup cup which he loved! She administered his AM & PM meds without missing any, gave him his special meals, and was able to handle his dog reactivity on walks & keep my boy safe & other dogs safe as well. Cookie was even sad to see her go as he made a new bff, and he’s a picky lil guy. She’s super easy going and down to earth, I will definitely be rebooking the next time I need a doggo sitter & will be recommending for any friends who need dog sitters too!! 🙏🙌👌💖💖💖💖💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🐶☺️🤩”

“Dilrose was great with my senior dog while house sitting. She administered his medications and catered to him as he is going blind and deaf. She was a very good house guest and went above and beyond during her stay. She was also great with sending updates and photos. I would definitely book her again!”

“Jade did a wonderful job. She clearly really cared about my dogs and sent plenty of updates. My apartment was incredibly clean after she left. Would hire again in a heartbeat.”

“Christopher was absolutely awesome to work with. Chris house sat for us with my dog Fiona. Chris. Was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process from coming over before his stay to meet Fiona to giving us updates while we were out of town on how our girl was doing. If you are looking for someone who will care and love your pet while you are away, Chris is your guy.”

“Elaine was truly a great sitter. This was my first time away from my 4.5 month old puppy Mia and I was feeling very anxious. Elaine stayed at my apartment for 2 nights, providing me with frequent updates and pictures which was really reassuring. “Carolyn did such an amazing job housesitting. I had to book last minute due to an emergency and she was at my place within an hour. My apartment looked just as it was when I left it, and Carolyn followed instructions perfectly. She was very communicative and very thoughtful with my anxious dog. I am so glad to have found her in such a pinch and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Allie took care of Socks in our home over the weekend and it went great! We came back to a happy dog, an immaculate house, and she kept us updated throughout with plenty of photos. Socks took to Allie very quickly (and normally she’s nervous with new people so it was a pleasant surprise!) and she just seems so reliable, friendly, and caring to our dog that we also trusted her rightaway! Will definitely have Allie care for Socks more in the future… THANK YOU!!!”

“Ruthann did a great job taking care of my dog over the holidays. She’s a good communicator, understanding, and respectful. I felt like she had things under control, and that took a lot of weight off so I could focus on my family. I strongly recommend her.”

About: I have done occasional pet sitting since I was in high school. I have two cats of my own that I absolutely adore. I would love to cuddle and take care of your kitties! I work 8-4 during the week, but I typically have an hour or so to step away and visit your pets. I also have an open schedule on the weekends. Having two cats myself, I understand that animals need time to adjust to a new person. I usually let the animals come to me when they feel safe and ready.
East Garfield Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Em was great with our four year old German shepherd/malinois mix who can be difficult at times. Unfortunately he had some stomach issues during her visit and Em took wonderful care of him. She sent plenty of pictures and updates which was much appreciated. It was a worry-free weekend vacation because of Em! Em stayed at our place for the weekend and left it in spotless condition. We look forward to our next trip knowing that we can trust Em to take care of the pets and the Condo!

Lifesaver!! Due to some emergency travel issues, we needed Gianni just stay with our dog for an extra night. This was during horrible storms in Chicago. She acted quickly, changed her plans and was able to stay another night with our dog. Cannot thank her enough.

Nicole was great! Stayed with our girls on short notice and took such good care of them (and us)! Came for a meet-and-greet since this was our first time, which I really appreciated. Just the right amount of communication while we were away, including photos of our dogs looking blissful. Thank you, Nicole!
Nya was fantastic! From the very first meet and greet, she asked thoughtful questions and made it clear she genuinely cared about getting to know Cowboy’s routine and needs. While we were away, she sent detailed updates twice a day along with tons of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and proactive, and I truly never worried about Cowboy while he was in her care. It was obvious he was getting lots of attention and affection. On top of that, our house looked exactly as we left it when we got home. I would absolutely book with Nya again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

We originally booked Allie for a 2 week house sit, and unfortunately Socks had a medical emergency while we were on a different continent. I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her. Allie became Socks’ advocate when we couldn’t be there ourselves. She drove her to multiple vets, spent hours and hours at appointments, volunteered without hesitation to make long drives, stayed with Socks throughout the entire process, and made sure she was never alone or scared. Over three incredibly stressful days, she kept us constantly updated, remained calm and level-headed, asked the right questions, and helped us make decisions from thousands of miles away. What impressed us most was not just the time and effort she put in, but how deeply she cared. She was firm and clear with the vets, thoughtful with us, and incredibly compassionate with Socks. At every step, we knew our dog was being cared for by someone who genuinely had her best interests at heart. Allie has set an exceptionally high bar for every future sitter and dog walker we use. I honestly can’t imagine many people responding to this situation the way she did. We trust her completely and will always be grateful for everything she did for our family.

Emmalyn was great, she made us feel so comfortable traveling knowing our dogs were so well cared for! She sent so many good pictures and left our place nice and tidy for our return. She was good with the dogs and we could tell they didn’t feel stress in our absence.
