Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. About: I have had dogs all my life. Growing up a Old English Sheep dog(ralphie) a Chihuahua(Penny) When i was out on my own, I had a jack Russell terrier(Spot), in college 3 Chow Chows(Gannon) later a Great Dane and lastly a Pit Bull (Pixley). So I have had small to extra large dogs and loved them all, I am very good with them and most dogs gravitate toward me. I am very patient with them as they are what I call perpetual 2 year olds!! In conclusion I would like to say what an honor it would be for me to share some time with your dog and to put you at ease while you are gone knowing your dog is safe and with an experienced and caring sitter. i am currently running a non profit and have alot of time during most days and evenings to take care of your animals in best way i do boarding and drop ins ,housitting and walks at your place. “Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

“Eden and her partner welcomed our sweet boy, Iggy, into their home and allowed him to settle in and feel safe and comfortable. She was responsive to his high anxiety and tendency to want to act like an alpha towards strangers on the street, they were able to put him at ease so he could still enjoy some exercise and fresh air while out on walks in the city. Her resident dog Luna was very welcoming and friendly. It’s not easy leaving your loved one with a stranger, her daily check-ins helped alleviate the stress of that.
