I have grown up with dogs in my house my entire life. Im also currently a dog mama to a 3 year old pitbull/lab mix. I’ve done a lot of training with puppies so I am comfortable helping out with youngsters who need a little more firmness. I just LOVE to be around dogs. However, I still understand that dog sitters must be cautious and caring and I can be both of those things. I have helped watch my neighbors dogs through daily checkins. I also have done weekend stays for a multi-dog home and my responsibilities included walking, bathing and feeding. If you’re comfortable I also love taking dogs to the dog park, although I realize that isn’t the best environment for every pup. I also have over 100 hours of volunteer time at my local animal shelter back home in Maine. I worked with every cats&dogs and did a lot of dirty work but absolutely loved it. I am comfortable if the family has other pets besides dogs! Looking forward to helping families out and getting to know your pups! I am incredibly flexible, I work from home as my job is fully remote. If I don’t have the availability you’re looking for, you can message me and I will see if I can make it work! I understand that every dog had a different personality & needs and will adapt to those needs. Safety always comes first and this is achieved by being extra aware of the dog and the environment. Em was wonderful with our boys! She sent plenty of pictures and updates, and was very communicative throughout her stay. Our dog can be anxious and he absolutely loved spending time with Em. We could tell how attentive and caring she was by how much our boys loved to snuggle with her. We are so glad we’ve found her and have already lined up future bookings!
Em was great with our four year old German shepherd/malinois mix who can be difficult at times. Unfortunately he had some stomach issues during her visit and Em took wonderful care of him. She sent plenty of pictures and updates which was much appreciated. It was a worry-free weekend vacation because of Em! Em stayed at our place for the weekend and left it in spotless condition. We look forward to our next trip knowing that we can trust Em to take care of the pets and the Condo!
Em was absolutely great! She was very communicative and sent lots of pics which we LOVE! One of our dogs takes a bit to warm up to people but he loved her and even gave her some cuddles :)
Em watched our dog Midnight from March 12–16 and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Midnight can be a little anxious, so leaving him is never easy, but Em made us feel completely comfortable the whole time. She took him on lots of walks and spent plenty of time playing with him, and it was clear that she gave him a ton of attention and care. When we got home, Midnight was happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after. It meant a lot knowing he wasn’t just being watched, he was genuinely being cared for and loved while we were gone. On top of that, our house was absolutely spotless when we returned. Em even threw the sheets in the laundry for us, which was such a thoughtful extra touch and completely above and beyond. We’d trust Em with Midnight again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring sitter. 😁
Em was punctual and so sweet with Pearce! I truly appreciated her so much for taking the time to walk him even though he was difficult! Thank you so much Em! 15/10 recommend!!!
