I don't force pets to be stressed over a new person coming to their home to sit or if they stay overnight with me at home, I really try to keep it as natural for them. Your routine for walks, at home stays, day care, are all considered to keep your pet comfortable. I would like to know the pet parent's notes on a pet's favorite activities/dislikes/medications/warnings etc.

CATS: Are they scared/shy of new guests? Do they attempt to escape when door is open? What are their common spots they hide/feel comfortable? Any rooms they are NOT allowed in to check if they're closed? Any Vomit/Diarrhea recent history prior to visit? This will help me know if its 'common' , for example for vomiting hairballs on floors vs a medical concern. Does your pet need special needs such as: help placing/removing mobility wheel chair/diaper changes/bandage care/ handicapped needs? Any medication instructions? DOGS: Does your pet pull during walks? Is your pet reactive encountering other animals during walks such as; squirrels/cats/dogs? Does your pet need special needs such as: help up the stairs, placing/removing mobility wheel chair, handicapped needs? Any medication instructions? Allergies? Social or reserved from other animals during day care/stay over night bookings?

I understand not every pet is the same. Some dogs aren't as social, I respect if their walk is strictly around the neighborhood, not far away from their home. Other dogs are very social & full of energy, there are cute parks for them to explore I would enjoy to share with them, plus they could meet new friends there too. I would like to know the pet parent's notes on a pet's favorite activities/dislikes/medications/warnings etc.

Volunteering at animal shelters & working in the veterinary field; I've learn to introduce myself to cats & dogs, handling their quirks, understanding their 'language', & following through with detailed instructions to make sure they have the outmost care. I enjoy helping on training along the visit. For example if you're teaching your pup to ring bells before a walk to go potty, if we are learning how to sit before a meal/treat, or if you have a kitten & we are learning not to scratch on furniture & needs help on redirecting. My heart goes to senior pets that need that extra attention to either be helped up the stairs, need slower short walks, need help with medications; oral/injections, gentle proper handling/cleaning. I'm encouraging attention for cats, they need fair attention as well like dogs. I have five cats in my family & as a pet parent, I want their care to be in the right hands too, just like my dog. I highly recommend Yesenia as a cat sitter! My cats seemed relaxed and well taken care of when I returned. She sent many pictures and was very communicative. My cats clearly enjoyed their time with her!
Yesenia is my go-to catsitter because she is SO reliable and my cats are always calm and relaxed when I come home from a trip. I could not recommend her more strongly.
Yesenia was great! From the first meet and greet, we could tell that our cat was comfortable with her, and she’s usually pretty skittish with new people. The regular visits and accompanying pictures were a huge relief while we were away. We’ll definitely ask for Yesenia again next time we’re out of town.
A truly fantastic catsitter who I always book--Yesenia cares about my cats, plays with them, and makes them happy while I am gone. I am never stressed or concerned about them when I book her.
